Ambiance: Casual, food hall Food: 5/5 Service: fast casual Feeling indecisive but love having a good variety of choices? Edgewater Public market is the answer! This is one of the coolest, new establishments that I've been to in Colorado. Personally, I feel like this place is similar to Avanti but minus the pretentious people (it's also dog/kid friendly). Now this place opened up a few weeks ago and so things are still under construction. There were a few retail stores still setting up, menus that weren't fully functioning but don't let this stop you! There were 15+ food options, including options for alcohol, coffee and ice cream. We did a few laps perusing our options before we decided on a Connecticut style lobster roll and lobster bisque from Rock n lobster roll, wild boar carnitas quesadilla and horchata from Carnivore, and a Cristo crepe from Moontime crepes. The Connecticut style lobster roll had hot lobster inside buttery bread, you can definitely taste the love. It was so good, we actually ended up ordering another one. The lobster bisque was sooo creamy and had tiny pieces of real lobster. The wild boar carnitas quesadilla wasn't aesthetically pleasing but DANG it packed in flavor and the meat was so tender! The salsas also added a good kick without being too spicy. The Cristo crepe reminded me of the big, beautiful crepes you can get in Breckenridge. They are HUGE and they are stuffed! All the toppings went so well together and the honey mustard added a slightly sweet tanginess. Unfortunately, the crab chips that came with the lobster roll and the horchata from Carnivore were meh. The chips tasted too fishy and salty while the horchata tasted watered down. Overall: Solid options, solid food. I loved that the food options were mom and pop stores or were food trucks. There was a good variety of foods (Ethiopian, gyros, pizza, arepas) but surprisingly there aren't any Asian options. I totally recommend coming here with friends/family/dogs. read more

I had no idea Denver loved a food hall as much as it did, but it does. Turns out, I do too! I heard rumblings of Edgewater Public Market opening within the foodiegram universe and I just HAD to come in on opening day. This is one of the bigger ones around, if not maybe the biggest? At least in terms of how many vendors are inside. As soon as you walk in, Roger's Bar greets you before a large, open space lined with unique food spots pulls you right on in.I saw a little bit of everything from Konjo Ethiopian food to Lazo Empanadas. Mac Shack and Meta Burger and Mugi Ramen. Plus maybe ten or so more. Amethyst coffee and Barquentine Brewing thrown in there in case you were just thirsty. Tons of seating inside too plus a nice patio on the second floor - wouldn't be Denver if there wasn't one! I decided to try my luck at two food spots: Mac Shack first where I got the pork belly mac and cheese. The pork belly was pretty good (you can't go wrong with my second fave PB acronym) but the mac was just kinda bland. My second pick of Wild Boar Carnitas Quesadilla at Carnivore, on the other hand, was delicious. Great flavor in this meat and the salsa it came with had the best hit of spice. Definitely have my hungry heart set on trying each one of the vendors in here one visit at a time. There's a little bit of a retail row on the other end of the building. Quite a few available spots to be filled by future vendors, but I'm already ecstatic at Horseshoe Market and Velvet Wolf setting up shop in here - love these two from around town already. A nice addition to Edgewater and a very good add to the growing food hall list around town. Looking forward to stopping in here on a less busy day and exploring. read more

Milk Market there's a new dog in town and it's a bad ass. Just opened and its 90% occupied with the most diverse choices of food of any public market in town. More coming in adjacent buildings. Huge lot to park in. Community tables rule here. A smashing patio bar. Drinks out of an airstream with great views of downtown and Sloans lake. I had Venezuelan my first visit. Ethiopian the second visit. He had sliders and fries. All good so far. There is pizza. There is lobster. There is epenadadas etc etc. Two gripes....get people to clean the tables...dogs are great but today it felt like a dog park....barking galore. read more

Ah Denver, you and your obsession with food halls. When I heard Edgewater was opening up my mind instantly went to "oh here we go again" but this food hall is my favorite. Highs - parking lot. all these darn food halls keep opening up in dense areas so having a parking lot was a breath of fresh air. on top of it looks like there are more stores coming in! - layout. to eat their own but i like that it's a 'food court style'. it's easier to line up - sound. for being a warehouse style they've done a good job of sound proofing where you are not screaming at each other - trash bins. idk about you but i'm huge fan when the trash / recycle / compost is clearly labeled. not everyone is familiar with how to throw away waste so it's just nice to know what you're throwing away. - lots of diverse, food options. Lows - hastily put together. The tables look like they were "wet" but it was a crappy job of throwing together the enamel. - small first floor patio area (we didn't check out the roof top) - it's just a food court right now so no shops. i'm looking forward to when they put more in! Konjo - i love Ethiopian food and Konjo did not disappoint! I got a veggie combo plate and add sambusa. oh my word that sambusa changed my life. perfect balance of spice, spiciness and lentils. it was a party in my mouth. while the rest of the veggies were good, they were not amazing. i've had better Ethiopian food on Colfax. Rock Lobster - i've been dying to try this little gem. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. It was soooo worth the wait for this food truck to turn into a little food stall. This place is SO much better than Maine Shack. Perfect amount of knuckle and claw meat MmmMmm. Downside is it takes an obscene amount of time get any food from them. Denver, we know the food hall thing is happening right now but...we can't have 30 of them! Edgewater Public Market however is maybe the most functional in the area right now. The parking situation is easy and ample which helps when you have a big group together for an afternoon. The space inside is large, open, and airy which again helps larger groups. There are a ton of food choices so no concern in bringing your parents, friends with children, or your hippest of out-of-towners!! My husband and I had a couple drinks at Rogers Liquid Oasis (that name friends is amazing), an arepe, and a mixed selection of sliders. All were good and decently priced food that came out fairly quickly. I definitely plan to return as it was such a positive experience and also...the rooftop bar is calling my name something terrible!!! read more

