Sigh... where to start? My issue is both due to the Edible Arrangements company as a whole, and the individual store that my order got sent to. I had used this service twice previously with generally good outcomes, and many of the things I noticed recently shows how the company as a whole has gone down bigtime. For certain, I will no longer use them ever again. So, I had placed an order via the EA website for a fruit arrangement, this was the same exact way I did previously, and one interesting/odd thing was that they started allowing for a tip to be added to the service total during the process of ordering. Usually, tips should be done afterwards, at least that's what I remember from previously, but I figured I would go ahead and add a tip beforehand, so that there isn't any hassle during/after the fact. After the order was successfully placed and paid for entirely, I received several emails from the EA company, oddly enough they sent me a recent email with an old order (their system is clearly flawed/lacking). But around the same time they emailed me the current order, so I figured everything was fine. I saw that my order was assigned to this local store in San Gabriel, which made sense since it was the closest to where I wanted the item delivered to. I had placed the order several days prior to when I wanted the delivery, so I was fairly certain there was no issues with timing. Additionally, I knew that it happened to be fairly close to Mother's Day, however my date of delivery was quite a few days prior to Mother's Day, so I figured this should also not be an issue. Reading through some of the reviews about this local store scared me slightly, but based on previous good experiences with EA as a whole, I thought it'd be fine. When the day arrives, I am on the lookout for a confirmation email from the store or company, as I've always seen a confirmation email, none came. So, I wait a day, thinking that the person I sent the item to would let me know about it one way or another. This never happened. So, waiting two days past the delivery date, I ask the person receiving the item if she got something or not, and she said she did not. She did mention that she received a call the day before, but that's it. So, at this point I'm not really certain what to do. I try calling the store first, but the person I spoke with told me that I would need to talk to the manager of the store, which he was not in at the time. So, I went to the EA website and opened a ticket, thinking that would go through corporate people. I received no reply there. Continued trying to call the store, finally on the third call and mentioned to the person I was talking with that I was having extreme difficulties in reaching the store manager, she suggests that perhaps I can email the store directly, which would go to the store manager. So, writing down the email of the store, I go ahead with that idea. Got a reply to the email the next day, the person did not apologize or give a reason for why the service was never carried out, simply told me to call and that it would be re-made and re-sent. However, as it was a birthday gift and timing is somewhat important, I replied saying I didn't want a redo, but rather a full refund. Needed to wait a full 3 days for another reply, and they refunded the money, but only for the base amount, and not the tip amount which I had already paid for as well. Had to go back and forth (with a lot of delays in the replies coming from them) for more than a week only to find out that the store is unable to refund me the tip amount, and that I would need to go through corporate. At this time, I had already opened a dispute with PayPal (as that's what I used for payment), and decided to just let PayPal deal with it from then on. And after a bit of time, PayPal ended up fixing the issue completely for me. Really sad to see this company fall as bad as it has. At no point did anyone from the company contact me with any sort of apology or resolution. And the local store manager is downright terrible. read more

UPDATE. Edible arrangements customer service DOES NOTHING. I emailed twice about this order and issue. They just emailed me back a few weeks later saying the issue was closed. Never got an email from anyone even apologizing. I officially will never spend any money at any edible arrangement locations after this. I advise people not to buy from this location specifically. It's unbelievable the stuff they give paying customers. I really do not know how this location is still open after seeing other reviews. read more

