If you've been following me here on Yelp, you understand why I'm picky when it comes to giving a venue or service a 5 star rating. Just like a first date, they need to 'earn your trust', first and foremost, before you choose to generously invest in them. Whether your Date realizes it or not, you definitely invest your time, resources, energy and emotions on them as soon as you feel they deserve it...fair enough! I want to give a big shout out to one of their employees, DANIEL, for making my day. He called to apologize for their mistake and what really impressed me was his sincerity and desire to right the wrong. With a big smile in his voice, he called to inform me that he was going to remake a beautiful arrangement of fruit flowers for me. What struck me as impressive was the fact that he went out of his way to give me a specific time frame for delivery so I don't have to wait for him all day. I appreciate that level of respect for my time. Thank you Daniel, my arrangement was beautiful. If you were my son, I'd be so proud of you.

Worst service ever. I spent $270 on an order, and my mom never received her arrangement. I had to call the Irvine store five times before anyone answered. They said they'd contact the driver and call me back, but never did. When I followed up again, they put me on hold only to tell me the driver left the fruit bouquet outside in the sun, completely ignoring my instructions to leave it with reception. Although they eventually resent the arrangement later that day, the service was unacceptable and not worth the money. This will be my last order.

Visited this Irvine shop today. My family had a poor experience at another location on redemption of a recent promotion during Valentine's Week. This location was Extremely Accommodating. Excellent , Friendly Customer Service! They fulfilled my family's order and they were wrapped beautifully! I would recommend this location to all Orange & South County Businesses and Families. In being in a Customer Service self employed business myself, I know the importance! I rate the staff here AAAAA+++++!!!!!

The 170.00 platter. Wife says it's delicious, but in my opinion it's not almost 200.00 delicious.

Tl;DR: stay away from edible arrangements. They bait and switch, as well as have zero follow up, follow through. You will not be taken care of as a customer period. I ordered for the first time using edible arrangements. It was easy to order on their site and that was where it stopped being good. I requested early drop off, and the order wasn't delivered until the afternoon. Not that big of a deal it was Valentine's Day and I get that they are busy. However, they only delivered half the order. They were supposed to deliver a platter and roses. The roses never showed up. I called immediately to notify them. I was told that I would get a call back from a manager. I waited 2.5 hours for a call. Didn't get a call back, so I called them back. I was then told by Sarah that "we are sorry, but we won't get to your issue until tomorrow as we are too busy" so I was told that I was going to be given a refund of the difference, and contacted the next day. It is now 3 days later and I'm still waiting on a refund and contact. As of right now I have paid 170 bucks for brownies and strawberries. Never using this company EVER again. The slap in the face is the coupon email I now keep getting trying to get me to use a 10 dollars off 50 bucks. I think the bigger slap in the face, was that their shop is in down the street from my wife's work and they probably could have walked the missing items over. No thanks, and never again.

I ordered the "Jane's Garden" fruit platter at $129.00 to be delivered to my sweet family for a Mother's Day Brunch. I ordered it on May 5th to be delivered on May 10th. Plenty of time and it was delivered on time but..... the fruit was on a plain black plastic tray. It looked like it was for a funeral! The fruit looked dark on this tray. Not pretty at all. You guarantee a "WOW". Far from it! I have reached out to customer service with no reply from the store as yet.

I ordered a confetti basket of berries and it was delivered in 2 hours. My only complaint about this great product was the customer service by phone and ticket is horrible. I tried to schedule the delivery at 7 pm but no one answered the phone or tickets and my order was delivered at 5:30 pm. Luckily it didn't melt or go bad before my sister picked it up at 7pm My sister said it was very delicious so I'm a happy customer!

I usually don't like to leave bad reviews but the arrangement delivered was such a disappointment for what I paid. My coworker said the pineapple doves were not good, which was one of the reasons why I ordered this particular fruit bouquet in the first place. I won't be ordering from here again. Although I understand the pictures are just an example, I definitely expected better for a $100 arrangement.. a prettier arrangement, & closer to the number chocolate covered fruit pictured.

