I contacted this company and I got a fast response. After providing my number I was sent a text by the assistant. I scheduled for a 1 PM consultation. At 1:30 I followed up to confirm if the client tractor was still going to come. No response. I went to run errands. My husband and son stayed at home. My husband told me that at 3 PM the contractor showed up. This is terrible customer service. The communication is bad. I engaged Edri Construction to concrete in a large portion of our yard which included demolishing existing structures and relocating pool equipment as well as irrigation lines. Additionally, EDRI concreted a lengthy path down a hill in our backyard so we could access a trail. We had the pleasure of engaging with Avi, the owner, who demonstrated a consultative approach to our project which I absolutely loved! Some contractors will just do what a customer tells them to (even if it doesn't make sense or there is a better solution!). After challenging us to more clearly articulate our needs and vision Avi offered pragmatic suggestions and novel ideas for us to consider. I appreciated his expertise and our project outcomes would not have been nearly as good without him. Once we decided to move forward with Edri Construction, staff immediately descended upon our home and continuously worked until the project was complete. The staff were friendly, respectful and diligent in their work. Our work site was kept tidy and clean. I believe that with construction you get what you pay for. Our deck project evolved from a simple repair to a complete rebuild after we discovered that all the wood was rotten and had to go. We absolutely love our new home! My husband's first words when he walked in the kitchen were "it's better than what I dreamed". The Edri construction team helped us with a remodel of our entire home. We did a garage conversion to add a parental suite, bathroom, and laundry on our first floor; and we removed the wall between our living and dining rooms to create an open concept. We also updated the kitchen and bathroom upstairs, as well as, the flooring and electrical. Idan put us in contact with an architect, Caroline, who helped us render the floor plans and submit permits for approval - this process was very fast (2-3 weeks). The original project estimate for timing was 5 months, which was at least 2-3 months faster than other contractors we considered. The project took 1 month longer than the original estimate, which was a little stressful in the end; and in retrospect, I think we should have added some padding to the timeline to be safe (we've heard from friends recently that their remodels took at least 2 months longer than expected). While Edri had the highest pricing we received compared to the other bids, there were no surprise fees or extra costs that were not given in the original bid, which from what I heard is a rare thing and was great for planning financially. Furthermore, the other companies said some things that were questionable in our initial meetings (eg how to cut corners, etc) that were concerning to us. Edri construction said they stood by their name for quality and wanted to deliver us the house of our dreams. This has proved to be true and we are very happy to have trusted them. During construction, there were never any disputes, if there was a mistake on our end or theirs, they would help us resolve the issue to make our dream house (and if the mistake was theirs, they took ownership and would cover the cost to replace). We moved in before all final touches could be completed and items ordered, so they will still come back to help us install our closet doors, some lights and final touches, but we trust them completely. Something I really appreciated is Avi would bring issues to our attention that needed to be addressed, that were beyond the scope of the project (eg, reseal the cement at the edge of our patio to prevent water damage) - this gave me the sense that he really cared about our home. When we had the recent torrential rains, some water got inside our house - the team rushed over to help us prevent water damage to our floors and helped us resolve the drainage problem. I am very happy to refer them and would be happy to answer any specific questions others may have in making their decision; I know this is a stressful and difficult decision. We learned many things as this was our first renovations - for starters, order your cabinets and any patio doors as soon as possible (they have the longest lead times). read more

Hired them to do a total demo and renovation. It was mostly my design, and it used a lot of high end materials, including custom lighting. Building had concrete structure and many HoA restrictions and we worked around all of it. I certainly learned a lot, but the process probably could have been easier with a designer or architect to manage things. In the end, I felt like the project exceeded the original vision, and it's a joy to see it come together so well. Given the current environment, there were of course some hiccups, but the contractor was always committed to making it right, and the payment structure was incremental, which is a good sign in my book. My recommendation is to communicate proactively and often. If you think you have any work that's special or non-standard, do your research and provide clear instructions so you can get a proper quote. I'm happy with the amount I paid given the quality of work. I'm very picky and detail oriented and felt like in the end, they nailed every single point. read more
