This place is super cute. I love the decor on the inside and the egg themed mural with lots of egg pun quotes. I got the hash. Husband got the breakfast burrito and that was quite a good size and yum. Friend got a burger which ended up being a lot smaller than I expected for a meal. Overall though the food was pretty good. However, there was a lot of disposable items used. The water station uses plastic cups. Even though I said we were ordering "for here" my food came in a to go container, which I guess could be useful for easily taking away left overs. And the utensils are those prepackaged utensils+napkin in a sealed plastic bag. For me personally, that much waste is a pretty significant downside for me and makes me not inclined to return. read more

For egg sandwiches, I was a little skeptical that an egg sandwich for a fast casual restaurant could be so well received, However, with even the first bite, I was really impressed with the quality of the sandwich. I tried the Fried Chicken Sandwich. The fried chicken was done well with a tasty crunchy exterior with moist chicken meat inside. As expected, the egg was nicely fried that melded well with the rest of the sandwich. I love that the bun was more brioche like to give it a little sweetness. A tad bit on the pricey side, but you are getting a pretty filling and high quality product. This place was super busy when I went during lunch on Saturday that the cashier had to warn me that the wait would be thirty minutes... A little longer than I was hoping but appreciated she warned me in advance. Because this place is popular, the parking does get a little difficult as it does share the lot with other businesses. There are some people who parked along the street, but if you are lucky, you will be able to find parking in the lot. My sister and I wanted a quick breakfast bite in the area and found this place. I got The Ben Franklin sandwich and my sister got the cheddar chive biscuit and gravy side and a cold brew. The sandwich was as tasty as it looked. The English muffin had a nice chew and slight toasted crisp to it and the ham was well seasoned. I wished the arugula was added without the truffle dressing though because the arugula ended up being a greasy blob in the sandwich and I didn't taste any of the truffle. Also, the sandwich was much smaller than expected. Overall it was a pretty good breakfast sandwich, but $12-good? I don't know..... My sister didn't enjoy her meal very much. Being curious, I tried the cold brew and it was really watered down. Also, although the gravy on the biscuit was super flavorful, the biscuit itself was dense and tough (thought I was almost going to break the plastic fork from it lol). Things that are hits and things that are misses. If you're still curious about this place then go for it. I ordered the rib eye steak sandwich and was a bit disappointed that the thinly shaved beef was bunched together like a burger and the flavor was quite muddled. My friend had the Ben Franklin and I found that to be much tastier, cleaner, and distinct in flavor even though I never choose ham by choice! Placed an order over the phone and was told that it would be ready in about 15 minutes. I got to the restaurant 15 minutes later and waited for another 30 minutes. Still waiting and as i follow up with the worker (different from the cashier who took my payment), he acts confused and turns out they didn't even print my ticket nor start my order. The workers in the kitchen laugh and act like it's whatever. No apologies. They then go like "hey who's gonna make the poutine" (my order) and the workers acting like no one wants to make it and are just laughing. They just keep talking saying "it's not my fault". I get that good vibes in the kitchen are important but thats just bad service. Really annoying and cant believe i waited almost an hour for takeout breakfast. read more

This place is clean and since it's sandwiches people tend to eat fats so even thought there is a line it will be easy to get a seat. We just went on a hike with my dog and was looking for a patio fast food place. Service was so friendly and nice! The food here was amazing and came out super quick! I really loved this place even when we just picked up our food. We got a few sandwiches and one poutine. Out food was ready when we got there and stayed warm throughout the drive home. I got the Scramble Me Softly with added bacon and it was absolute heaven. I'm normally not a big egg person, but I could eat this sandwich pretty often. The eggs were just so soft and light and the bacon was crisp and salty. The cheese gave it a sharp and rich taste and the chives gave it a bit of freshness. They have a great variety of sandwiches to choose from along with several dishes that aren't a sandwich and one of the best things is that they serve their breakfast sandwiches until they close! The prices here are very reasonable for the quality of food that you are getting and this place reminds me of another popular breakfast sandwich restaurant based in LA which is Eggslut! If you have had their sandwiches, then you are also gonna love the ones here at Eggbred! The cold brew that I got was great and smooth! They also ask if you want cream or sugar on the side. The sandwich I got was very delicious and the eggs were so soft and mixed with the cheddar & the onions, everything worked together to give you a great tasting sandwich. The milk buns were a definite highlight! The biscuits and gravy were delicious and it's definitely the best version I've had of the dish so far! Very high quality, but also very expensive for what it is; $10 with tax for a sausage egg and cheese sandwich on white bread (yes it's brioche but at this point everything's brioche, it's not a selling point). And why is the kid's cheeseburger only a dollar less, when it has substantially less going on? I can't argue the taste/freshness of everything (the Smothered Yard Pimp Burrito is probably my favorite breakfast burrito ever) but I'm never truly 100% satisfied eating here. I always feel like I could have saved and got something comparable, and only really eat here when I have this specific craving. I'll leave 5 stars because the food deserves it, but with an added * about the pricing; it's for sure trying to do the "trendy modern chic" that every new restaurant is pushing now, but not every meal should be almost $20 per person to get a sandwich a side and a drink. read more

