I pretty much tried everything in their menu except the chicken steak. Yes, it is pricier than other places that lean more toward take-out casual brunch cafe; however, the combination of flavors and textures of these sandwiches are just perfect especially with the ones that are served with Japanese milk buns. The only issue I have with this place is with their beer battered potatoes. Maybe it's just me, but its too salty for my palate. My family and I became a regular here for weekend brunch pretty much haha. read more

I can't say I am a fan. $70 for two 3 year olds & 1 adult to have breakfast here. Orange juice was good but the coffee was bad. I guess if you want a sandwich you might like the place. For us it was a waste of money. read more

I would post a picture of the eggbred burger that I bought, but there wasn't enough time before I devoured it. The food is delicious and you are left satisfied. The customer service is very friendly. I visited Eggbred on their soft opening, I normally wait for places to get their act together, but I was feeling lucky. Sadly, I must convey my poor service incident. I called my order in at 9:45a, and was quoted a 15min wait. I show up around 10:05a, pay for the order, see that they had written my order on a piece of paper (in plain view), then realize that they NEVER ENTERED THE ORDER...are you kidding me? Ok, I took a deep breadth, and decided to wait. I sat in clear view on the bar adjacent to the cooking area. I watched like over 25 sandwiches go through the pass, even heard my order called out at two different times, but finally asked an employee that it was now 10:40a, almost an hour after I placed my initial phone order. A cook even approached me and asked for my receipt (which was never returned), and around 10 minutes later I finally received my order (around an hour after my initial phone order, and note that no discount of any kind was offered for my troubles). Granted they were slammed with new customers after I entered the place, and also they had some issue with the ticket printer that they seemed to fix after around 5-10 minutes of fiddling (note: all the folks working on the system that handled food should have replaced their gloves after touching the cables and equipment). Ok, now for my review on the food...it was GREAT! I had a hard time thinking what overall star rating to give, and I settled on a weighted "2 star" because the service was so overwhelmingly poor on so many levels. Service would have been zero stars, and the item we ordered (avocado toast) would have been 4 stars, mainly because the eggs were cooked over hard versus over medium. Had the eggs been over medium, this item would have been 5 stars. read more

A great place to try just once. The ribeye steak egg and cheese was great and even with a long line, the service was quick and great.

The potatoes were amazing and everything tasted really well! While they don't have the blood orange juice anymore it was still delicious

Here we go... for starters, I tried calling my order in since we're about 20 minutes away from this place. They literally picked up the phone and hung it up 3 times without saying a word. I went in anyways because I was determined to try it. I ordered a total of 3 bacon sandwiches. 2 of them with no ketchup. The 3rd with light ketchup. Benny on the rocks. Sausage sandwich. And the fried chicken sandwich. The young lady that took my order repeated it several times. I was waiting outside with my buzzer and finally got impatient and walked inside to see what the hold up was. My food was sitting there and the girl said they were having problems with their buzzers. Walked out to my car and pulled out of the parking lot. Had my fiancé check the order and what do you know.... we're missing a sandwich. Walk back in and the girl says I was only charged for 2 of the 3 sandwiches. I wouldn't know because I never got a receipt. She had the cooks make me a fresh sandwich and I was on my way. Now for the food.... everything was delicious. However, the Benny in the rocks was missing the egg. Maybe once they get settled in and into the swing of things, we'll give them another shot. read more

This has got to be one of my favorite breakfast spots. The first time I came here I got the scramble me softly. It was surprisingly good despite not having meat in it. The bun is really soft and the eggs are the perfect consistency. Last time I came here I got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich which is my favorite item on the menu. It's a cute little place and they make some really tasty sandwiches. The menu, while limited, is certainly unique. It's worth a try and I will probably go back. I am knocking points off, however, for three things. First, they're overpriced by some 25 - 40%, even considering the quality of the ingredients. Second, they have too many people on staff; we walked in and there were more people in the kitchen (stepping over each other) than in the restaurant. Third, they're pretty slow, even with that many people, and probably because they have that many people. A clear sign of too many cooks spoiling the soup, a phrase which has a real meaning. read more

Good everything is not too salty not too sweet. One downside is that The red velvet waffles were very dry and not sweet. Their buns are delish, bacon is meh but poutine fries are really good i would get again but there was one lone raw ish crunchy potato which was weird. I went last Thursday morning. There were a couple people in front of us and that was it and the workers in the front were moving so slow and it probably took about 20 minutes for us to get our food. The workers were pretty rude too. Then, they messed up my entire groups' orders and then refused to give us the correct sandwiches saying that we already took the incorrect sandwiches and there was nothing they could do about it. While I had a less than ideal visit my first time, the manager reached out to me to improve my experience. After going back a second time, things were much better. On the weekends, there is a wait but it is more of a scene than an inconvenience. The food I had was better and actually hot; it looks like they are making improvements! Tried for the first time and very delicious. I took it to go and the sandwiches hold well, which isn't the case for a lot of breakfast sandwiches. Bacon & Egg and the Country Chicken breakfast sandwiches were great, as well as the potatoes. If you don't take phone orders or can't take them them please state that or have a recording that does. Having an employee answer the phone 4 times, place the phone on the counter, and then someone pick it up and hang it up without checking if someone is on the line is ridiculous. I was very surprised about this place. I've eaten at Eggslut a few times and I think this place is better. Eggspresso has good flavor compared to the other place. I've only tried their bacon egg and cheese and chicken fried steak (very good but can't eat all the time cause the calories and it's messy) but both were good. Cold brew was also good as it was pretty smooth and not as harsh/bitter as others. Took off one star because I had to wait 30 minutes for my food but at least the staff were nice and apologized. read more

Great but need to be better at consistently with items and the cook there eggs. Ordered 3 of the same sandwich and each egg was cooked different. But still a great sandwich. With 18 years of professional cooking under my belt, I would say you need to slow down and make it right. You are doing great with pumping out food. I had the chorizo-chili hash bowl, very tasty. The chorizo was finely ground, so no big chunks to get stuck in my dental work. They were happy to accommodate my request for no avocado, "no problem!" Great breakfast place. Got the chorizo egg and cheese sandwich and the Benny with a blood orange juice. We loved our food and the Japanese milk buns are phenomenal. Benny was amazing as well. Blood orange juice was really good too, kind of pricey but it was an indulgence and worth it. Decor is super cute and the staff were all remarkably friendly and accommodating.
