Imagine paying almost $50 for rubbery, burnt, dry chicken. We thought we'd try this place out as we like giving local businesses a shot. This place looks great, is clean and the staff is really friendly..which is the only reason for the 3rd star. Unfortunately, the food is non-impressive. The sandwiches are huge which is normally a good thing but trying to bite into a large rubbery, burnt sandwich is not appetizing. Same with the chicken tenders. This place is new in Upland. Did not disappoint. A little bit pricy but good once in a while. Will definitely go back. Make sure you come HUNGRY! The sandwiches are huge and tasty. Our family of 5 came straight from the Ontario airport and still couldn't finish our food and we had 3 athletes. This is the best place I've eaten in a while! A little pricey but I'd pay it again easily. We had the Korean bowl which was fantastic, and the slider flight, which was also so good. I've driven past this place countless times taking my daughter to and from soccer practice/games and have been wanting to try it out. Finally got a chance to come in. Upon entering it wasn't busy at all just one person ahead of us ordering. The food did smell good. It was our first time so we were sure what we wanted we looked at the menu for a while and when it was our turn to order I asked the gentlemen at the register what he recommended he was very nice and patient with us while we decided. We ended up getting a chicken avocado bowl which was delicious but I wish they put a little less sauce on it. We also got 2 sliders one was the country bird and the other was the hot honey. The country bird was good the bang bang sauce gave it a good flavor. The hot honey slider was decent not too spicy, the flavors balanced out well. Just a regular chicken shop. Ordered the banh mi chicken sandwich, Korean hot, Island bowl, and Crack sauce/Garlic Parmesan wings for my family. The flavors are alright, they definitely taste like what you think it would. Chicken was okay but crunchy. The slaw used in the sandwiches and bowls cut the richness pretty well. The tender cut up on my island bowl was a overdone and dark like it was refried but overall a spot to try if you have a craving for chicken sandwiches. The chicken tenders used for the sandwiches were just too dark which made the sandwich a bit dry for my preference. My husband and I went here for the first time yesterday for lunch and it was SO GOOD. I had the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado on a brioche bun and my husband had the fried chicken tender sandwich with cheese and pickles. The guy next to Me recommend the breakfast burritos... he was a contractor from out of town and said he comes here whenever he's in town. The place is small... two small sitting areas that Max at 6-8 people, fountain beverage service, clean and bright. Pretty good! I got the "egg n bird sandwich", no bacon. Fried chicken was absolutely delicious, though sweeter than expected due to the honey. The egg was only noticeable in the last few bites as the 3 chicken tenders making the sandwich, had made it difficult to keep the whole together. Although I will point out those bites were specifically delicious. Expect a sweet sandwich that leaves your lips tinging, and maybe ask for an extra egg. read more

Oh my goodness if you want some real chicken flavorful, cooked right, Juicy, tantalizing and worth the money then head over to Egg N Bird. They're not cheesy with the portions and your pallet. Will love you later. I took my daughter here after graduation along with the family and they all enjoyed it. Now they keep asking to go back here all the time. I spent a lot of money, but it was well worth it. The only downfall is they gave me points to come back because of how much I spent, but it was a limited amount of time and I didn't think that was fair because I travel much. Ever since my friend took me there three months ago I've been going back a lot. But I've been also traveling a lot. So I've missed all my points and not been able to use any of my points. The food we did get was gross. Skip this place as cool as it looks, the menu isn't the same as inside or at least the kids working there said it isn't. I ordered online to pick up. When I arrived the food was not ready and there were two others waiting for their food so not super busy. They had two people at the cashier and 3 cooking. I waited another 15 min and still no food. I overheard them tell another guy they had no rice..I had ordered a bowl that was supposed to have rice but they didn't say anything to me. I said are you out of rice? They said oh our rice cooker is broken. I said but that's my dish I ordered..half of our food was sitting getting cold..I asked for a full refund and told them to keep the food. I was starting to feel uncomfortable because they all seemed like they didn't know what they were doing and I didn't want to risk undercooked food or getting food poisoning.. I went across the street to chick fil a, ordered the same amount of food and it was $10 cheaper. The kids working at EggNBird were very nice but they all seemed like they were still learning their job so I don't fault them..they need better training and someone leading them.
