My husband and I came here last Saturday for dinner. This place was recommended by a friend I made on the flight here (thank you!). I am SO glad we came here. One of the best meals I have ever had period!! Cabo has become way too Americanized and we were really searching for something authentic and this place hits the nail on the head. The ambiance and flare are spot on. We had the shrimp, lobster and steak with Cesar salad..simply divine! They make the cesar salad dressing from scratch in front of you. The margarita will knock you on your feet! Very strong so beware! There was mariachi singers and even the restrooms were authentic. The food tho..even the bread and veges were divine! Absolutely amazing experience!!!! Edith's was highly recommended by a friend as the one place to not miss a meal at in Cabo!!! I made reservations about 4 wks morning in advance through their website. I did call a couple days in advance and it was all set. We arrived about 15 mins early and was pleasantly seated right away. Service was excellent from beginning to end. Victor was our waiter and he had another guy that assisted him. Drink & appetizer came fast but never rushed. Victor made some great recommendations that we took. We ordered one of the nightly specials that was a thick cut Ribeye, 2 lobster tails, and 2 skewers of large shrimps grilled. We had the Caesar salad made table side that was delish!!! The croutons on salad were amazing!!! We had 3 rounds of passion fruit Margaritas that were best I've ever had. The chef Leo accommodated our request to butterfly the steak (since it was so thick) and cooked a perfectly medium & well done side for each of us. He visited our table to ensure we were satisfied and that was great. The mariachi band roamed around playing music throughout the meal and it just made for a great atmosphere and dinner experience. We were really looking forward to dessert and the Mexican coffee but was so stuffed from the meal we didn't dare. I am now back home in Las Vegas and wishing I had just ordered and tasted because it looked so good at other tables. Edith's is a must have when in Cabo and we definitely will be back on next trip. It was pricy but worth every single dollar for food quality, taste & service. We paid in pesos and it was about $260 plus tip which we generously gave. They also called a nice cab for us to return to resort we were staying at in outskirts that didn't over charge us. I will be back & again huge thank you to Victor & Chef Leo!!!! read more

My wife and I got married in Cabo just over a year ago, and went went down a few days before everyone came into town so we could enjoy some time alone before the wedding craziness started. We had both heard great things about Edith's and decided it would be our big romantic dinner alone. We walked in and were immediately greater and asked if we had made a reservation, which we had, and were lead back to our table. Edith's is a semi indoor, where some tables are under a large palapa and others are out in the garden. For being right off the street, you would never know you were, it is like sitting in the middle of a lush tropical garden. When you walk in you smell the food on the wood fired grill and you start to drool thinking of the meal ahead. My wife and I both started off with a margarita, it is one of our favorite cocktails, and it was delicious. You could taste how fresh the ingredients were. While enjoying our drinks our waiter came to the table with the nights protein options. Everything from perfectly aged streaks, to jumbo prawns and the fresh catch of the day. Being from the west coast originally, and not having the plethora of fresh seafood here in Austin, I went with the grilled fresh ahi, and my wife went with the other fresh catch of the day option, sea bass. both were served with fresh veggies and rice. The fish was grilled to perfection and the sides were delicious and light. For dessert we spilt the pineapple pie, and is was amazing. I had never heard of pineapple pie before, but it quickly has become one of my favorite pies. On our way out, my wife realized she had left her clutch at the table, and we quickly went back to get it. It was waiting safely at the front desk and they even asked me to describe it before saying they had it and giving it back to us. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better dinner, great atmosphere, great service and great food. We will being going back to Edith's next time we go to Cabo. read more

