Throughout all of these changes, Riegel Property Management has been consistently diligent and helpful. I have had typical apartment issues that have been addressed immediately by their subcontractors. They have an app that is used to pay rent as well as indicate maintenance issues. When I have had any questions or needed clarification it was easy for me to contact the main office by phone. I appreciate that they have fully vetted subcontractors that come and work at the property and apartments. It is apparent that they take pride in the excellent service that they provide. I have had direct contact with a number of staff members and appreciate their immediate follow-through. It is easy for me to recommend Riegel Property Management.

I would not hire this company to manage any property whatsoever. I was a tenant in one of the…read morebuildings that they managed. During the time they were managing this property they would never come to check on the property or provide proper maintenance. If we had an issue, pest control or water leaks in the wall it would take them days weeks or months to come fix the issue. As a property managers they are supposed to offer you heat or air when your AC breaks down they never offered it. I had to tell them to offer this it and as a tenant that's my right to be provide with heating or cooling when the units break down. Last summer the units here had a pest control issue, Riegel asked us to sign a release of responsibility to let a stranger come into our apartment. I was not shocked that they were not going to come while they sent pest control to enter our apartment and no one would be home. the while no one is home. I never understood how they can still be in business and do these kind of things what kind of property management company are they? there are a series of things I could complain about but I think I'll just end this review here. The apartment building is old, however, David N. Shultz continues to improve the building. They recently painted the entire outside of the building, and it looks great! My only complaint is that they have not updated the inside of the building. The lobby and elevator and hallways look very outdated, very old paint, and quite embarrassing when people come to visit me. I hope they will make the appropriate upgrades and improvements needed soon. On that note however, I would like to share that when David N. Shultz painted the building, my rent was not increased. I give 5 stars for that too! Other places dock you when they upgrade their building. The main reason for my five star review and rating today is due to David N. Schwartz judgement in obtaining professional and outstanding managers to manage my apartment building, Paulina and Jibarie have been great! They are professional, very nice, respectful, and very accommodating. They are always on top of things. Whenever I request maintenance in my unit, I always receive an immediate response back, and a call is made within that same day to resolved any issue in a timely manner. That is very important to me. I have locked myself out of my unit a few times in the past, which was quite embarrassing, and they were always at my rescue, no complaints (I have copies of my keys now, so that I don't have to bother them with that anymore, lol) Paulina and Jibarie get the job done. I moved here as one of the first tenants and from the beginning, the property has had major issues. From broken elevators for weeks on end, zero communication or follow up from management, paper thin walls between the floors and the walls between; the list of negative reasons of why you should NOT live here outweigh any positive reasons. I just concluded moving out and even then, I did not get any of my security deposit back and I was charged for "smoking" damage even though I actually lodged complaints of my neighbor smoking so it's ironic I was then charged for the smoke damage. I could have taken Greystar to small claims like many have (please use Google/reddit and you'll see how many complaints/lawsuits have been lodged against Greystar) but I like many others, just paid the due so we can finally move on from this predatory management company. This is the type of behavior you will be encountering from the day that you live here until you move out. In a HCOL landscape where there's plenty of overpriced apartments to rent, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

They claim my carpet needed shampooed which is a blatant lie (see video for yourself). Mind you, there is often dog poop and food scraps on the ground in the hallways. But anyway, don't move here y'all. And if you already have, do not let them take your security deposit when you move out. They cannot legally charge you for normal wear and tear.

Within hours he responded back promptly, asking specific questions about the issues at hand and communicating was no problem at all. The next day, he arrived and checked up on everything and had them fixed. I've rented in many places and to have management that is this responsive was refreshing! Last month, husband and I made the decision to move out and we contacted Rick but due to the current pandemic, there was a slight delay in him getting back to us. He dealt with it professionally, apologizing for the delay and explaining his current situation and ensuring us that the leave would be done smoothly and properly -- which indeed has been so far. Will be leaving in May and I hope it will be a good experience like our 10 year tenancy!
