But the pizza... that's where things fall apart. Every slice was bland, dry, and completely lacking in flavor. No seasoning, no richness, nothing memorable. It felt like all the effort went into the crust and none into the taste. With how nice the place is, the pizza being such a miss is extra disappointing. I ordered food on Tuesday night, 4 items Greek salad, Smokey bacon burger, mozzarella sticks and boneless chicken tenders with no sauce. I received a Greek salad, chicken wings (with bones), spicy chicken wrap, and no mozzarella sticks. The driver came back for the chicken wings at which point i realized the screw up with the sandwich. The driver returned with the chicken strips (dry and over cooked). We tried to call but they were closed. I was sent a survey where i laid out all my problems, no response. I stopped by today and talked with someone at the front who's first response was you should have called. I did and they were closed. Not surprised when I picked them up they weren't cooked to order- girl behind the counter handed me a filthy knife "to check it'".... COVERED IN MAYO. Seriously? Just ONCE can an order be made correctl?!? Just asked for a new bun for both, but by the time I got that (was the only person in the place) & the 5 min drive home, realized both were soggy & disgusting. I understand that new employees make mistakes- spent two decades in the restaurant industry- but if you can't remember the temp for 2 identical burgers & place the order incorrectly, don't place the blame on me! Nonetheless, called back & kindly asked for them to remake what I had ordered. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes (now it's past 10pm) & back on the road again. Arrived to pick them up & again I'm waiting. 10:30... 10:40... Finally, a girl with a horrible attitude hands me one burger. This time no soggy fries nor onion rings I paid for, just a burger- and when I asked for the rest of the order she looked at me like a deer in headlights- ARGUING that she didn't know- even though we just discussed this order on the phone; For some reason none of them could seem to get it right! As I have already made two separate trips there and back which proved to be a waste of my time- the food was never prepared correctly- why waste my time? But she still refused to refund me. Taking care of loyal customers is obviously not important to these greenhorns- on the contrary, they cannot take responsibility for their own mistakes. Most importantly, they completely ruined the precious little time I have to enjoy with my husband after he gets home from work. The pizza at the "chain" Filippou's Twisted scattered throughout the state are exactly that, chain restaurants. The pizzas at Twisted taste fast foodish, no love in the recipe or in the cooking. If you want real pizza it is well worth the drive to Wickford. My family used to order the Fish and Chips every Friday for about 4 years, it was always great. Oct 2019 we ordered take-out and received 3 Fish and Chips where EVERY piece of fish smelt EXACTLY like strong cleaning ammonia. It was horrible. We called the owner and she very much dismissed it saying that "I'm very picky about the fish I eat" and that "she had sold 30-some odd numbers of fish that night - with no problems" Being 'picky' is one thing.. being served rotten fish is entirely another thing. She did, very reluctantly, made us another batch of fish, but without new fries.. even tho our old fries had been touching gross rotten ammonia fish. I have to say I am extremely disappointed in my dinner tonight. Hi I called and ordered pasta without sauce just butter and garlic and grilled chicken. It smelled great and I was so hungry, unfortunately this dinner was a big letdown. Was craving some pizza so I decided to do some curbside pickup. The online ordering was easy to use with 20 to 30min time and they had a good coupon so I mine as well take advantage. Placed my order for a pepperoni pizza, a few gaggers all the way and a fountain soda and went on my merry way for pick up. Pull up and I didn't have to pick up my phone, a nice girl came out confirmed my name and provided us with the order. The pizza looked like it was cooked perfect (minus the pep, we'll get to that later). The sauce was absolutely amazing but I wasn't a fan of the crust upon taste (to much crust for my liking) and the beyond greasy pepperoni. I think next time I'll shoot for a thin crust and something else that I shouldn't have to wipe off grease with a napkin. The wieners had a lot of mustard so I think next time I'll ask for light on the mustard or none so I can apply it myself. And my fountain soda I was the most disappointed with. Being someone who has worked at a restaurant in customer service for the past 4 years I can say I am not one to complain and i understand that mistakes happen. But after three very bad experiences I am left angry and with money wasted. #1 I ordered a pizza and a grinder the grinder was ordered specifically with no cheese and when the order was repeated back over the phone they said "Grinder with no cheese" when the order was delivered, there was a whole extra grinder that we did not order delivered and they charged us for it. After eating a few bites I realized something was wrong. I pulled apart the grinder to find cheese and I am extremely lactose intolerant and hadn't had a single bite of dairy in a year. At this point we called them back because the sent and charged us for two grinders when we ordered one and neither one of them were what we ordered. The told us they could refund one of the grinders but that's all they could do. Meaning they will refund the grinder that we didn't order but won't do anything about the grinder that they sent that I couldn't eat. #2 I ordered a grinder with a few modifications but nothing uncommon. The grinder arrived with 0 of the 3 things I asked to be added to it and 3 additions that I did not ask for. Along with that, the grinder was very soggy. #3 ordered chicken tenders. I got over cooked burnt tasting "chicken tenders" that weren't even fully breaded so the oil frying it got inside the breading that was there. I work in a restaurant. Never would my restaurant let food like this be sent out to customers and never would my restaurant not remake food that they messed up. read more

If you had any question to the claims made in other reviews, I will confirm that both times I have placed orders to go, they have taken at least 30 minutes and that is for pickup. The pizza I had tonight was over cooked and somewhat burnt which means they could have improved the time. The first time we decided to give Twisted a try was about a month ago. We had some calzones french fries and pasta, of everything that we had in stock and the fries were the best but it's pretty hard to screw up french fries. The sauce on the pasta was very plain, I have had sauce out of the jar that has tasted better and had more flavorful. Since Pizza is by far my favorite I figured I would give them a second try and went with a cheese pizza tonight, that is since I did not want to make the longer drive to pizza shops on the eastern side of North Kingstown. I will not make that mistake again, and drive further. The pizza was overcooked and very dry the crust was inedible. They also advertise it on the menu as a thin crust which I take for the traditional hand tossed type of pizza. However, this was clearly the pan style - Greek pizza that everyone else describes in their reviews. For that style of pizza I would much rather make the longer drive to Socrates Pizza on Post Road. If you want the hand tossed type of pizza visit Peir Pizza on Post Road. I clearly believe the reason this location does any business at all is due to the extreme lack of pizza shops in this part of town. read more

We usually order delivery here quite a lot over the past year. Our past two experiences is why I am giving only 2 stars. One order, a chicken Cobb salad was ordered. No chicken... I called and was told I'd have a credit on my account. No credit there. Ordered today, and ordered 4 orders of chicken tenders. I was charged for each side of dipping sauce!!!! Seriously? The first word that pops into my head when thinking of this place is: Slow. We sat down to eat on a Tuesday night when they do the discounted wing night. We ordered a soda, a glass of wine, and 20 wings. The bar wasn't crowded at all, and it took us 40 minutes to see our wings.
