I always order the chicken medium spice (usually is a bit spicy), but lately, it has barely had any seasoning or flavor. The fries have also been underseasoned and just haven't been as good as they used to be. I don't like leaving negative reviews because I genuinely love this place, but after three disappointing orders in a row, I felt like I had to say something. When I got home I looked at my computer and it appears the order didn't submit after all. It was all my mistake, but the team at Ike's was so nice and went out of there way when I was there. They not only apologizing but offered to make something else and removing the item from the check. My plate was fine and the honestly there is enough pancakes to feed two people. I also watched Brian check and prepare our order, and I was impressed by how careful and precise he was. He made sure we had all the sauces and extras we requested. I've been to other California Fish Grill locations, but the presentation at this particular location is top notch! Everything looked fresh and was prepared with care. The restaurant was clean, the temperature was comfortable despite the heat outside, and the music created a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the drink selection was excellent. Great food, great service, and wonderful attention to detail. Definitely one of the better California Fish Grill locations I've visited!
