I visited this place multiple times as the value and variety of the food are great! Simple will be the word to describe the environment. The staffs are friendly who will greet you when you enter and exit. Food that I have tried and remembered Lobster Dynamite is a must - try dish! Delicious and the portion is good. Temptation Roll is nice, the ebi is crunchy and I like the taste of the sushi with cream cheese. Green Hulk Roll, the sushi is covered with avocado and I like it, makes it feel healthier. Ahi Tower, it was good but the portion was little compare to other restaurant I tried and it was not filling. Spicy Tuna Rainbow, I like the mild spiciness of the tuna. It's taste just nice when dip into soy sauce with some wasabi. Crunchy Salmon Roll, like the combination in the roll with cheese and avocado. it was mild spicy and does not taste oily. Edohana Fire Roll, crunchy!! Fish Katsu Bento, Tonkatsu Bento, Sashimi Bento and Chicken Katsu are great for it value and serve with tempura. But sometimes the meat could be too dry, overcooked. We love their bento boxes; tasty and a variety of bit of everything makes it great! As for the sushi and rolls, it varies... Usually the fish is pretty fresh, but once or twice, we can tell there is a difference in the quality of freshness. Or maybe it also depends on the sushi chef, because the thickness of the cut is not always as generous as we would like. But hey, the price isn't bad at all though. I LOVE EDOHANA!!! I never wanted to try sushi but my boyfriend made me try it here and honestly I'm so glad he did!!! I love coming here! My favorite is the temptation roll and on the border. If you've never had sushi those are good to start off with. Everyone's favorite is the temptation roll, so good!!! After my first visits we started riding more things on the menu which are just as good! The staff is very nice and welcoming. Great place to get a quick bite. A kind Korean family runs this location. I haven't tried the other location in Grapevine though. Sushi is pretty good but Ofcourse nothing compares to Sano in Milbrae California. Servicr is fast and friendly. Price is very affordable. I had a dragon roll and tempura appetizer with only a total of $17 for dinner with tip. This might be one of my to go places for dinner I I just want to take it to go and eat the hotel. I am a fan of this place! I know, it is not authentic. However, the price and the quality of food makes up for it! The difference between tonkatsu from authentic Japanese restaurant and Korean owned is the slice of the meat. Here, the meat is sliced thin and deep-fried until really brown. However, it is still flavorful and I heartily recommend it. Not as good as Ino Bistro though! The unagi bowl is also good, but I think the portion is a bit stingy. The bento is very delicious and the portion huge! I can't complain, since it usually costs me under $10. read more

Very tasty spot! I came and tried two sushi rolls. I had the Crunchy Roll and the Crunchy Salmon Roll. Both were very tasty. I recommend the Crunchy Roll for sure. The service was good. Prices are reasonable, the sushi is mediocre but if you need a fix it will do that job. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is the staff. We were not welcomed when we walked in and the cashier (lady) had a piss poor attitude. Also, they don't use gloves to prepare the sushi and I saw one of the sushi chefs go to the restroom, I'm not saying he didn't wash his hands but he had to grad the doorknob on the way out of the restroom and who knows how much fecal matter is there, then there he goes back to work, making rolls w/o gloves. This sushi was really not good. Something was really wrong with the rice. It tasted off and seemed stale or old, like it was yesterday's. The rolls would fall apart every time you picked up a piece. My husband and I actually really like this place a lot. The prices are great with a bit of everything for everyone from bentonite to fried rice. I always get the bulgolgi (I think that's how you spell it) bento box which is very good and husband always gets Combo C which is all sashimi. He thinks the fish tastes fresh. Although there are some more expensive rolls there's actually some pretty decent rolls at an affordable price if you're patient enough to look at the menu. One Vento, one Combo and a roll sets back around 23$ and that's us being gluttonous. You order at the counter and then pick a table to eat at. First off, this location is very small and the restroom was horrible! You can literally smell it from the seating area and it wasn't a pleasant smell at all. I find it very different for a sushi restaurant that was self-served and you would order your food at the register like it's a fast food place. We ordered On the Border roll and 2 bento box with fried vegetables, teriyaki chicken and California roll. If you like spicy, creamy, deep fried sushi (crabmeat, cream cheese, and jalapenos) On the Border roll is the one for you. It was delicious! The bento box was alright... California roll was plain because there was no cream cheese in it and teriyaki chicken didn't have much flavor. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars because the taste of On the Border roll was good and the prices on sushi's and the bento box is very reasonable. Went on Friday afternoon and I was completely empty, it was a really uncomfortable feeling because the restaurant, the set up, the owners.. everything was out of place. Went up to ask the chef something about the menu and right away he pointed the cashier. So you have to go to the cashier to order, everything is self service, you pour your own drinks, get you extra small side dish for the soy sauce, etc.. The food itself it's Ok. Ok meaning not good, nor bad. The sushi rolls were on the warmer side (a bit scary since we are dealing with fish here). Taste wise, I liked 1 out of 4 things I ordered. Not sure if I offended someone, or they don't like take out orders, or they just forgot about me but when I placed my order I was told 25 minutes and it was 40 before I left. That, in and of itself, is not a big deal but when I arrived, all of their tables were full. During the course of my wait, the restaurant completely turned over with all of their new arrivals arriving after I did and all except one getting their meals while I waited. The food was good. While visiting Dallas with my family, we craved sushi and found this amazing little sushi place in a strip mall. The service was friendly and the food tasted even better!!
