I have been going to this place for over 20 years! They always have a large selection of great donuts, as well as sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can't help but enjoy the 100s of cookie jars collected and displayed in the shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is friendly and prices are great.

Love The Cookies Here! SITREP Ever see a bakery storefront with all the yummies in the window displays and you just say to yourself, "Oh my GAWD, this is making me hungry!" Well, yeah, that's what Edmonds Bakery does to ya! THE SETUP We were just strolling down the street, but as luck would have it, once I laid eyes on this scrumptious bakery, suddenly a NEED was fulfilled for the housewarming party I was gonna go to for a St. Patrick's Day celebration! And YES, Clover style cookies where part of the order of the day! THE LOWDOWN Edmonds Bakery is really adept at making Holiday cookies, ANY Holiday, ANY Season of the year, for ANY party you want to inspire with these edible creations!

When in Edmonds don't miss this historical bakery that is over 100 years old. Homemade old fashioned, cruller, cake doughnuts, spritz cookies, eclairs, Danish, molasses cookies, macaroons, oatmeal raisin colored, canolis and more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The over 300 vintage cookie jars add to the charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The friendly staff make you feel welcome and are happy to help. We found ourselves going back to the counter over and over again because we had to try it all. We were visiting Seattle for the holidays and drove back to this bakery 3x in 7 days. What are you waiting for?

We absolutely love Edmonds Bakery! We get a small replica of our wedding cake made every year for our anniversary and it is always delicious, absolutely stunning, and the service is always top notch. 10000/10 would recommend

Mr & Mrs Strong cutting the beautiful 2nd creation. Thank you Edmonds Bakery.

Fire. I love these donuts. They were a little stale one time but it's very rare and still good. I was probably just late that day

Good pastries, nice staff, and free roll for kids!…read more Our experience was great. They gave coupons the first two times we went. One for a free pastry next visit and after we used that they gave a coupon for a free bread loaf the next visit. The pastries are really high quality and creative, like the cottage coins(?) and the rye chocolate chip cookie.

I've visited The Cottage a couple more times, along with visiting plenty of other Seattle-area…read morebakeries, and I unfortunately no longer think they are top tier. I'm not sure if it's because something changed on the side of the bakery (maybe recipe or personnel changes?) or on my side, having tried more bakeries around the area. On our last visit we bought two loaves of bread to accompany a butter tasting. Both loaves I found to be not nearly as high quality as I remember previously. Pane Bello ($9) - The crust basically doesn't exist in this bread. It's soft and leathery and doesn't give that satisfying crispness of a well baked bread. The interior, while having good crumb structure, is particularly dry and almost crumbly. The taste is mild, perfect for pairing with higher end butters. (3/5) Parmesan Black Pepper Sourdough ($9) - This batard has similar texture as compared to the Pane Bello. It has the addition of plenty of black pepper baked inside, spaced out rather evenly, allowing a peppery bite every time. There's salty and fatty parmesan baked on top, giving a caramelized salty umami. It definitely has more flavor than the Pane Bello, but suffers from the same textural issues. (3/5) We purchased both loaves at 10AM on a Sunday morning and they were consumed within 2.5 hours, so I don't think it's an issue with storage. I ate a bit of their regular foccacia at a work event too. It has a good crispy exterior and is salted well on the top. Unfortunately the interior isn't the best, having a really dense, chewy crumb. I'm honestly not sure what happened. I really loved The Cottage when I first moved here 1.5 years ago. Now? I have a number of bakeries I'd choose over here in a heartbeat.

The fact that you can actually see the kitchen and staff first thing in the morning through the window is so humanizing and really makes you understand that you're supporting peoples dreams and pursuits. I come early in the morning when they first open so the vibes are always calm which is nice. I would definitely recommend getting daily pastries instead of other places like starbucks which prepackage every item in plastic. The prices are similar enough and the quality is just so much better here! I bout a bakers dozen the other day for a coworkers last day and they lasted less than 15 mins before people couldn't restrain themselves.

They offer a great variety of unique pastries, including the trendy flat croissant. While the flat croissant was fun to try and very crispy, I still prefer the traditional style. The pistachio croissant and Hokkaido cheese danish were my personal favorites because they were incredibly fresh, flaky, and buttery. Besides the treats, they have a solid selection of coffee and milk teas. The interior is spacious, and the staff is both quick and friendly.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with cozy vibes. They have a lot of different coffee and pastries. We got a variety of pastries to try. First was the cinnamon roll, we had it warmed up at home and it still tasted super fresh and delicious. The M&M's cookie was huge, not too sweet, perfectly soft and crunchy. The other pastries we had was raspberry croissant, and a muffin, all tasted pretty good. I think all their pastries are fresh, delicious, and not that sweet compared to other bakeries. I highly recommend getting their cinnamon roll. This cafe is perfect for the all seasons especially summer if you want to sit outside and enjoy the view of downtown Edmonds. They have plenty of seatings inside and outdoor. Parking is limited since it's downtown Edmonds so it's a bit challenging but it's worth it because you get to enjoy fresh pastries and you can also have a nice walk down to the beautiful town and beach after.
