Finally was able to try this place. I have been wanting to come by, but it is not in the most convenient location. However, I am glad I made the visit! All the reviews are correct price point is a little high, but the quality and size of the chicken sandwich was well worth it. I used the check-in offer to get the free french fries. Service was very good. I did have to wait for my order a little longer than anticipated. I usually don't mind if I know that my meal will be prepared fresh. There were also four orders ahead of me so it took a few minutes, but I was glad to see that this place is busy. I'm not a big fan of spicy. ( note to self & everyone else : please get a side of any sauce that comes in your meal because their sauces are to die for it brings so much flavor) I think they do charge a couple cents more though. The price for my meal was $15ish which included the bowl, macaroni salad and a medium drink. You can see from the pictures the amount of food and although they could have been a little more generous with the serving size, I can't complain because it was very filling. Service - 5 stars, we came early on 3.25.23 and had a great experience because of our cashier. She was friendly and knowledgeable and super kind. Prices are just right. Food - it is good, your typical franchise menu and food quality. We had the Korean bowl (no Mayo) and my husband had the Buff Bird Sandwich. It's ok, nothing over the top. My Korean Bowl had maybe a tablespoon of slaw I definitely wanted more, the fried onions were so small and maybe had 1/2 teaspoon and the rice and chicken were lukewarm. My husbands fries needed a ton more seasoning/salt. Came here on a friday night and it was dead. No one was here so that meant that I didn't have to wait long, which was a plus. The women working inside were all so nice and welcoming. We decided to get our order togo since our toddler was creeping towards his bedtime. I got the 4 piece tender combo and my wife got the 12 piece wings. It had a thick sticky sauce, but the outside of the chicken was still crunchy. And the white meat of the chicken was so moist!!! I don't know how they do it. I've rarely had an order of garlic parmesan chicken wings be a wet sauce. This one was one of the wettest garlic parmesan sauces I've ever had!!! But it worked. Full of garlic and parmesan flavors. I ordered the breakfast burrito, it was very flavorful and the chicken was crispy yet full of meat (just as it should be) would definitely order again. Also got an order of 6pc garlic parmesan wings, and I will say I usually like this flavor dry but here they come in a wet sauce and it was surprisingly good. However, I was only able to take a couple bites due to the chicken being undercooked, so had to toss them. I made a return visit to Egg N Bird to try the chicken sandwich. I got the Country Bird this time along with fries and a water. The sandwich came with pickles so I had them left off and when I received the order they were indeed left off. Kudos. The chicken seemed to be two tenders on the bun and it took me a bit by surprise. The taste was fine so it wasn't a deal breaker. The thing that did surprise me were the fries. No more crinkle cut. Those are my favorite and unfortunately they were replaced with crispy batter coated type fries. Initially I was definitely disappointed but they tasted ok. This place is absolutely great. The food is fresh and well-executed, we've not been disappointed yet and we've come in a half-dozen times. Wish the lighting wasn't SO harsh - its bright enough to perform surgery - so dining in isn't preferred over take-out or delivery, but I find myself craving the Island Bird bowl and the grilled chicken avocado bowl OFTEN. The meat is deliciously seasoned. We had it for dinner tonight and I knew I owed them a five-star review.
