We stopped by with a party of 4 on a Sunday morning around 9am and were seated immediately. Everyone from the greeter to the server to the staff were nice and accommodating. Our server was quick to take our drink orders and the coffee was delicious. Everyone who ordered finished their meals as each one was delicious. I had the country ham, grits and fruit and everything was really good. Others in my party got the Philly cheese steak omelette and others got French toast and pancakes and they were all really good. My coffee was always full as their was one person whom I assumed to be the owner coming around with fresh coffee every so often. The place was clean and the customer service was really good. Wish I would be writing about this restaurants product but I did not get the chance to experience. March 27, a Sunday morning after church service and like most breakfast restaurants there was a wait. As a party of one (1) I made it inside and observe no one sitting at their bar (not one seat occupied) and asked if I could be seated there. I was informed "NO" until they got caught up. Could not even get my name on their "wait list". Needless to state that after nearly 20 minutes of witnessing larger parties of 2 and more being seated I had not choice but to leave. read more

Two visits. Excellent service both times and the food was delicious! I love how bright, clean and welcoming the decor is. I can't even remember what it looked like when it was Hwy 55. The prices seem a touch high, but are in line with other breakfast places. It's just hard to pay $10 for a waffle or pancakes when you know the ingredients are so inexpensive. But alas, that's just the way it is when you eat out for breakfast I suppose. read more

It was a childless weekend so the fiancé and I tried to take advantage and we went out for brunch. It used to be our thing to discover different places to eat in our area and we are still fairly new here so we wanted to try this particular EUG. While we are not new to EUG (we've been to the ones in Charleston, SC; Summerville, SC; and there's another one not far from here - Charlotte, maybe... he's also been to one in Myrtle Beach, SC), this location was new to us. We could tell it was new by their egg counter - it was around 60K. Also, the air about the restaurant told us that it was still a fairly new location. When we walked inside on that cold Sunday morning, we were told to have a seat at the front bench. Someone came right up to us within a minute and we were sat a four top table by a friendly lady. I didn't catch her name unfortunately, but I did notice that she would welcome and say goodbye to guests as they came and went. Our server came up to our table and seemed a bit timid at first, but she was also very friendly. I want to say her name was Audrey or Aubrey. She got our drink order and it came out promptly. I ALWAYS order the hot chocolate!! It's delicious and as usual, it did not disappoint!!! It was perfect especially on this cold Sunday! I did notice that all the mugs do not have the "Eggs Up Grill" logo like all the other ones we've been to. So all the mugs are bare, black mugs and not the signature mugs I'm used to seeing at EUG. No big deal, the hot chocolate was not changed by this - still delicious! Per our server's rec, I did order the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes (that I had been eyeing since I saw it on the menu). I added scrambled eggs and bacon on the side - yum! He ordered The Grand Classic with eggs, sausage links, home fries, grits and toast. He also ordered the Smokehouse mac & cheese bowl to go because he could not decide between the two even though we came in and he had his heart set on breakfast when we came in. I noticed it took a while to get our food out. I looked around and there were 16 tables with 9 of them with 2 people sitting at those tables. At the kitchen area, there were quite a few plates ready and at least 2-3 people standing there talking at any given moment. I don't know whose plates were ready or what the policy is to bring food out, but by the time plates did start going out, we got our food, a table that had been sat well before we got there got their food after us and they were also a table of two. So, let me tell you about the pancakes. Do NOT add syrup to them because you do not need that!! They are soooooo good!! WOW!! SO delicious! The strawberries were fresh, the pancakes were fluffy, and whatever the cheesecake filling is, it was creamy and so yummy! I'd get it again! The bacon was delicious, too. Some parts of it was crispy and some it wasn't. It was fine because I don't have a preference. I just know I love the way the bacon taste! The egg was my only eyebrow raiser because it was a bit crunchy. Turns out I found egg shells in the eggs. I pull out an egg shell, but I don't finish the eggs because I'm wondering if I missed any other shells hidden inside the scrambled eggs. Fiancé did not leave me wondering how his meal was as his plate was clean minus the few squares of home fries he had left for me - he knows I love the home fries here. However, I could not finish them as I did not anticipate the pancakes to be as filling as they were. Mind you, he orders the Grand Classic often so he wasn't surprised by this meal, BUT he did say he was pleasantly surprised by the sausage links as he actually liked them today. He said he doesn't usually like sausage at restaurants but wanted to see if he'd like them today and he was happy to report that he did like them today. I can not report on what he said about the Smokehouse mac & cheese bowl as he did not eat it yet, but I'm sure when he does, I will sneak a bite out of it. I'm sure we will come back to this location again as it is the most convenient to us and his favorite brunch place is EUG! read more

I'm having such a hard time with this review. We really wanted to love this place. When you step inside it's clean, there's a decent amount of seating and an outdoor area if you choose. We sat at the bar and could see the kitchen staff was working incredibly hard. However, the timing of the kitchen is off. We waited an hour for avocado toast, and pancakes and eggs. The eggs that came with my avocado toast weren't cooked all the way and had egg shells in them. The wait staff was also working really hard and attentive. If the kitchen could nail down a better system it would be a better experience. read more