For my older sister's bday yesterday, we ordered an Edible Arrangements gift package complete w/chocolate truffle cupcakes & a balloon (not pictured). She was delighted & the family ate most of it! Mike (delivery) texted me throughout the day so most of these stars are for him. Kudos for great customer service! The only 2 things were that because it was so hot, quite a few of the fruit "melted" off the stick, especially the kiwi & watermelon. This was a first! Also, we didn't get 2 vanilla bean cupcakes, but luckily they're chocolate people! Grateful for the treat! Hoping delivery gets a better vehicle with stronger freezers for SoCal.

My experience here was GREAT because there customer service was amazing I went to purchase some arrangements but unfortunately they couldn't cater to me because they don't service in other city But the kid name DAVID went out of his way and got the # to two different other Edible stores in other city so I could contact them and get my arrangements delivered so because of his GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE two other store got business imagine that not only is he making sure his store is taken care of but other store are to and this young lady with her name starts with a D also came from the back to try to help me next time I need anything delivered locally this is going to be my store

If I could do zero stars I would. I ordered my mom the Mother's Day cheesecake dessert box. I spent about 60 dollars. Normally order from edible and it's great quality never have any issues. However my mother received her order and the strawberries were browning/soft. Another actually had a small amount of mold on it. I called in for a refund however the employee was unable to locate my order. I confirmed the address and being I do not live close by to come in person and show my confirmation email she provided me their email so I can send in photos. I will be waiting to hear back on my refund over the next 2-3 days because it's just not even something edible at this point.

The fruit arrangement looked spectacular. BUT their delivery guy was so RUDE, AND NOT PROFESSIONAL! I was shocked. I greeted him at the door and I asked him who is it for. And he replied. "JUST TAKE IT" I JUST DELIVER THEM! He tossed it into my hands, im glad I have quick reflexes to grab it. It had a beautiful glass container if I hadn't caught it. It surely appears he doesn't like his job. I never came across even Grub Hub or Door Dash people that was like that, they have all been pleasant. The arrangement was great. The 1 star goes toward the delivery person. read more

They always have samples here, and they have customizable smoothies. What that means is.., before you can leave with the smoothie you have to taste it to make sure it tastes just right! Want more agave? Or pineapple? Or ice? No problem! They also have a happy hour from 3-5 everyday on smoothies, and fruit salads! Who else is doing this???????????!!!!!!!!!! This review is for Eduardo Fontanilla Jr who delivered my item on Valentine's Day. The recipient lives in gated community and Eduardo was great a communicator between me the recipient as well we working with the front gate. He is hard working and responsible. He got the job done despite of initially having trouble getting in the gate. I would recommend Edible Arrangements and order again in the future. read more

Very sad. The arrangement that I picked up was NOWHERE near what the sample showed. It had tiny bruised strawberries and the pineapples were beginning to turn slightly brown. It looked like the arrangement was made with leftover material. I was also ignored when I walked in. I looked around for my own order, found it, pointed to it, signed some paper, and took it. Customer service is grossly lacking at this location. read more

The delivery service with Mike from the Irvine, Edible arrangement facility was excellent in timing, kindness and change of address . The driver took care of it so smoothly, and communicated with me on 2 separate deliveries so nicely. Wowwwwwwwwww their cheesecakes are so good you would not believe. They're so creamy yet perfectly tangy too. I was not expecting them to be that delicious at a fruit place but they're incredible. Please go try one. The people who work here are the sweetest and they genuinely work hard to produce these beautiful arrangements. I always come here for a little pick-me-up when I need one. My husband placed an order for my birthday which happened to land on memorial day. He was told it would be delivered on may 25th, however it never arrived because they were closed for memorial day. We received the order today and it is sad. Not worth the 50 dollars he spent on it. It tastes awful. Most likely from it sitting out for a day. The chocolate is wet and soggy. The fuirt is all sour, soggy, and doesn't have a good texture. First time ordering and it will be the last time. read more