Our order consisted of two sandwiches: Bacon Egg & Cheese and The Country Fried Chicken. We also splurged and shared a side of potatoes. Both sandwiches were delicious. Loved the smoked jalapeño ketchup on the Bacon Egg & Cheese. Nothing overpowering in taste or spice, but elevated a standard sandwich to a new level. The chicken on The Country Fried Chicken was crisp, juicy, and generous in size. All the components perfectly complemented the sandwich. The Japanese milk bun they're using on all of the sandwiches is also on point! Additionally, potatoes were fried crispy and were a fantastic side dish. They were busy when I came in and the staff working was small. They worked efficiently and as a team handling both in-person and online orders. Those in the kitchen making the sandwiches did an amazing job on ensuring all sandwiches were crafted carefully and beautifully, though there was a constant stream of orders. Came here at a whim because we were starving and we saw it on Yelp! First time! First of all, i liked their menu and plenty to choose from. Second, I was upset at the fact that I had to wipe down my own table and then while I was doing that an employee saw me and ended up wiping other tables but ours. (There were plenty of employees working that day as they were switching off from the register). It's just a small restaurant so you can literally over look everything. Third, food was amazingly good! We had the avocado toast and the chorizo hash. Flavor, all there. Wish the potatoes were a little crispier and that the actual bread on the avocado toast wasnt so burnt. Retrieved the free drink over yelp and got the blood orange juice- it was okay. Fourth, my fiance and I left the place and driving back home we both ended up getting a really bad stomach ache and both got diarrhea once we got home. Ordering experience was good. We did our research before going so we knew what we wanted to order. There's a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and egg dishes and we got the Chorizo Breakfast Sandwich and Build A Benny with Ribeye. The food was ready in a few minutes and both dishes were very tasty and fresh. There's a fun mural on one wall and Gudetama hanging out with his bacon buddy over the trash cans. You can enjoy your delicious made from scratch meal indoors with comfortable air conditioning when it's too hot outside, or outside on a nice day. There are clean all gender bathrooms. It was our first time here and we had breakfast. There were about 4 other parties and some pick up orders. The door was opening for new guests every few minutes so this looks like a popular spot. I first came to EggBred when it opened in La Habra roughly 3-4 years ago and was super excited for it to open. I have been to EggBred a handful of times and their sandwiches are always so tasty. When it first opened, I was kind of shocked that they would open on in La Habra (which very few people seem to know is actually a city) since it is basically a knockoff/copy-cat of Eggslut in Grand Central Station Downtown Los Angeles. On my most recent visit, I decided to mobile order via the online connection to toast and it took around 20 minutes from when I placed the order to when it was ready to be picked up. I have sat inside before and it can get a bit noisy. The food takes a little while to prepare, but is well worth the wait. My go-to is always the scramble me softly with extra caramelized onions. The sandwich is always cooked to perfection, however this last time I noticed the sandwich was a bit smaller than I remember it. Before the sandwich used to fill the entire paper container, whereas now there is a little room to wiggle. Regardless I enjoy this establishment and would recommend this to friends visiting from out of town since it is just like the sandwiches that you would get from EggSlut without the wait, crows, or insane commute/parking situation. read more