Not even once we were asked if there is anything we need. The guy that does banana flambé Juan was fun and attentive. Will I come here again, well probably not. Baja shrimp was my favorite. My daughter ordered chicken and it was amazing and my hubby got the filet mignon which was incredible! Don't forget the banana dessert! Or the margaritas! First time at Edith's and it did not disappoint, we started with a Dozen oysters on half shell that were delicious. We then moved on to Caesar Salad made table-side that was just perfect. This place is incredible! You never know what you'll get when you're vacationing out of the country, but Edith's was an outstanding experience, from ambiance to decor to entertainment to food to value. Each seat has an authentic looking poncho in case you get cold, which makes for great photo opps. Plus, the mariachi band that comes from table to table is really talented but also not too intrusive if you tell them you're not interested. We got: - Aztec soup - the best tortilla soup I've ever had. Not sure why all the other versions I've tried have been chunky/creamy, but this one is a clearer broth and super delicious. Must try. - Seared ahi tuna with grilled vegetables - this was a HUGE chunk of ahi tuna that was beautifully seared with an amazing grilled/smoky flavor. I'm not sure if this is on the menu regularly, but you can always ask. - Combo fajitas - of course these tasted great, but I was a little disappointed by the homemade tortillas. Overall this was a 5 star experience, and the seared tuna was out of this world. Get it if you can! Great for groups or couples - the restaurant is huge. Make sure you make a reservation. read more

Either we visited on a really off night, or they are coasting on past glories. The greeter did not greet us, we required a six digit code to prove our bona fides, and the whole process seemed more like getting a loan than entering a restaurant. The waiter came around with the tray of meats and fish, which was impressive, but he seemed most interested in suggesting the most expensive combinations he could find, some of which really rose into the stratosphere. We ordered, with the highly recommended Caesar Salad as our appetizer. The waiter appeared about 20 seconds later to start building the salad. He did a good job, took his time, and the salad was good. But the whole thing felt rather ungracious. You usually have a little time to talk and look around before you launch into the meal. The entrees arrived maybe 5 or 10 minutes after we finished the salad. Again, feeling rushed and as if we were dining on a conveyor line. The much-ballyhooed Baja Shrimp were nothing much. The shrimp was seasoned outside the shell. Inside, the shrimp were bland and tasteless. My wife's Mojito was practically rum-free, my gin and tonic seemed to be pure gin. And it was quite expensive, particularly for the quality of food and service. read more

Wow! What an incredible experience that I won't forget. Went their for dessert at 9:30. Didn't get seated until 10:10 and there were tables opening up. The minute we told our waiter that we were only there for dessert his attitude went to shit. He started yanking the plates and glassware off the table and disappeared for 10 minutes. The rest of the time there was horrible. For a 5 star restaurant we got a 1 star experience. Won't ever go back there and we are in Cabo every year nor will I recommend this place to anyone ever again! read more

Amazing food and decor! The open air restaurant and the decor is so fun! Hanging lanterns, glass chandeliers, etc, amazing ambiance. They have ponchos on the seats so if you get cold you can put it on. The surf and turf of filet and lobster was cooked perfectly. They cut the lobster out of the tail table side. Served with melted butter, tasty mushroom sauce and truffle mashed potatoes. Large enough for 2 people to split. The Cesar salad is made table side and the dressing is made as you watch. Delicious and fresh! Save room for dessert and to be entertained with flames! Order the bananas foster! Yum! Drinks are large and they pour strong! Can't wait to go back! read more

Edith's is very expensive compared to any other restaurant in Cabo. The food is just ok, the seafood options are good but you should stick to ordered steak back in the U.S. The seafood plate is very large portion and could be split by 2 people. I personally enjoyed the Baja shrimp. My sister ordered the shrimp pasta which was also decent, but not much flavor. On another note, wait staff was very good! read more

Absolute Best food we had in Cabo. There is a reason why you MUST have reservations to get into this place. And don't think reserving the day of , or day before will get you a table between 5pm and 9pm. BOOK EARLY ! Very Extensive menu. Incredibly fresh seafoods, steaks, etc... On the higher end price-wise, but the quality is second to none. If you want a real authentic Mexican dish that has a variety of flavors, don't hesitate with ordering the Pancho Villa.