My friend surprised me with a delicious arrangement because I was sick and stuck at home. Fruit was all I was craving so it was the perfect gift! Mike, who delivered the arrangement, was extremely communicative, friendly, and prompt. He kept me updated on his eta and was very careful about not ringing our doorbell as my baby was sleeping. Yes !!!!! Oh my gosh this was such a success & they delivered prior to request time & it came out perfectly and the gifted ended up being a hit. My friend absolutely loved it so much. It was delivered which cost $14.99 yes but it was worth every penny to make sure that special someone is happy. I have to be honest a bit skeptical ordering from this location and I'm glad I did. They did it perfectly for me! I ordered online and it's an easy process and jus follow steps and it's super easy. There are so many options and arrangements to choose from but this was totally fun. I got the fire and fruit boutique- orange sizzle. It was costly but I don't do this all the time type gifts. Over 100$. Look for online coupons 1st. Top is what we ordered. Bottom is what we got. Pickup was at 4pm the day after Valentine's Day and it still wasn't ready when my husband went to pick it up. Had to wait 15 mins probably for them to finish throwing my "donuts" together. They are at least tasty but the presentation and lack of customer service is just plain lazy. read more

I originally ordered from a different edible arrangements location but switched over to this Irvine location. I ordered something online at 11AM. I needed it delivered by 3:30 PM that day. All the other stores told me it was too late and impossible. Irvine store did tell me it would not be possible at first but they went thru the effort of trying to make it work for me last minute. They were able to make the delivery that day before 3:30 and it made a world of a difference for me and my situation. It truly made the deal! Thank you for all your thoughtful and professional ways of going above and beyond! The fruit basket was a huge hit! They said all the fruits were absolutely perfect with freshness & chocolates! I definitely will use them again in my time of need for any arrangements. read more

NO STARS! I ordered something for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day and it was NEVER delivered. I didn't even get a courtesy call or email. I ordered last week for a vday delivery to the lady's office....it's 5PM and they still show to be "out for delivery." I've been trying to call the store since 9AM today to see when they are expecting to deliver and it either is busy or no one picks up. Not sure if it's because it's vday that they're "slammed" and can't provide any customer service, but this is pretty poor considering the amount paid for the product, including a premium to deliver on the 14th.... The only savior at this point is if the arrangement has impeccable fruit quality and delivery execution, I would not recommend anyone to order from this location again. Not getting any service is not acceptable. Instead of a surprise, I just had to ask her if she received anything at the office...answer right now is..."no?" ....what a joke. read more

So disappointed at the quality and presentation of this. For the amount you charge for your products this is unacceptable. The strawberries are so small (probably the rejects) and it's so messy looking as though they rushed to make it. I get it's the holidays and they are busy, but there is no excuse to cut corners just to have arrangements done. read more

Be berry happy and bop on over to Northpark Plaza Shopping center, bear (there) (edible arrangements) right next to Starbucks. Went in and immediately upon entering today was greeted and helped immediately by Jamie who was working and helped us above and beyond, amazingly! I've order from this location in the past and everything went berry (very! ) smoothly. Overall my brother and his wife were extremely satisfied with their edible arrangements. I had no idea this location has SMOOTHIES. That's so awesome! You literally build your own smoothie, deciding what the smoothie contains. They have other food items available. Inside the store was immaculate. Very clean, organized and super friendly service. I love how careful employees are and how much attention to detail in the service they provide. The fruit and berries are of utmost excellent quality. They exceed your expectations, these berries are definitely NOT from your local grocery store. Edible arrangement offers different dips for their berries ranging from white chocolate to even pistachios and nuts on the outside of these tasty berries. Also available is caramel chocolate apples, bananas dipped and pineapple. They'll be sure to leave you wanting more. If you don't want an arrangement a box is always sure to satisfy! Perfect for parties, birthdays, baby showers, and special occasions! Jamie immediately helped my daughter and I purchase some berries and balloons. Jamie was very knowledgeable on all the product and was extremely helpful and super friendly! Jamie was so helpful and was interacting with my daughter by providing some coloring sheets! Well my experience with this was not that great! I ordered Flowers and Chocolate covered strawberries, the strawberries were delivered in the morning on Valentine's Day but no flowers. I called to ask about the flowers and was told oh the driver didn't grab the flowers so will just refund the flower cost! No trying to help me and find a solution, I then asked for a manager. Daniel then got on the phone and proceeded to tell me they couldn't do anything for me and would refund me, I then asked that why am I paying the price for your mess up. After going back and fourth he said they would be delivered that day and I had his word. They were delivered at 7:30pm but all the flowers were dead and just gross, I mean it really looked like they came out of the trash can and was put together. I have pics of this and it really made my heart sink. Just not what you would expect from a company like his. Yes they went out of the way to deliver these but they seemed to be a punishment for making them bring what I paid for. read more

