    Swedish Pancake Platter
    Mikka V.

My favorite brunch spot in Camarillo! For a classic Camarillo experience, you've got to try this place and try to go on the weekdays since the weekends can get pretty crowded. I love the swedish pancakes but there are several must tries here like the omelettes and famous cottage fries! Also, 5/5 stars for our server Hugo! He's so attentive and friendly. A nice touch is the Camarillo Ranch house painting on the wall as well as the complimentary swedish pancake offered at the beginning of your visit.

Their crepes always hit and love that they always give them when you sit down. This was my third time dining here. And I hate to say that I was disappointed. I ordered the same thing I ordered before: chicken enchilada omelette but this time it was lacking flavor. It was unfortunate and I thought it was just me but my mom ordered the same thing and mentioned it lacked salt. Service was excellent and attentive. Always get my cup of coffee refilled no questions asked. And the place is always clean. Next time I will order something new.

Service 4 Food 4 Our food was good. Service was okay. The restaurant is a bit noisy, but it's the sort of commotion you expect from a busy diner. Nothing crazy though. We ordered: Southwestern Salad (8/10) it was a large portion and my bf didn't have any complaints. Breakfast Tacos, Beef (8.5/10). They were large tacos very flavorful Additionally we got eggs and sausages on the side. Our toddler loved the sausages so all in all, good food. Service was okay, our server may have been overwhelmed but we didn't feel like the service was an issue. Overall a nice, filling breakfast. Can't complain

    French toast 10/10

Great food! Everything was fresh and delicious. I got the French toast it was perfect. Not too sweet or eggy, you can add toppings to it like fresh fruit or whipped cream. Great coffee too. Also you get a free Swedish pancake with your order! Which they were so delicious! Service wise they were super nice and attentive, constantly coming over to ask if we needed anything. Friendly attitude. No issues. Locations has a private parking lot but there are other restaurants so it does get crowded. Not tons to do around the area, small shops, but mainly other food places. I still liked it though! Nice place to eat!

Came here with my little one to have a little date. Such a brunch vibe and love it. Waitress was very friendly and considerate for my son. When I ordered asked what fruit did I prefer mainly to know if I was sharing with him and what he would like. Food was good! I enjoyed the Italian omelette. They have a really good garlic hot sauce or something on the table. Never had that before. My son had the kids chicken tenders and gobbled it up. Overall enjoyed the experience. Close to home so will come back!

Brunch with friends on a Monday morning. No problem getting a table at 11 AM. The restaurant is located in a strip mall just off Las Posas. Lots of free parking right in front of the restaurant. Catherine, our server, came by soon after we sat down to get our beverage order. Service remained very good throughout (coffee frequently refilled and reheated). I went with the Italian omelet with a side of fruit and a plain bagel ($16). Very tasty. My wife got the California omelet with a side of potatoes ($16). That one was outstanding! Clean restaurant with fair prices, very good service, and very good food. Great place for a casual brunch.

It's always a great morning at Eggs n Things. My go-to order is one biscuit with sausage gravy for $6.50. I deducted a star because the ice water tasted like drinking from the garden hose, but the Santa Barbara Cold Brew was a pleasant surprise.

Where do I begin? Although the customer service was decent, the food was awful! Very disappointed with it. Details: My hibiscus mimosa was not tasty. I ordered the chicken fried steak. My husband, the NY steak and eggs. I asked for over hard eggs. They seemed like flat crepe eggs. The potatoes tasted a week old and were over cooked and burnt. My chicken steak was very salty. My husband asked for a medium rare steak. It was over cooked. The waitress took it back only to bring him an over seasoned, extremely salty steak that was very tough to chew. He sent it back and decided we go to McDonald's instead. The only good thing was the complimentary crepe they bring. Don't recommend this place.

The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was enjoyable and very clean. Although they were pretty busy, the wait was worth it. Our waitress, Charmaine, was attentive and friendly. She ensured our coffee cups were always full and frequently checked in to see if we needed anything. Our food was delicious, and we truly enjoyed visiting this restaurant after our little guy's softball game. It was a wonderful treat for our family.

