My brother had mentioned this place, and whilst housesitting for him, I decided to check it out. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. These sandwiches are bomb. I decided to get the ribeye steak and egg and Nashville chicken sandwich. Ribeye: The ribeye meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. I mean this was a one by one kill type of sandwich. You've been into it and you did not have to fight the ribeye to get your piece. I've tried ribeye sandwiches and other places and as soon as you take a bite, you're trying to fight the piece of meat you have in your mouth.... (No ....) and the piece that you're holding in your hand. This meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Nashville: This piece of chicken was breaded perfectly. I like the amount of crunch that it had, and every bit of juiciness inside. As far as the heat, I do tend to be more heat tolerant than most people, I want a little bit more out of it. With that being said, it does not mean that I did not enjoy it. Coleslaw was on point, I can't comment on the pickles because I take them out, but overall this is a great Sando, and I wouldn't mind having it again. Overall, if I'm ever housesitting again for my brother, I would definitely hit up the spot, but me personally, I wouldn't drive out of my way, 40min, to get one. Lives up to the hype. First time visiting and I get the hype. The food was really good and the dudes working there were nice. I went with the bacon, egg, and cheese and it didn't disappoint. I'm not a fan of jalapeños so their jalapeño ketchup wasn't my favorite, but even with it the sandwich was great. I'll just get it without next time. The bread is delicious and their bacon is better than almost all of the local restaurants. My wife got the Ben Franklin and loved it. She loves hollandaise, but can be a bit particular (snobby) with her hollandaise sauce. This one got a big thumbs up. Whenever I am in the La Habra area I make it a point to come and order breakfast here. You will not be disappointed. It is quite small inside but there is also an outside patio for additional seating. It is very uniquely decorated and I love the little sayings on the wall as well as the beautiful little neon light that is shown in my photo. I ordered the Bacon Egg & cheese sandwich and it is literally mouth watering. That is my go to lol I have not yet ordered another sandwich but I plan too! They are not stingy with the bacon and it always is freshly made, none of that frozen fast food taste here. The person at the register is always lovely and kind so that is very much appreciated as well. Highly recommend trying this place out if you're ever in the area. I came midday for an egg sandwich as they have quite a variety to choose from. It's located in a strip mall of fast-casual eateries and has both indoor and patio seating. I ordered the country fried chicken sandwich with an orange juice. Pay at the counter, get your pager, and wait for it to buzz. They apparently cook to order as the sandwich came out piping hot after about 15 minutes. The large piece of chicken breast was covered in a crispy buttermilk coating with an over-medium egg on top. Some pickles and a Calabrian chili spread were also included between the toasted Japanese milk bun. A side of gravy was provided on the side for dipping. The chicken was tender and juicy and I appreciated the egg was medium and not runny as the whole thing was plenty messy enough. I can't take much spice so luckily the spread was rather mild. The gravy was delicious but the bun was so delicate that the gravity involved in dipping the sandwich was too much for it to handle. A couple of dips and it was disintegrating. So I ended up not using much gravy although I was tempted to get a straw and slurp it up. The ham was fried nicely and added some texture to the sandwich and arugula provided the natural pepper for the sandwich. The bread was lightly toasted and provided a textural element. The breakfast poutine was good and the beer fries were still crunchy. The cheese sauce was light but what cut through all the fatness was the chimichurri. The biscuits and gravy was willing. The biscuits were light and the heavy sausage gravy was just right and complemented each other well. The cashier was nice and offered suggestions. Perfectly soft and fluffy scrambled eggs, caramelized onions, sharp cheddar cheese and a delicious spread sandwiched between a toasted Japanese milk bun. Breakfast Poutine - 4/5 Stars: I was excited to try this because it sounded good and was highly recommended by other Yelpers but it didn't blow me away. Don't get me wrong, it was still good, but the popcorn chicken was a bit hard and dry. There were only about 5-6 small pieces of chicken too. I did enjoy the beer battered potatoes, country gravy and soft poached egg though. Indoor seating as well as 4 small tables outside are available. Expect a long wait for your food once you place your order. Probably the one con about Eggbred is the wait which seemed ridiculously long for a fast casual joint. The food was Great! My wife got the sausage breakfast burrito and it was very good. The salsa on the side was not too spicy and she used it with most of the burrito. The