I had used this store in the past for deliveries to friends in Arcadia. Never in the past have I had to explain to the delivery person that the client doesn't always pick up, but they would be home...until today. I got a voicemail from a woman (never identifying herself) saying that she couldn't get in touch with the recipient. I told her that this has never been an issue in the past. She then tells me, "You know this is perishible, right?" Uh...really? Is that what "edible" means? This store rips you off! I called and the manager never responded to me. Find another vendor. They are dishonest with no customer service! I got afraid after reading all the reviews here on Yelp though I will say my experience was a bit different. I ordered online and had same day delivery (which was $15, yeah it's not cheap.) I was surprised to have it delivered within three hours and I got exactly what was expected. Fruits looked fresh and cut into the shapes that it was supposed to be. I was TRULY disappointed!!! The pictures are down below. What they advertise does not look like what they sent. I got the LARGE sweet snowmen fruits and chocolate arrangement. I was expecting for a cute arrangement but they delivered a wacky cuts of fruit with skewers. Nothing was proportional and they were all oddly shaped. If I wanted something like this, I would have asked a child. This cost $150 total, but it doesn't even look professionally done. The entire business is cutting fruit and putting it into a beautiful arrangement, you have one job. Might as well rebrand as JUST EDIBLE.... To dampen the situation even more, I sent this to one of the doctors that treated my dad for covid-19. They were beyond helpful and are working the frontlines! Overall, I just was disappointed. Birthday FAIL! I sent my 2 year old nephew a birthday package with an edible arrangement, teddy bear and balloon on April 1. They only delivered the edible arrangement without teddy bear or balloon. My sister in law sent me a picture of the arrangement but not the bear or the balloon. My mother had bought an arrangement for my birthday today and wanted to originally surprise me at my job with it , paid the extra for delivery of course and even told them what it was for . The big guy who delivered the arrangement was first off LATE 40 MINS , second rude as hell to my mom and had an attitude because HE was late ? Clearly on the paper it says before 2:00 . He was then arguing with my mom that he didn't want to drop it off at our house . I think if she paid money to have an order taken to a spot AND with a time frame that was set which wasn't met and he didn't call in advance as well , he should go out of his way to drop it off max 7-8 mins away to make up for the "silly" mistake . This location is the worst I've been to. All the others I've been to are great. Came in today for the Monday-Friday 3-5pm BOGO of smoothies or fruit cups. Employee called the manager George who said I could only do smoothies. I spoke with him and let him know it's on the website for the fruit cups as well. He said he'd do a "one time" for me because he wasn't aware of it. I've now been here for 35 minutes (10 of those waiting for the employee to finish an order) the other 20 minutes waiting on my order OH and there's no AC in the front of the store. I had a horrible experience last month ordering a fruit arrangement. I made an order over the phone to get an arrangement for someone at work who lost their loved one. The lady who answered the phone took a while to take my information (I repeated my email address three times). When I asked my total I was told it will be $92 dlls, then when I checked my bank account I was charged $107. I called back and I asked why? The lady said it was because of delivery charges, which she never mentioned when she gave me the total amount (she didn't even apologize) I requested a receipt by email with the breakdown of the charges. Long story short, never got the email, I sent an email to cooperate to request one two weeks ago and haven't get a reply. In addition, the driver got late and requested for someone to go out of the office and pickup the arrangement from him. I used to love this location. It's really close to my kids' daycare and all I have to do is place my order in the morning, then go pickup the arrangement in the early evening before picking up my kids and dropping it off to the teachers. I've done this for about 2-3 years for the teachers birthdays and other special occasions for the teachers. The service was always great. The guy there that always helps me had great customer service. However, the past 5 orders in the past 6 months have been a disappointment. I don't remember seeing the guy there for at least 6 months. Each time, my order is never ready on time and I always select the pickup time an hour before I'll actually pickup. The order must be ready because I have to pickup my kids right after. They always tell me to wait another 10-15 minutes because the chocolate on the fruit hasn't dried yet. WTF?! My order was supposed to be ready an hour before. Why is the order still not ready an hour later and I have to wait 10-15 minutes?! Ridiculous! This has happened the past 5 times. Oh, not to mention the yelp check on offer. They will give you a box of 6 CT chocolate dipped fruit for checking in. I think so far, I've only got them yesterday. All the other times, they'll tell me it's not ready yet.another time, they told me to call ahead that I'll be using the check in offer when I pickup. Fair enough. I did that and my order still isn't ready! Once last thing. They always run out of fruit. Really?! They've changed my orders so many times because they with ran out of watermelon, strawberries, or caramel. Wth?!