Y'all already know what this is. Another food hall in Denver!! Although they're becoming more common, I still love the idea 'cause it just makes for a cool atmosphere where you can have lots of variety in what you can get. (shout-out to those who love multiple options??) First off, they've got a good amount of parking, which is a big win. Lots of options. Another big win for indecisive people, because your party can just buy multiple things and you can just make a family-styled meal! (if you don't mind sharing). There is a good amount of seating inside as well, though I'm sure it gets filled up quick on a busy busy day. It's food court style - where there is pretty much one large communal seating area, and food stalls surrounding, which is a little different than a few food halls here in Denver. There aren't any food stalls that are exceptionally cheap, but none are insanely expensive either. They're all in the moderate-ish range I say with hesitation, since pricing is definitely subjective. I've had the lobster roll from Rock N Lobster Roll (which I personally felt was expensive), the Little Lilly crepe from Moontime Crepes (moderate pricing), and have ever so slightly tasted the buffalo blue tenders (pretty good pricing) from Lucky Bird. In terms of taste, I think everything was pretty good! Nothing that I would rave about, but I would say that I would get everything again. There are a lot of vacant spaces, which make the market feel a little unfinished?? I think once those fill up, it will definitely help with the atmosphere more. Love it! Unlike similar eateries, this place actually has parking! Love the selection of restaurants. There are some old favorites like Barbed Wire Reef and The Arepa House along with all kinds of new places to try. The bar has a nice selection of draft and bottled beers. I like the mix of high top and regular table seating. And you can enjoy the sportsball with the crowd or sit where you'll never see or hear a tv. read more

Such a cute little spot for a market like this and the location is a sweet-spot of Edgewater. I love the atmosphere, their selection of restaurants and shops. (Since it just opened, all of their retail booths/restaurants are not open yet- so I will be happy to visit again when it is all filled up). I love this place! Great food options (about a dozen) and a big variety so if you're meeting friends here it's convenient that everyone can find something they like. Pricing is reasonable and there's also an ice cream shop, bar, and brewery. I will say the little shops in between the food court and the brewery leave much to be desired. I've brought friends here and my boyfriend and I come here a lot and we love the atmosphere and how friendly the staffs are. It's easy to grab a quick bite or to go after work on the way home too. Love the vibe, the parking options and the amount of seating compared to the other food halls around Denver (here's looking at you zeppelin.) The three restaurants we tried were all delicious and worth the food truck prices. I can imagine this is a place we will frequent in the summer especially with our dog! I get that some people just don't like dogs but coming here you will surely run into at least one dog so be prepared, dog haters. I will say though, if your dog does not do well on a leash or in crowds, better off leaving them at home on the weekend. read more

Huge fancy food court with a big parking lot. Some businesses were still moving in or under construction when we visited. Really nice ambiance and it was fun to wander around and see everything. Took me a while to figure out how to get up on the roof. The bar was overwhelmed with only 2 bartenders and we couldn't get drinks. Pizza place and gyro place were fast with the food tho. Happy Cones was yummy too. I liked that all the cups, plates, etc. were recyclable or compostable. read more

I love this place! My boyfriend and I have recently discovered that there is a Virtual Reality bar upstairs. This was our first experience with VR and we had a BLAST!! We highly recommend coming here with a group of friends to grab a drink and play VR it is really vibey and a silly goofy time. It is also nice having all of the food options on the main floor if you can't agree on something as a group. They have great options and we will be frequent flyers! read more

Finally made it out to Edgewater Public Market! I was super impressed by the size of the space and the sheer number of vendors in the market. So many markets have just food and drink so it was great to see some clothing, plant, and zero waste refill shops inside as well! Tons of seating inside and out but the lack of umbrellas is a bummer, especially on a hot day. I was also a little disappointed to see a lack of healthy options in the food court area. I love a good crepe or arepa, but there didn't really seem to be any options for smoothies or salads. read more

