Food is good. Don't bother writing instructions if you order via yelp they wont read it. I wrote less sauce, no wasabi, no crab. And none of it was omitted. Oh well just gott scrape it off. read more

Edohana in Grapevine is terrible. We went to get hibachi. We were seated and waiting for other members in our party. A roach ran out across they grill and had no fear. The best way to describe this place is quantity over quality. You get a good amount of food for what you pay, but it's not the best quality fish out there. The tuna sashimi melted in our mouths, but the salmon and red snapper were chewy and tough to eat. The spicy salmon roll was just OK flavour wise, and it could've used more spice. The Special Albacore roll was our favourite, but it still left a fishy aftertaste. I tend to lean more towards raw fish centric dishes and rolls, so I didn't try any of their entrees, fried rolls, etc. If you're looking for more of the latter, then this place might be more up your alley. read more

Everything was very salty. Nice show, but too much food! Young people love it. Needs up-dating.

Sushi was pretty good and I appreciate that they have a "rice less sushi" section on the menu. However they over did it with the cucumber wrapping and crab meat I think. Our 3 dishes came out at three separate times which was upsetting and apparently there was a delay in the kitchen. Our waiter was very kind though. Ambiance was eh. My absolute favorite sushi restaurant around! Great service, excellent food! They remember you and greer you like family.

We came here spur of the moment for a week day date night and this place is pretty good for that. The nigiri style salmon was excellent. Well also ordered a dragon roll which was decent and a spicey salmon roll which I would not recommend. The rice on both the rolls was excellently cooked and had a hint of sessame. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere, which was cozy, was perfect for a week day date. The location of this place is nice as well as there is a trinity trail entrance less than 100 yards away which makes for a great post dinner date walk. read more

The sign on the door says that their mid-day closing is at 2:30 pm. I arrived at 2:15 today and they would not serve me.

We found this little hole in the wall while visiting Fort Worth and what a find it was! We didn't expect much as it is a small place in a strip mall but the experience was awesome. Our server was great and the guy I presume is the manager was great as well. They both consistently checked in on us and saw how we were doing and if we needed anything else. They also made sure our drinks never got empty which is a rare now a days. The place is small, I think I counted 9 tables total with some seating at the bar so there might be a slight wait like we had but IT WAS worth it! The rolls were great! We had the Philly, Rainbow, Caterpillar and Temptation (Cravings) roll and they were delicious, especially the Temptation roll!!! I would drive an hour from Frisco again just for that roll!!! If your in Fort Worth I would definitely recommend this place. read more

There's not a damn thing on the menu I wouldn't eat. Great selection of rolls. They've got Fuji Apple Sake, which I've devoted my life for the next few days trying to find. Goody Goody Liquor had Lychee sake, but it was hardly a substitute. Delicious, but $7 a glass! Kind of a tight location. Expect waiting times during weekends. Great, friendly staff. I took a chance and ordered the sashimi sampler. I was completely blown away. The fish was so tender and fresh. Nothing like the sushi or sashimi found in the grocery stores. My friend had the noodles and shrimp. This is the first time the veggies and noodles were served am dente. So much healthier when all the nutrients are still intact. To finish off dinner we decided to split a dessert. It was coconut sweetened rice with lung beans and mango. This fish is served hot and was simply to die for. Sushi and sake was good and staff was friendly- I wouldn't say it was super authentic but better than most around the area! Not sure if it's just the rolls I ordered, but they were huge, so you may ask for them to be sliced smaller if you enjoy a one-bite. read more

On vacation visiting a friend in Fort Worth, I stumbled across this sushi place because of its close proximity to where I'm staying. I love sushi and frequently have it so I had to try a place out here. I was not disappointed! It's a small restaurant located in a strip mall. The interior is very nice and clean. I sat at the bar and I was excited to see all the options of rolls on the menu, plus there are chefs specials written on the chalk board behind the bar. The Pink Panther caught my eye! It was very delicious. If you enjoy fresh salmon in your roll, than I highly recommend it. I also had a seaweed salad to go with it. Although I wish I could try every single roll on the menu, I was very happy with my decision. The chef was very sweet and made me a sample of the "cutie" which was spicy crabmeat wrapped in cucumber. Although the place is small, they try their best to seat people at distance. It's almost packed though especially on the weekends since school is back up. Employees wear masks. Besides that, a good time to go would probably be during the week. Lots of college students come here so beware if there's a lot of people. Can't forget about HAPPY HOUR on Thursday nights at 9pm. I got a Cali roll for only $3 !! The food comes out super fast and always fresh. I'm picky when it comes to my sushi joints. Or maybe I'm just cheap. If it doesn't have a regular happy hour, I'm already feeling sad. I wasn't starving when I came here for dinner, so I just got two hand rolls, one tuna and one salmon. The waiter asked if I wanted to dress it up with cucumber and avocado, and I said yes, but when they came out they only had added cucumber. I decided I didn't care enough to point it out, since we were kind of in a hurry. The tuna was just okay, honestly. I am, however, a sucker for good salmon, and the salmon was just that - good, buttery, delicious. However, the hand rolls were $6 a piece - what?! It seemed a little steep to me. Maybe I've just been lucky in the past, but hand rolls typically drop in price about $2 in relation to their "roll", if that makes sense. It's less food but still tasty, so hand rolls are typically my go to if I don't want to commit to an entire sushi roll. So, the fact that the two were the same price kind of baffled me. All in all, not bad, but I felt like I could have gotten more food for far less $$$ by going anywhere else with a happy hour. read more

I ordered a California roll, the butterfly kiss, the Edohana roll, and two pieces of red snapper (sashimi). The price totaled about 39$. I recommend trying Edohana Sushj! So I'm not sure how this restaurant has a 4 star rating, but it definitely should be 2.5/3. 1. It's not a regular hibachi place. They cook the hibachi food in the kitchen and it wasn't cooked in front of me like I expected. 2. The hibachi was bland! Literally nothing had seasoning or taste. The miso soup literally didn't taste like anything. I ordered the fillet mignon and scallop. They didn't even put salt or pepper on the steak or scallops, the fried rice didn't have flavor. SOOOOOOO BLAND. They didn't have yum yum sauce which I thought was weird and the garlic sauce was not that tasty. The garlic sauce looked like gravy. 3. The service was bad. I honestly felt sorry for the server because she was the only one running food and taking orders. It's also very obvious that they are understaffed as the workers frantically run around -- and there's a crazy long wait for your food to arrive. The spicy tuna mix in my tuna spicey rainbow roll was fine it was all of the sushi pieces that seemed to be a lesser quality. Each piece was real chewy was not all smooth in texture as in the past. Hate to give this place a bad review, but the sushi just didn't taste right. My husband and I ordered the boat for two, so we got an assortment of sashimi and rolls. We're both originally from Hawaii, so maybe we just had higher expectations when it comes to the quality of fish. But for the price we paid, I would've expected more. I tried sushi from Eatzi's the other day and rather eat the rolls from there instead of the rolls we had. The presentation was nice though. We went on a Thursday night and the place was pretty busy. The food is average but the service is awful. Our water glasses were always empty and continuously had to ask for them to be filled up. We also asked the waitress about what the splitting a meal entailed and she repeatedly said it's only 10.95 to split. She said it would be only 10.95 each. We also ask would we get charged for the meal also and the 10.95 and she said no. We then receive our checks and did get charged for both. The manager would not change the check prices after we were miss informed by the waitress of the split charge. Also the bus boy is a homie. He's the only nice human in this establishment. read more
