Cozy nice spot with some good food. You must start with a carb cake. Crispy yet tender, & I couldn't get enough of that honey lemon mayo slap sauce. Went with the steak and frites and it was good, but my girlfriend's scallops and Parmesan grits took it to that next level of rememberable. Drinks are nice and I really like the aesthetic of this spot. If you're right on the main tourist area of rosemary beach, it's definitely a spot to stop and eat. Really excited to eat the rest of this steak with my eggs tomorrow. read more

What a nice surprise! Great dining ambiance in courtyard with Jazz player entertaining and outdoor dining with lots of air moving so comfortable temperature. I like the open kitchen right behind the courtyard. Wine list was solid, especially considering beach front tourist area restaurant. We enjoyed the Paul Hobbs Barnhouse Sonoma Pinot, it was delicious and very good value at $60. Nice touch that it was served at correct temperature. Baked oyster appetizer with bacon, spinach and cream was 5 Star. Brussel sprouts were really good too. We were celebrating for our 16 year old son and he wanted to try the cheese tray. He really loved the blue cheese and the hard cheese (Parmesan?). I'm stoked he will try different things. The main courses were really good. We had the grouper, ribeye and crab cake, all were very good. Good service throughout. We will be back! read more

Excellent place for dinner! We actually already had our name in at another restaurant at Rosemary Beach, that had an hour and a half wait (note to self-don't book a trip to the beach during Fall Break, super crowded everywhere!), so we thought we would walk around and Edward's had immediate seating! Not sure why-their food and service was amazing! We could have sat in the area that seems like it is inside, but really is open on top. Great area but they had live music so it was a little loud so we sat inside, which was also very nice. They don't have a full bar (didn't realize that a lot of restaurants in Rosemary Bar do not have a full liquor license) but they had really nice wines, wine cocktails and beer to choose from, so I went with a Sauvignon Blanc. Our waitress was really friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. She told us we could get the Capellini Pomodoro (roast tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, Parmesan, dried chili with pasta) with our choice of protein so I ordered it with scallops and my husband got the shrimp. It was really good! Oh, forgot to mention our Brussel Sprouts appetizer-loved it! They had manchego, malt vinegar and pecans. Our table of 4 split the brussel sprouts. My friend had the Seared Diver Scallops-Parmesan Grits, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Arugula, Capers and Lemon Butter. Our other friend had the "Snake River" braised pork shank-sorghum mustard glaze, butternut squash purée, and bacon braised kale. Food was way overpriced and waiter did not communicate the price for the deal she was giving us. When the food came, the waiter was snarky. To make me even more mad, I bite into my chicken tinder and it is NOT cooked‼‼After talking to the waiter and trying to figure out our situation she was no help and we ended up having to pay full price for uncooked chicken. After looking into my three receipts I noticed the waiter gave one of the receipts the kids price and refused to give the other two the that same price (all three orders where from the kids menu).When getting home this food made both of my friends have horrible diarrhea and now we think they have food poisoning‼‼‼I wish I was joking‼‼Don't go here‼‼‼ read more

Honestly, I'm shocked at any review that are less than five stars. Edwards is amazing! We dined for both lunch and dinner multiple times during our trip, and everyone in our large party thought that the menu options were versatile and all saw multiple things that we wanted to order. Each meal was so delicious, and we each loved our dishes. On our last dinner, I especially loved my capellini Pomodoro! It was literally amazing, and I look forward to our next trip to have it again! My husband and I split the Ribeye and a lot of side plates. We like food in bulk and not small plates, and this place didn't disappoint to leave us with leftovers. The favorites that the ordered for sides were the grits and Mac and cheese. The brussel sprouts and frites and aioli were pretty good. We were seated pretty quickly after showing up around 6, and the food came out shockingly fast for us tonight. We'll definitely be back. Our server, Tatiana, was great! read more

Our service at Edwards was fantastic and the food was scrumptious. However, the lobster ravioli had no lobster in it to the chef's surprise. Upon tasting the dish, we noticed that the ravioli was filled with mushroom and not lobster as we had ordered. The chef informed us that the supplier had shipped then the wrong ravioli, indicating that their food came prepared and packaged, frozen from another location. The staff then proceeded to charge us for one of the ravioli's with no apology or recognition of the mistake on the chef's part. Not fine food, not fresh food, and not customer-centric service. Check the freshness and accuracy of your order because proximity to the ocean does not necessitate high quality seafood. read more

I ordered the capellini pomodoro with chicken and as I was cutting into the chicken I saw that the bone was red. So I asked my sisters was it still good to eat and they said no. Honestly, Edward's deserves a 1-star review, but I'm giving them an extra star for ambiance. But everything else was horrible. The grouper was WAY over-cooked, tough, and flavorless. The service was abysmal. Our waitress never checked on our table once, forgot to come back and take our dinner order, never refilled water glasses, asked if I wanted more wine, etc. The entire dinner was spent flagging down other waiters/waitresses to get them to get our waitress, Kiyonta, to come by so we could place an order, get more wine, etc. My guess is Edward's doesn't have enough staff to run the restaurant. But, instead of turning down business to ensure that they only have as many diners as they can deliver 5-star service and quality to (ala Restaurant Paradis), they're grabbing as much cash as they can, knowing they have no chance to deliver a quality product. It'd be easy to pin it all on our waitress, but this is a management issue. Give someone too many tables to serve and cook for, and you can make even a world class waitress or chef look horrible. Tip: Restaurant Paradis is a PHENOMENAL dinner experience. And George's for lunch (which is owned by the same group that owns Edward's) is also outstanding. read more

This is the best food we have had in the area. The wine list is really full of quality from top to bottom--really impressive. The ambience is very welcoming--maybe laid-back fancy. It is a beach resort. Service was also too notch. The consensus from our group of four was this was the best of the five restaurants we experienced in Rosemary on the basis of price and value. While the lines at George's and La Crema stretched down the sidewalks, we were able to waltz right into this hidden gem right in the heart of Rosemary. Pretty mediocre. Nice setting, great staff but the rest is a joke. Steak frites was awful, and I've had this many times in many great places. Difficult to screw up unless your ultra-cheap on purchasing the steak. The pasta at $30 was not even a full plate, which is kinda insulting. It's the designated "safe bet" on the menu. Came here on a Monday night with high hopes. Unfortunately it was not the dinner we had hoped for.. Our family of 8 debated on 1 star vs 2, and settled on 2. Negatives: We ordered 3 of the Grouper dish- very dry, 1 was overcooked and rubbery, sauce it sat in was basically straight lemon juice. No flavor on the fish, no seasoning and not enough salt. Hard to eat. We got two of the Capellini Pomodoros w chicken- chicken was great, pasta/sauce was lackluster- edible but not memorable. Gumbo, the soup of the day, was under seasoned and average. Positives: Scallops w/ grits were very good. Crab cakes were great as well. Brussel sprouts were also solid. For the rating and prices of this place - overall very disappointing. read more