Eggs were the highlight, but the things were not bad either! Very classic diner vibes, so nothing too unique to report, but just solid quality execution. Very friendly vibe too!

My 1st visitTo this place.. simple tables & chairs but neat. A little tight in some areas of the dining room fast service. My only concern is the morning Joe is a bit weak for my buds. Other than that food was hot & served fast Do visit.

Omg! This place is absolutely adorable. The food was delicious and our waitress was the sweetest! Her service is unmatched! Super friendly place. I will definitely be back with friends for more.

Early bird, omelet with sausage and hash brown

This is my first time eating at this location. The decorations are giving the same vibes as the other locations. Everything is very fast too. Ordering is easy as I just ate at eggs n things the other day. We ordered the early bird ( before 9 am ) I got the corned beef and eggs and potatoes. It's good but very little corned beef, a thin spread. maybe it's the early bird size. Anyhow.. done eating and when paying, I got charged as the regular price. My waitresses said that I ordered from the regular price thus, I got the potatoes. I don't mind paying the extra but I did ordered it from the early bird as I point it out from the menu when I ordered it. My husband even make sure that it was from early bird and then she proceeded with repeating our orders. Later she apologized for the " confusion " . The $5 confusion

Since 2011, Good Morning Café has been serving up great experiences, and I can't believe I hadn't been there before! It was a fantastic find in my Camarillo breakfast hunt. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, but we always love to sit outside so that we have a really good view of the aircraft coming and going. I tried the BLT and, oh my!!! One of the best I've had, with lots of thick cut bacon, very crisp, lots of lettuce, tomato and mayo (I ordered it as-is). Half was the size of a regular sandwich so the other half went home with me! RRR ordered the triple decker club on sourdough and loved his as well. Half of his went home also. We both got the cole slaw as our side which has a little pineapple in it. I found it ok, RRR really liked it. We shared a special milkshake, pistachio, and it was heavenly, highly recommended. Service was perfect, there when needed but not overbearing. We so appreciate well-trained staff! Highly recommended.

Today we had to be out of the house due to Edison maintenance in your neighborhood. We were originally headed for Ojai, but we were hungry and didn't want to wait that long to get food. I suggested Waypoint since it was a weekday and hopefully wouldn't be that crowded. We hit them just before a lunch rush came along about 30 minutes later. it's probably been a while, but their ordering procedure has changed since the last time we were there. Now you enter, go to the host stand, and order and pay there. Then they give you a number for your order and a host takes you out to a table. It's a variation on fast casual. The idea is that they will start cooking your food as soon as you pay, and the process will flow smoothly from there. They have a lot of runners bringing out the food, and offering additional condiments or other things you might need, like more water or napkins. There are several reasons that I'm downgrading the rating from a previous visit. $18 for a plain Belgian waffle? No fruit, garnish, whipped cream, just melted butter and a very small amount of syrup. It looked more substantial because we added eggs and bacon for $3 more. The latter seems like a good deal, because the eggs were well prepared. Only two slices of bacon, though. DH and I split the plate. $21 for a plain waffle, scrambled eggs, and two pieces of bacon does seem excessive. We added a side of hash browns, which were plentiful, but were also oily. I don't remember having hash browns in another restaurant which were that greasy, so that was a fail. $9 for two cups of decaf coffee? That also seemed on the high side, especially when a tiny (and I do mean tiny!) addition of oat milk for creamer was $1.50. Really? And yet, they offered mini portions of hazelnut or French vanilla creamer for free. But we didn't know that ahead of time. A large glass of lukewarm pineapple juice was $6. I had to ask for a glass of ice cubes to be able to chill the juice down to where it tasted good. By the way, the waffle was slightly overcooked for my preference, making it more crunchy than I enjoy. Overall, it was $50 for a breakfast that DH and I split, just adding the hash browns and juice to stretch the meal. Service was good. It was the kitchen that let down the team. Also, ambiance-wise, the airport has added a large row of hangars to the northwest of the restaurant, which dramatically cuts down the view of the planes taking off and landing. That's actually another fail for the appeal of dining here. It's likely going to be a while before we return. Sad to report today's experience, but that's what it turned out to be - not the lovely little secret getaway of the past.