Pros: - Tons of easy parking and seating - Well behaved dogs welcome on leash - 2 patios, 1 on the rooftop - A few big screens for sports - Wifi for a work spot (password edgewater) - Spacious, with plenty of room for kids to run - Retail space filling in with some unique boutiques - They are really trying to cater to everyone - Most of the place feels like an upscale food court (in the best way possible), but there's a nice corner with a full bar and cozier seating. Good mix of pretty delicious food: - Upscale tacos (interesting proteins with good flavor) - Lobster rolls and more (satisfying, delicious, fairly priced) - Fried chicken (was disappointed...a bit dry) - Amethyst coffee shop (Denver favorite) - Ethiopian plates - Crepes - Empanadas - Arepas - Sliders - Gyros - Mac n cheese - Burgers and more - New Zealeand style ice cream (light and creamy) - Plant based burgers coming soon Cons: Still a big warehouse, so noise, drafts, dogs, people not clearing off their own tables, staff not getting to tables asap to wipe them down are a minor drawback. If you're a bit grumpy about those things, try coming on weekdays or off hours. The shiny new facility comes at a bit of a price. Expect to pay about $12-15 for a meal, $7 for a beer. I did not come at a super busy time so I'm guessing it can get packed in there but there is lots of seating. I are at the arepa place and it was delicious!! You will love this market, there's something for everyone. The tables were distanced, they cleaned in between, everyone wore masks etc. Full bar available. We tried the lobster arepa (spicy!), hummus plate, halloumi, and a salad, sweet potato waffle fries, and buff chicken strips from the chicken place. Everything was great and fresh, and you could get almost everything a la carte, arepas were singles, tacos, sliders, etc. There are also stores to visit, I didn't shop but saw them there. I had to stop in to get a giftcard from one of the vendors at the Edgewater Public Market so we decided to check out the place and see what it was like. I feel like there has been a lot of hype about this place and now I know why. It is SO cool. It has a great arrangement of food options and cute shops. Soon there will be a brewery there too. We got cocktails from Roger's Bar, tacos from Carnivore and ice cream from Happy Cones. I wanted to much more but I was so full. I can't wait to go back and try all of the other places to eat. read more

Another great spot for a food, drink, CBD, beer and craft adventure! I spent the evening here with a friend and it was wonderful. We tried food at: Lazo's empanadas (savory and sweet), Lucky Bird (buffalo chicken), Arepas House (plantains) and ended with a build your own cupcake at My Make Studio (I decorated or tried to). We enjoyed a beverage at Infused (sampled CBD sodas) and a couple of beers (to wash down the food) at Barquentine! BUT it started off great at Tangled Ball, which has sewing for men (dicks with sticks) and made the learning so much fun. In a nutshell, we could go a 2nd time and not hit everything. 3.5/5 -- A trendy food hall/court. They have some cool shops and creative restaurants. Unfortunately they don't allow dogs inside and parking is very chaotic/stressful. If you want to bring your dog and grab a bite to eat, you'll have to have a second person. I suppose I don't know why you would rate Edgewater Public Market less than 5 stars? A diverse array of food options? Tons of free parking? Plenty of seating? Alcohol? And they sometimes play Bingo at the bar? It's literally an adult playground. Highly recommend Edgewater Public Market for all your food hall dreams! Lots of good ones in Denver but this is top notch. Also, get the brussel sprouts from the slider stand. It's a destination dish. Like get a burner phone, sneak out the house, and tell all the lies to keep these sprouts to yourself type of dish. read more

This place was a foodie HEAVEN. So many different options and so much seating. My heart almost burst because of how happy I was. I got the spicy lucky bird (they put gochujang butter for the spice!!) and it was delicious. The chicken was humongous and fried to perfection. Just a bit oily tho-so be aware if your stomach is sensitive! The loaded sweet potato fries were probably my favorite of the meal because of how LOADED they were! I also love sweet potato fries. My boyfriend got an arepa and yuca fries (very good-I recommend trying?) and then to end the meal we tried the vegan chocolate chip from Glady's. LEMME TELL YOU, THIS COOKIE WAS BOMB!!!!! I had heard countless rumors of a public market coming to Edgewater and was thrilled to see it come to life! A quick note: as of 11/2019 this was much more of a food hall rather than a public market. Public markets traditionally have a small grocer or grocer like spaces while this is predom restaurant incubators and common eating space. The market still has a few stalls in development and external spaces that are open. What I love most about this place compared to others in Denver (think Milk Market, the Stanley, Zeppelin Station, Broadway) is that it's not as pretentious or trying to be uppity. I also enjoy those other spots but as a person of color, I often feel out of place or like it just isn't designed for me...this place just feels...normal.... Like your average Joe can walk in, grab a bite, and not feel hipsters breathing down your neck bc you didn't order a $20 cocktail. On to the experience! We stopped by around 11 on a Sunday to a somewhat busy spot. By 11:30, it was packed! There are two bars, one downstairs and a second upstairs though that one only opens on nice days from what I can tell. We tried Konjo Ethiopian food as well as a Latin wild meats taco stand. Both were tasty options that'd we'd try again. The bar is average, with $6 bloodies (single shot) on sundays. There are a number of other stalls we want to try, especially the BBQ, Mac and cheese, and papusa stalls! We'll be back!! read more

Love their premixed drinks on tap. They have a good assortment of shops inside as well. From crafty stuff to plant stores and crystals and all kinds of stuff.