potatoes in the burrito really added to it and made it unique. The balance of all of the ingredients made for an excellent breakfast burrito. I had a Nashville Hottie sandwich as we went there for lunch. I personally was hoping for it to be spicier. I wasn't asked for a spice level and it was Very mild. The flavor was great, just wish it were spicier. The restaurant was very busy at lunch, but the food came out relatively quickly. The only downside I can think of was their lack of drink selection. The egg exploded and yolk dripped all over me. The napkins they give out here are thinner than the toilet paper in the bathroom. Wow! Another Banger in the same shopping center. This place is unique in their menu options. Everything looks delicious. I tried the chorizo poutine and it was fantastic! They were out of salsa which I wasn't told ahead of time not sure when it ran out, but overall the burrito was so lackluster I wouldn't go back unless they added more seasoning to every aspect of it. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and my friend got the Benjamin Franklin. My burrito was packed full of goodness. The chorizo was flavorful without being too spicy. I loved the beer battered fries inside. My friend devoured her sandwich which was a play on eggs Benedict. Staff were kind. With food this good I was surprised it wasn't packed. Husband got the breakfast burrito and that was quite a good size and yum. Friend got a burger which ended up being a lot smaller than I expected for a meal. Overall though the food was pretty good. However, there was a lot of disposable items used. The water station uses plastic cups. Even though I said we were ordering "for here" my food came in a to go container, which I guess could be useful for easily taking away left overs. And the utensils are those prepackaged utensils+napkin in a sealed plastic bag. For me personally, that much waste is a pretty significant downside for me and makes me not inclined to return. read more

My boss had recommended it when she found out I was moved out this way. She told me what she and her wife got and that there was poutine that she didn't try last time. So I placed my order and they give me the buzzer. I went outside to wait but they do have a really nice indoor dining area. The outside patio was nice it was a beautiful day and on another I can see myself coming to eat here. So I love a poutine, how can you not? Potatoes, cheese and gravy as a general base and this one has their popcorn chicken. Not your typical breaded popcorn chicken but a light almost Korean style chicken? Idk I didn't do too much research but I know that it was freaking amazing. The sausage gravy was delicious and the potatoes are like spiral cut beer batter thick fat fries *insert drooling emoji* My MamaDearest wanted a bacon burrito and the way she looked at me when she ate it made me feel like for one time I beat my brother at making my mom happy. Came here today with my son as we wanted to try something different. This place is located in a small shopping center. We got lucky we found a parking spot. First glance at the place it cute with all kinds of cool egg drawings. It has a small sitting area outside and about 8 tables inside. My son and I ordered the egg and cheese sandwich and he also ordered the Ben Franklin sandwich. The eggs on the egg and cheese one are nice and fluffy and had a nice flavor. The bread was so nice and soft . We also ordered the breaded potatoes, they are just like potatoes wedges but better! The Ben Franklin come with a different kind of bread sort of like a croissant but in a roll. It also comes with a side of Benedict sauce. They really liked it. The breakfast poutine comes with beer battered potatoes, buttermilk popcorn chicken, country sausage gravy, soft poached egg, cheddar jack, roasted pepper chimichurri and chives. The overall flavor was good, but I preferred if there was more gravy and a little more cheese. The chicken was crispy and the potatoes were like mini potato wedges. Placed an order over the phone and was told that it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant 15 minutes later and waited for another 30 minutes. Still waiting and as i follow up with the worker (different from the cashier who took my payment), he acts confused and turns out they didn't even print my ticket nor start my order. The workers in the kitchen laugh and act like it's whatever. No apologies. They then go like "hey who's gonna make the poutine" (my order) and the workers acting like no one wants to make it and are just laughing. They just keep talking saying "it's not my fault". A masterpiece for the taste buds loaded with eggs, beer battered potatoes (what?!? ) cheese, impossible "sausage" (yes you can get regular sausage) all wrapped up in a warm tortilla that I dipped it in a spicy salsa verde. Perfection. Since all food is cooked fresh to order be prepared to wait just a few minutes longer than fast food, but it WORTH THE WAIT...while you enjoy the light, bright and fun decor with lively music playing. I greatly appreciate the community focused, locally sourced food prepared with love. Please give this restaurant a try. We need more mall businesses like this in our community.
