I had my first experience with Edna's Cleaning today and I am so pleased! Edna was recommended by my apartment complex and I needed a deep clean before the holidays. I called Edna yesterday and she came over this morning! Such fast service! Edna is so kind! She had two very nice staff members with her and my studio apartment was finished within 90 minutes. The sinks sparkle, my tub is shiny, everything is dusted, my floors shine, the stove is degreased, and my fridge is smudge free. My apartment looks amazing! Perfect before the holidays. AWFUL!!! She expressly said she does not charge by the hour, and she only leaves when the job is done....then came early to pick up her two employees and said "they're finished, 2-3 hours each at $20 hour, I make no money so they have to go" . She said they would do a deep clean of the cabinets to a half-empty apartment with only some furniture and it was half-assed. Terrible job. DO NOT HIRE. read more

This is my first time hiring someone to come clean my house and I must say that I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. First of all I have to say that I hired Edna because there is a lot of dust and spider webs in my house and my son has been suffering from allergies. Edna came to see my small house (as she stated) and quoted me a price for a deep cleaning and I agreed because she said that it would include the cleaning of my walls and doors. After her work was done my sons room still had spider webs on all the corners. My daughters room was barely even touched. Her dresser was not even cleaned, the walls were still full of dust and spider webs. Non of my cabinets from my kitchen or my two bathrooms were cleaned at all. We called her to let her know that we were not satisfied with her work and she agreed to come back and finish the job. That was even worst...... She left dust all over my daughters bed, my bedroom had big pieces of accumulated dust all over the floor. I removed the books off my bookshelf and asked her to dust it and she did a very poor job and did not even place any of the items back in their place. Before she left I asked what was her definition of deep cleaning (because maybe I had just misunderstood what was included in our agreement) She said " Deep cleaning entails cleaning the walls, the borders, doors, dusting furniture and cleaning the bathrooms". She then went on to insult me by saying " well to be honest your house is really dirty. As for your daughters room, I didn't want to touch her things because she seems to look like she is a very delicate girl". Of course I know my house was not clean, that's why I hired her. As for my daughter she was not even around long enough for her to judge her character. To be honest, it took a lot out of me to agree that my husband hire someone to come and help me and this is why. In the end I feel that I paid too much ($220 to be exact) for someone to come and clean my bathroom, vacuum 3 small rooms and clean my kitchen and my windows. I DO NOT RECOMMED HER!!!! SHE WAS UNPROFESSIONAL AND DID A HORRIBLE JOB!!!!! read more