They were handing out samples of their hazelnut chocolate bars, and after one bite, I knew I had to step inside to look around and try some more. Such luxuriously rich and smooth chocolate morsels that melt so exquisitely in your mouth (where you can taste and smell the layers of quality ingredients contained in each piece). Really took me back to my last trip to Switzerland when I overindulged in chocolates and fondue (and it was so very worth it). Pricing is by the pound if you get items a la carte. Truffles and pralines are $84 per lb (works out to be average of $3 per piece) and their chocolate bark bars (aka FrischSchoggi) are about $60 to $64 per lb. Otherwise there are prepackaged boxes at set prices ranging from about $20 to $150 and more. Today I sampled the hazelnut chocolate bar, pava praline square, a white chocolate espresso truffle, and a champagne truffle. I ultimately decided to purchase the pava praline set (comes with 8 pieces) and 5 pieces of the white chocolate expresso truffles. Total was just under $40. Truffles came in nicely designed, minimalistic boxes. They are located on the second floor of the Bloomingdale's wing of South Coast Plaza, above Sephora.

Probably the easiest and least horrifying option just to automatically default to is to just park in the overflow lot right next to the plaza. There's no indicator for the parking garage so on a particularly busy day, you can head all the way to the top, find nothing and navigate through the hell crowds trying to leave. Ambiance is a very casual, counter order business in the food court. There's seating there, but we ate really close by. Definitely something you have to eat immediately or the texture will not be optimal or it might get soggy. We got the tiramisu croffle and they toasted it and put it together for us there. The lady working there packed it up nicely in a to go box and we got some cookies (regular ones and almond crisp ones). It's a bit sweet, but they're dessert pastries so that makes sense. Goes great with a brewed cup of tea. Croffle had a nice semi-chewy texture and the tiramisu flavor added a bit of a coffee taste to it. Good balance of the cream and croffle. The cookie wasn't too bad either. Overall not a bad to go dessert spot.

I've patronized this place several times over the years and have been very happy with the chocolates they sell (Royce brand, from Japan). And the gaufres are a favorite. Aside from the Yelp "giveaway" on my latest visit, I also purchased some other boxes of chocolates and cookies as gifts for upcoming birthdays in my extended family. The women working here were amiable - full of smiles - and very helpful in assisting me in choosing the perfect boxes of treats. The quality of the chocolates is exceptionally high. If the box has the name Royce on it, you're going to be happy with what's inside. As with most Japanese products, the packaging is done with care and presentation is visually appealing. You'll find J Sweets at the rear entrance of Mitsuwa in Irvine.

What we bought; 1) I purchased a dark chocolate bar without liqueur - after that tester she gave me, I couldn't resist and I don't regret spending the money on it either. Wow. This is one of those things you hide from the household in hopes that nobody finds it. LOL. Jk. Or am I? 2) mochi cream in strawberry shortcake and double mango. I loved them both. Again, you can really tell the quality in the ingredients used to make their products. Next time I go back, i will definitely buy some Hattendo cream buns, some of their other chocolates that have liqueur, and the mixed packs. J. Sweets was such a special trip for us and the customer service was wonderful. We cannot wait until we go back and stock up on treats again.

This experience just made me prefer takeout more, but I think my tourists wanted air conditioning and there was not enough outdoor seating for our party. Maybe next time I can eat a quantity more befitting of a smaller party.
