Really seriously disappointing. And this isn't the first time this has happened. The Nekter bowls used to cost between eight and nine dollars each. Now my bowl cost $13.00 and I'm getting literally NOTHING more for it. To make matters worse.. today I received my bowl with about 30% of it missing! Just a lot of air on the top third of the container. I suspect this happens when Nekter gets new management and they want to improve the bottom line by shorting everyone by 25% to 30%. Am I going to get a 30% discount on this short-changed product? I seriously doubt it. I've gotten bowls in the past that were so full they almost couldn't put the lid on. This situation is almost as bad as potato chip companies who lie and say the potato chip bag is 1/3 full because of "settling". The only thing that is "settling" here is that some customers are willing to SETTLE for paying overinflated prices and then getting short changed on the product. I asked the Nekter employee why my bowls were 1/3 empty. She proceeded to tell me how she did everything right and said "sometimes it's just like that". I stopped by today around 5 PM and ordered two bowls a Dragon Fruit Bowl and an Acai Mango Bowl. The Acai Mango Bowl had absolutely no mango in it. If you're out of an ingredient, customers should be informed before ordering, or at the very least offered extra fruit as a replacement. Instead, I was charged full price for a bowl missing one of its main ingredients. To make matters worse, the bowl wasn't even full. For the prices being charged, this is completely unacceptable. The staff seemed rushed trying to get orders out before closing at 6 PM, and unfortunately the quality of the food reflected that. The acai was extremely watered down and lacked flavor. I did not go back to have the issue corrected because I live far away, and by the time I realized the mango was missing, the store was already closing at 6 PM. Customers should not have to drive back to fix mistakes that should have been caught before the order was handed out. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Missing ingredients, small portions, and poor quality are not acceptable when customers are paying premium prices. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to others. read more

Stopped by this Nékter location after the sauna next door and ordered a toxin flush and a raspberry smoothie (wasn't on the menu board but she checked and said it's still available!) My smoothie was fine but the toxin flush was the oddest color compared to other locations I've been too. At pickup I asked about the red at the bottom; she said she made beet juice before, rinsed it but it was still there. Honestly I didn't mind and said it was okay, just was curious what happened there. But the green... was just super off I don't even know how to explain. So sad. I've enjoying the banana berry smoothie for at least 10 years. Went to this location and it was terrible so they blamed it on the person who made it and said they didn't work there anymore. Today I ordered it and it had no taste so they remade it and it still had no taste. As in the bigger, the size the more ice. Huge shout out to Jenna !!! I went in and ordered a Popeyes acai.. it was very watery and didn't taste right. When I went back to tell them , Jenna made sure it was made correctly and taught the person who made it what the correct measurements of the ingredients were. Thanks so much Jenna!!!!!!! My daughters have been telling me for years that I should try an açaí bowl, but it never appealed to me. I finally tried one and I have to say it wasn't bad. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION This is the worst juice bar I have ever been to. The online orders I place an hour out are never even started by the time I get there. I am constantly told that they are out of every ingredient in my order. (Why wouldn't they call me instead of waiting for me to find out when i try to pick it up?) They also apparently do not know how to give me a refund for my order when this happens so I have to go through corporate customer service. It is so annoying giving a 20% tip when i place my online order, only to get the absolute worst service when I am there with no ability to adjust the tip. Ridiculous. read more

My friend and I both got açaí bowls but I think they should really be called smoothie bowls. They weren't like typical açaí bowls where the açaí is a bit icier and instead the açaí part of the bowl was super liquidy and almost tasted like if an açaí bowl had melted. It's also a bit pricey compared to other açaí places considering that the other açaí places really pack the bowls with açaí rather than blending the acai with other milks/juices. I am a regular here. When you are always greeted and treated promptly and provide good customer service, anything short of this immediately stands out. Today is 9/25 and I just left Nekter at 12:30. I waited on an empty line for 5 minutes to be helped. The young girl who works here was working with her co-worker, an asian gal. She finally comes over to the cashier to assist me. I noticed she didn't take off her gloves. The same gloves she was using to make smoothies. She took my credit card and swiped it after I ordered and returned to make the drinks with the same gloves she just touched the computer and my credit card with. As a nurse and someone who is pregnant, I pay attention to details such as these as these are not sanitary practices. She wasn't very friendly either as the other employees I encounter at this location. When she gave me my drink I asked, "is this the berry banana burst?" she just says "Yeah" as she's walking away. I stopped by a week ago for a quick juice since I was feeling extremely dehydrated. I had received an email late last year advertising "Student Happy hour" from 1-4pm on weekdays, so you show your student ID and get a discount. It was 12:55 when I got there, raining hard, and the store wasn't super cold (as I usually worn Parker was working the register and I asked whether they were still running this promo. He wasn't sure and checked with his coworkers, then verified they were no longer running it. But, since I'd received the email, he still gave me the discount which I thought was super nice. I usually have to wait at least 5-10 minutes for my juice regardless of how busy they are. This time my drink was ready as soon as I sat down. I'd also asked for extra lemon, and for me that is a ridiculous amount of lemon. Usually, once they give it to me I have to take it back and ask that they add more and more. The parking is always convenient and just overall had a better experience at this location than other Irvine/Tustin locations. I always order the greenie which is a good go to juice. I've been coming to this location for about 7 months and I've never had a complaint, always super nice workers and very good customer service until recently I've noticed a change in management. Over my past few visits I've noticed the change of environment this new manger gives this place, from having to see workers getting mistreated by her, to bad customer service. I've never had a problem with the food and preparation time but I will definitely not be coming back to this location.
