Visited Egg N Bird with the family since it was new and food looked good. We almost passed on it because seating is very limited. There's about 4 tables in the whole place. An employee was sitting at a 4 top having his lunch, and we had to wait until he finished to get a seat. Meanwhile there was an empty 2 top available. Not sure why he didn't move. Anyway, after he was done, he didn't even clean the crumbs left on the table. The young lady behind the counter had to do it. Geez. Now to the food - it was good. The rice and eggs were cooked perfectly. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender / juicy inside. The chicken sandwich was huge. My daughter got the Nashville hot, and she was struggling to finish it due to the spice level. She said it was very good. I had the Loco bowl. It was good, but I was missing a sauce or gravy. When you think Loco, you think Loco Moco. It comes with a folded egg. I would have preferred a brown gravy over the plain white rice and a poached or fried egg with a runny center. That would have made the dish excellent. Our most disappointing dish was the most expensive - the Elote fries. There were only a few pieces of cut up chicken and barely any corn. It was mainly a slop of cheese and fries. If you're going to have Elote fries as a main dish in a chicken place, make the corn and chicken the stars. I think they would have been better off using Parmesan cheese sprinkled over the fries and corn and thrown that into the broiler or salamander and then sprinkled the chicken and hot Cheetos on top. Like hot Cheetos garlic Parmesan cheese Elote fries. The cheese sauce they are using ruins the dish. Anyway, if we are in the area again, we would stop by and try more of the menu. Give it a try next time you're at the Home Depot next door. Also want to give kudos to the young lady behind the counter. She was very helpful in explaining the dishes and patient with our questions. read more

Order No. 80 I got there and ordered at 1:17 and didn't get my food until 2:10. If you know the chicken is going to take and hour to cook why make the fries first? They were so soggy and cold and basically all clumped together. The sandwich was pretty good, but you guessed it. That was also cold too. It's one of those things where you can't tell if it's because they need more staff or they're not being managed well/they don't know what to do. Short: Raw chicken, handled incorrectly. Full: Ordered 2 of the breakfast chicken sandwiches. Mine was raw where it got largest. Didn't make a big deal, the cashier asked how it was and we let her know it was raw. She took the info straight to the back. Not sure who she talked to but when she came out she let us know that "the chicken was checked at the correct temperature BUT we can make you another one" 1. Its raw sitting on my plate, if they checked the temp maybe they only check 1 piece out of them all or didn't check the thickest part. Or they didn't check anything and are just idiots trying to cover their butt. 2. No I don't want another chicken sandwich from the same person who can't even admit they undercooked this chicken. The chicken was pink, the texture was near mush. Anyone who's cooked chicken would not have any problem saying it wasn't cooked. Anyway, no picture needed.
