They charged enough for their dishes in a very limited entree choice (7). The flavor for my red fish ($34) tasted flavorful enough but had a single piece of fish the size of a fillet from a Silver Pompano (about the size of the beef from a McDonald Cheeseburger). Our group of 11 with 2 teenager and 3 children 6 and under wasn't given bread or dinner roll while we waited. My wife ordered the same entree and it appeared that her micro greens ended up on my plate! Seeing what was offered, we skipped dessert and went elsewhere for that b/c most of us we're still hungry after we left. read more

Ordered to go food. Restaurant looked very busy and aesthetically pleasing's. The staff we interacted with was very prompt and courteous. We ordered salmon wrap, shrimp and grits, marinated crab and other kid meals. Everything was very good and traveled very well. We came as a party of 7 and were accommodated after an hour of wait. Took advantage of the time and walked around the beautiful and scenic beach area. Live music and dim lighting made the atmosphere quite cozy and romantic if you're here for a date. Food: Since we were such a large party and the menu is pretty limited we all tried a little but every option was delicious! The baked oysters were very flavorful, and the crab cake with the arugula salad was such a well balanced plate woth sweet and fresh flavors. The flat iron and brocollini was very good, mac and cheese was a large portion, arugula and strawberry salad was a small portion but so delicious! Capellini has a fresh tomato sauce. I am a repeat customer and am never disappointed. The waitstaff (shout out to Harrison) is friendly, unpretentious, and helpful; the ambiance is calming, clean, and comfortable.The crawfish and corn soup was flavorful, HOT (like soup should be!), and had a most wonderful aroma. We booked a 7pm reservation for New Years Eve. Booking was made a week in advance. We waited outside forty minutes after our intended seating time. A well functioning restaurant will manage their clientele more effectively and ensure that tables are ready when their clientele has made a reservation. UPDATE: The manager came to our table, apologized profusely and offered not one, but two bottles of excellent wine as compensation. Adjusting the one star to four stars as the problem was addressed and the meal was tasty. read more

The grouper should be amazing given where were located, but we get better fish in Birmingham, AL from the gulf The tuna tartare is frozen & scooped on a plate that is indiscribable. The best service we encountered our entire time in the Emerald Coast area. Food was amazing from the appetizers, entrees to dessert. Kids loved the Mac n cheese and homemade ice cream. We eat here every year for our family beach trip, but a smaller group of 4 instead of everyone. This restaurant isn't very big, like all of the others in Rosemary. I've loved every dish I order and their wine selection is above average. Beer selection is decent as well. Funny story, we were being sat by the hostess and this man tells us "they don't serve liquor here. Just thought you'd want to know." - I already knew this, and quite frankly I enjoy that aspect of Edward's Highly recommended, put your name on the list and check this app to see your place in line while you're enjoying other Rosemary establishments. read more

We have not been to Edwards in awhile because they don't take reservations, but, because it isn't quite spring break yet we thought we might be able to be seated... we got to sit at the bar, our favorite spot, because we love to have Jen as our server.. and she was there! So, because it is lent, I was going to order fish.. and I had some other requests, so Jen fixed us right up... well, chef Josh made us THE MOST fabulous meal that was just what we are looking for!!! Great food & excellent wine selections. The service was wonderful. And the ambiance was cozy and comfortable, tucked away in an alley. Our only regret is that it's hidden away a bit and there are no sunset/beach views to enjoy. That aside, this place is the spot. My hubs enjoyed the tuna and I enjoyed the steak frites. Both fabulous, well cooked, flavorful dishes. I'll add that the portions were generous. We probably didn't need the side of mac & cheese... but boy did we enjoy it. It's a must try! The baked oysters were an tasty start to the night. And the bottle of Chardonnay that our lovely waitress recommended rounded out our meal brilliantly. Thank you, Edwards! Decided to give Edward's a try after walking past it a few times and seeing the ambience and people clearly enjoying their meals. I had the filet and enjoyed it but it wasn't as good (tender and melt in your mouth) as I would have hoped for. My friend had the salmon and enjoyed it. The crab cake was good but nothing to write home about as some reviews lead me to believe it would be. The wine was good and my friend enjoyed his beer. Was seated very quickly and service was excellent. No liquor, wine and beer only--a little disappointing, but my fault for not researching. The crab cake and arugula salad was fantastic and my husbands scallops were great. I had the steak frites and the NY strip wasn't a great piece of beef. Thin, fatty, and not very flavorful. Steak frites is my go to at any restaurant that serves it and this was my least favorite. That's my sole reason giving 3 stars--for a $40 meal of steak and French friea-the NY strip should be an excellent cut of meat. read more

The beginning of my groups stay was rather pleasant. Towards the end of our stay was when things went down hill. We got our check and it was over $250. As a group of 7 teenagers we expected the checks to be split. We weren't upset at first because we did not specify, but once we asked they said they could only split it evenly. Which caused a problem because some people ordered a $15 item and we're going to be paying $50 (some people shared checks). Because of this I had to call an adult for advice and guidance because we didn't want to pay $50 each and we didn't have the money on one card. Thankfully an adult was able to pay over the phone, but it came to my surprise when another table got separate checks. Unfortunately I will be eating here again. Be aware of the service. While I was trying to handle this situation, servers were giving me stares and whispering underneath their breath. I hope this experience can be one they can learn from. read more

Something has changed...meal was so so. Ordered surf and turf for my birthday meal and it was lukewarm and my dates meal wasn't very flavorful. Server never checked in after food was delivered. Disappointing. Update: Management reached out and I took the opportunity to communicate the full experience privately to them. They listened and agreed with our disappointment but went the additional step, invited us back and refunded our meal. Very responsive and very generous offer. read more

My husband and I went to dinner there tonight for our last night in Rosemary. Our experience was terrible and even told my husband that our lunch at the bar down the street was better. We were there for almost 1.5 hours and our waiter spoke to us maybe four times. We even had to ask for our bill. The timing of bringing the food out of the kitchen needs work. We ordered the crab cake for an appetizer, and it was very good. My husband ordered the steak for dinner. It was tough like leather and definitely not worth the price. I ordered the scallops, and again good but not worth the price. This definitely wasn't what I wanted my final dinner experience to be in Rosemary. read more

This place is SO good! It's absolutely one of those really good "you get what you pay for" places. The food is incredible. These chefs absolutely know what they're doing. Everything about the salmon is to die for as well as the creme brûlée! And the ambiance of the courtyard was so nice and relaxing. The interior of this restaurant is cozy and upscale, the live music was good- appealing without being overpowering. I've dined at Edwards for over a decade. The movies they used to play on the wall, the acoustic guitar live music was soft & made the evening so wonderful. Tonight? It was heavy metal, all night, because of the upstairs bar they've added on. Heavy metal and cloth napkins, do not match. The fish is great, salads great, server was attentive. Atmosphere is as important as the food & judging by the 4 open tables at 7:30 while la crema had a 2 hour wait, was proof that this place isn't what it could be, should be or used to be. read more
