Very impressed and happy to have found a great new breakfast place! Great food and fast friendly service!! Kids loved the whole wheat M&m pancakes and eggs, Belgian waffle my friend said it was the best she'd had in a long time. I had the sampler scrambler and it was delicious!! My dad had the cinnamon French toast complete with cinnamon swirls in it. We had fast friendly service and the management team was extremely friendly, even when we bother them to take a group pic they were happy to do so. read more

Just moved to the area and was looking for a good place to get a decent breakfast. I travel a lot for work and only get home every couple of weeks for the weekend so having a go-to place for breakfast is great. I found Egg Harbor by accident when driving to another place and I am so glad we stopped. First of all the level of customer service was unbelievable, from the moment I walked in the door to the when we paid our bill. The food..... all I can say is WOW! I didn't have a good experience here. The food was awful. My friend and I read the reviews on here so we decided to give it a try. The soup was awful, like worse than the soup you would get from a can at the grocery store. The sandwich tasted like it had been sitting out for a while so like a stale taste to it. If I could give this place a zero I would. The only thing that tasted good was the water. Customer service was good, I got compliments on my hat and my credit card, so there's that. Won't be returning here if they were giving away free food. read more

Honestly so bad compared to Johns Creek location. Walked in at 1:15 knowing they close at 2 so they had plenty of time to whip up some food. Breakfast foods are quick to make. waited til almost 2 for the food to come out, the hash browns were cold and hard as a rock, i sent them back and he said since they're closing soon they wont be making fresh ones, saw all other tables not have food yet and people walked in at 2:10, so if they all order hash browns too they're just gonna all get old ones that have been sitting in the kitchen? Ridiculous honestly. We came 45 minutes prior to closing ordered right away and didn't get food til almost 2 and almost everything was cold. Needs to be managed better. Will continue going to johns creek location even though this one's closer to us. read more

My husband and I had breakfast here today and I was very disappointed. We love the other two we have visited and we were looking forward to eating at his location which is closer to us. I had the French toast and the syrup that came with it had very little taste. The waitress stated she could bring me real maple syrup for two dollars more which was much better. Really, two dollars more and this is a breakfast place. We do not have to come back to this location. I asked for flavoring and cream with my coffee. I did receive them in a small bowl. One with hazelnut flavoring and a bowl of cream. I will not return o this location. read more

I can't say enough positive things about this place! I've gone many times, tried different things and have never been disappointed! When they say fresh squeezed orange juice, they mean it! So yummy! I don't drink coffee, but my husband does and loves theirs! Some days they have different flavors:) if you are looking for a fun breakfast place, this is it! read more

What a delightful brunch experience at the Alpharetta Egg Harbor. I had the Gourmet Grits & 2 eggs Special (with tomatoes, spinach, goat cheese & bacon) - absolutely delicious. I hope they keep it on the menu! The farmhouse atmosphere is comfortable & the art is interesting - even the wall art on the way to the restrooms. We brought our family from out of town to this restaurant because the other location is always great. They got my fathers order wrong. They got my mothers order wrong. They couldn't make my husbands order because the batter had gone bad, which is fine, except they didn't tell us this until everyone else already had their food. We didn't get any service without literally flagging someone down as they would blatantly turn their head from me to avoid eye contact. It was ridiculous. The entire experience was extremely disappointing and we left without so much as an apology. We love egg harbor but will NOT be back to this location. read more

So last Sunday, the day before Labor Day, the four of us decided to pay a visit to the Egg Harbor Cafe ("Seating Daily From 6:30 am - 2 pm") on North Point Pkwy. I must say that we wound up quite happy with our choice of venue. We arrived a little after ten, and though the place seemed to be busy, we were seated promptly. (note to reader: this is my first YELP review, so please forgive a certain clumsiness of style, and the fact that I failed to note the names of the excellent people there who seated and served us, and who cashed us out.) The ambiance was very nice, if a little on the noisy side. The restaurant is a very large room, the walls done up in brick and wood and painted wall. On the walls were pictures, portraits really, of chickens... roosters and hens. The ambiance and decor was memorable mainly for the feeling of being unhurried and not closed in. As for the chow: delicious! I had something called Shakshuka, a deep red soup-like affair surrounding two (perfectly) poached eggs. The soupiness was a zesty mixture of a peppery Moroccan spiced onion sauce and spinach, topped with goat cheese and cilantro. I had a side order of Greek yogurt which cooled the tang of the Shakshuka. Wonderful. The ample menu is divided into sections, among which are "Egg-Cetera," "Harbor Benedicts," "Eggceptional Skillets," "Scramblers & Omelettes" and other such descriptors. One of the other three folks in my party also had the Shakshuka, but with a side order of the fruit bowl. Another of us had one of the skillet dishes, and the fourth member had the Farmer's Market Benedict. This particular person has some food sensitivities, and our waiter patiently listened to her questions and was happy to go to the kitchen to see if an offending item, if present, could be left out of her order. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Egg Harbor Cafe, and I know I will be back, probably with my daughter! read more

Great breakfast. You can taste the difference of the Humanely raised chicken, cage free eggs and fair trade coffee. Better ingredients makes for better meal.!. We were in Alpharetta, GA for a wedding and had breakfast at Egg Harbor. The selection was excellent - everything was fresh, waitress was super friendly and coffee selections were great. I had a combination fruit, yogurt and granola with toast and honey butter - it was fresh and good. My husband had a lobster and seafood omelet which was excellent. Orange juice freshly squeezed. Six in our group ate brunch. Was not impressed with my shrimp and grits. Very bland. My biscuit was awful. It was like from the day before. Very tough on the outside. This cafe was quite average, yet made up for this with good service. The food however was little to be excited for. The hash browns were flavorful, the cherrywood bacon was overcooked and the and regular bacon was undercooked. The grits were horrid. The grits tasted like rice cooked in a pot of glue. Atmosphere felt as if you were in a geriatric facility. The main positive was the drinks. read more

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star! I had heard it was a new place in town to try but OMG, I have never walked out of a place after receiving my food until now! The staff are friendly so that's not the problem. There's cobwebs - and not the kind that are up for Halloween! And dust!! When our order arrived is when we realized we should have never stepped foot in here. The chicken and waffles was chicken tenders like you would serve a child and they were barely warm as was the waffle. The omelet was tasty for the one bite I had but the pale hash browns were only slightly warm and same with the pasty looking cold English muffin! If someone told me it had been cooked an hour ago, I would have believed it! We asked for a manager and were told she was in a meeting. There was a staff meeting going on at another table. When she came over, she was very nice but the problem seems to be in the kitchen more than anyplace else. She offered to remake our meals but, not one thing was good the first time out so I wasn't waiting around to see if it would improve. We offered to pay for the coffee we had but she said no.
