The open kitchen is cool to watch and the Texas Bull roll is legit, packed with flavor and the shrimp were fresh. Late night hours are a plus when everything else is closed. Portions are generous and prices are fair for what you get. Only giving 4 stars because the fried rice was a bit bland and service was slow even though it wasn't packed. On a Friday evening it was very empty. I would score the atmosphere very low. When you first walk in you order at the counter. Similarly to fast food you walk your drinks and table number to your table. Our order took a really long time. We were a party of five and they combined many rolls on the same plates which made it very difficult! We had no plates the servers would drop off and scurry away so fast we couldn't ask for plates or the names of each roll. Eventually we got plates but still rolls falling apart in the process of moving them to the right person. It was rather annoying to have tipped generously at the counter before we knew they were utterly useless and didn't deserve anything. You literally do everything and they avoid guests. As soon as I walked into the place it smell amazing. This place has a nice vibe to it the menu was pretty large that you can see from my pictures but I end up choosing the chicken and shrimp meal and it came with soup, salad a lot of things. So from a meal I ordered the clear suit which is a chicken broth and it came to the table smelling good you can smell the seasoning mom and it tasted very good especially on a leaving like this where it's very cool outside. A meal came out the chicken and shrimp with the vegetables I didn't order any Rice and noodles. However they cook the vegetables it was purple and they were flavorful they went dry it up just perfect and the chicken shrimp was so doggone tender and good. The absolute worst service in Fort Worth. Ordered the hibachi steak medium and it came out well done. Burnt. The guy "chef" was dealing with another upset customer at the counter and our main dish took for ever to come out and when we inquired as to what was taking sooo long he got an attitude. I really wanted to give this place a chance as it was described as casual. I had my eyes on this place for two years. I've had sushi from very questionable places before including Kroger, the Chinese buffet, and Japan House just to name a few and none have made me ill- but this place showed me what a bad choice can lead to. I ordered a miso soup. Can't really mess up too bad there. Well first its served in these plastic coconut cups. I immediately notice the edges on the cup where the plastic is disintegrating. I still consumed it because just maybe consuming micro plastic was worth it. No, pass on the bland miso. Then our table ordered two orders of fries. One came shortly but the second took forever. The fries, thin, bland unseasoned and even after adding salt were not good. I did not eat them. Then came the sushi. I ordered one kind and my kid ordered another different roll. It was brought out at the end and altogether on one plate. So now my kid is sitting across the table and I'm having to reach over so I can take my piece with a fork because they did not provide chop sticks. Also I had to place my sushi on the plate of fries because they did not provide plates. The sushi did not taste fresh at all, it was rubbery and had an intense sesame oil taste. My son and I came here at the recommendation of our hospitality host at our hotel. My son and I showed up and were greeted by Mia. She informed us we couldn't get a hibachi table like we had hoped but her kindness and sweet disposition made up for our disappointment. My son ordered a salmon bento and I ordered steak hibachi. We opted to sit at a booth but my son ended up at the sushj bar as he watched Junior chef it up. He made for great company and come to find out he is from SoCal which is pretty awesome because we are from central CA. He even made my son a tasty tempura cheesecake. The food was really good. Let me start by saying this absolute trash heap of a restaurant should be shut down. Not tomorrow -- yesterday. I've eaten at dive bars, food trucks, gas stations -- hell, I've had prison food that tasted better and came with better service than this disgrace of a place. When we walked in, not a single table was clean. It looked like a damn food fight had broken out an hour before and no one bothered to clean it up. We had to wipe down our own table just to sit. No joke. Grabbed napkins and whatever scraps we could find to make it remotely usable because the staff clearly couldn't care less. Nobody greeted us. Nobody spoke to us. Nobody looked like they had any interest in doing their job. It was like walking into a room full of people who lost a bet and were forced to work there. Absolute zombies behind the counter, and not the fun movie kind -- the dead-eyed, zero-effort, "I hate my life" type. I tried asking for a manager and guess what? No manager on duty. No apology. No explanation. Just blank stares and attitude. We waited forever for our food. Meanwhile, the group that came in after us got their food first. So either they're picking favorites or the kitchen's run by goldfish with dementia. And when the food finally came? It was garbage. Literal trash. The sushi smelled like it had been sitting in a dumpster under the sun, soaked in sadness and salmonella. One bite and I thought I was going to puke. I've had diarrhea that felt more luxurious than what I was served. And the price? Seventy fing dollars.* For what? Slop on a plate? That's robbery. Straight up. I've had better luck with microwave meals -- at least those don't smell like roadkill. We left angry, disgusted, and insulted. This place has the audacity to stay open until 4AM? Why? So more people can suffer this culinary war crime? It shouldn't be open until 4AM -- it shouldn't be open at all. Shut the doors. Burn the building. Start over. Also, having to order at the counter at a place that calls itself a "4-star" restaurant? That's a joke. This isn't a restaurant. It's a scam with chairs. And sticky ones at that. The whole place was filthy, disorganized, and straight-up embarrassing. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. If someone forced me to eat there again, I'd rather starve. If I wanted to feel disrespected, ripped off, and borderline poisoned, I'd go back. But I don't. Ever. I hope the health department pays them a visit -- soon. Never again. Not if it was free. We waited 2 hours to get served and then only to get bs portions for overcooked steak that we had to remind the chef to get for us after reading he read the order back twice. They really deserve a 5 start but a few reasons they can make it better! Before that the decor on the walls are interesting to look at and the seating Is comfortable and unique! The first time we tired them was at 2am in the morning. I love they are open super late on a Friday for those late night munchies. Service was good, ordered easy, helpful since it was our first time , took a bit it was packed but overall delicious! Second time we went it was on a Tuesday evening about 6p only a few people there. Lady taking the order wasn't in the mood to be there. Food took forever and it was hot in there like if the ac wasn't working right or they had the temp at 75. Tried the order online for a pick up from their website Fail: The online menu and ordering process told me 645pm for a pickup on a Friday night, not crowded at all. 6 tables only with 12 people in the restaurant When I approached the counter at 645, they didn't my order, in fact they had to look it up, and then they processed the order, which now is 710, and they processed to tell me that they didn't miss the ticket, but why wasn't it printed, and they had to reprint for the kitchen. The manager on duty tried to fix the problem on me, saying that they will prepare the meal to meet 710... Nuts ... Will not be a next time and I don't recommend this place unless you have the munchies at 1am... Which they are open. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

This place is a conundrum. Excellent food, fun and very able Hibachi chef. But the place itself needs improvements. When the entrees are going for $20-$50 bucks it would help to use proper cloth or dining paper napkins instead institution type bathroom napkins. The plates need to be better washed or replaced. I used a slice of lemon to degrease mine. My wife had the Hibachi Shrimp with fried rice, salad and edamame as an appetizer. I had the Hibachi Mixed Vegetables with fried rice and clear soup. The soup tasted like liquid smoke was added to it, very different but not bad. The shrimp was delicious, the fried rice was cooked perfectly no extra soy sauce needed. The vegetables were so on point. Kudos to Luis our Chef, he was very entertaining and knew what he was doing. We will be going back for the sushi. read more