This review is based on three visits to Eggs Up Grill. First, they are new and are still getting a few of the wrinkles worked out in running a new restaurant. Not everything is perfect. The new owners are trying hard. With that said, I have always had good service on my visits and was always immediately seated and served coffee. Their bold coffee is lovely. It's rich without being too robust or bitter. The food has been delicious--the baked peaches and cream pancakes were delightful. The caramelized fresh peaches were baked, as opposed to the sliced peaches poured out of a can. The dollop of cream cheese on top of the pancakes was huge, but that was fine as I slide what I did want to the side of the plate. The shrimp and grits omelet was served hot and fresh. It was nicely filled with shrimp, andouille sausage, green peppers, sautéed onions, and Swiss cheese. The fire-roasted tomato and spinach grits served with the omelet were a step up from ordinary grits. The side of fruit was fresh cut, not canned, and without blemishes. I live nearby and have eaten here probably 10 times. The food has been consistently good, but There is room for improvement. Pro: we've tried omelets (Create your own with sausage & cheese) as well as the Patty O'Sullivan and both were tasty. Ordered multiple times and very yum. Pancakes and French toast seem to be the best and most consistently good items. Delicious bananas foster French toast. Burger was just average. Waitstaff has been friendly and I'd give them a B+ all around. A few are slow to refill coffee and had to be asked. Con: like most places with too little help, prepare to wait. Toast is often just warmed up buttered bread and bacon isn't cooked crispy (even when ordered as such). Some items have been over cooked (sausage) or cold upon arrival. For instance yesterday it was a long wait for food - about 45 minutes after ordering and they weren't crazy busy but my toast and bacon weren't ready so I sat eating my omelet. I let the server know and she got the items asap. But like most customers I don't complain a lot, but I also don't CRAVE going there, if that makes sense. It's my place to go when we Don't want to travel far and no one wants to cook breakfast. read more

So I have frequented Eggs up Grill in many different locations. I normally order the same thing at every single one. Egg bomb BLT and home fries. Well my egg bomb blt was dry and needed mayo but my waitress never came back to the table while i was eating. the coffee was bitter. and the home fries weren't even really cooked. more like boiled. nothing about that was like a fry. the waitress never refilled my water. and i'm just overall really disappointed. not to mention it smells like wet dog and idk if it's just the place i'm sitting near the kitchen or what. anyways. don't recommend this location. read more

Excellent service from Amanda! A little wait but that's everywhere people are short staffed! I appreciate those that came in! But... food was delicious. It came out cold and Amanda took it back and got me fresh hot food! I had swirl French toast, bacon, eggs and home fries and the cinnamon swirl mocha too! Placed an order online and showed up at the pick up time and was told "your order is in the very back of the line". They never did figure out why the ordering system was messed up nor did they express any interest in finding a timely remedy to the situation. But they did go to the standard line of "being short staffed". Unfortunately, that has become the standard line these days when service is not what it should be. We ate here for brunch on a Sunday. First time at this location. Have been to others and first dined at their original near the beach in SC. This location was phenomenal. Excellent server & wonderful meal. What made this experience a five star was the small touches. Most restaurants won't allow you to deviate from the sides that come with a meal. This restaurant accommodated our requests... side waffle and gluten free pancake. We were so impressed with flexibility and they were delicious. My husband said the corned beef hash was the best he's had. We will definitely go back as it was such a refreshing experience! read more

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND--"MANAGER" HEATHER IS RUDE AND AWFUL TO CUSTOMERS!! Our family dines out together on a very regular basis and arrived Sunday morning at 9:50 (5 adults and 4 children, including 2 under the age of 2). We were informed of a 25 minute wait to which we had no problem. After 25-30 minutes and the table that we had been waiting for had finally cleared, the employee came to us where we were waiting by the restrooms (no other place to wait for a table) and told us that we would have to wait for one of three large tables to empty because she had to separate the tables that had been pulled together for the other large group that had just left. She said that they were not allowed to pull tables together on Sunday mornings; however, the tables were already together from the previous family. When we asked for a manager (as employees were then separating the tables and seating people who came in long after us), Heather very smirkingly replied, "I am the manager!" HEATHER is the RUDEST individual and definitely DOES NOT belong in a management position!! She kept cutting us off as we were trying to speak and insisting that we had to wait until one of three larger tables cleared to be seated and those tables were no where near finished. They were all still eating and some customers had just seated at one. She kept on insisting that they could not keep the tables together that had already been pulled together when we arrived. She offered no option other than to wait for one of the three larger tables. I asked if she was willing to chance that five adults could write a bad review for the bad experience and she just kept saying the same thing over and over. I told her that we were all leaving and to expect her name in the reviews and that I would find a manager over her to report to. The owner approached and asked what was going on and as I was trying to explain, Heather kept rudely interrupting trying to cut my communication off until I told her that I was trying to speak with the owner and she needed to stop rudely interrupting. At that point, she was trying to "cover her butt" and say that she was trying to offer us another option and pull tables together in a different section. She had never tried to offer the option until I mentioned bad reviews with her name. At this point, my daughters and son-in-law had taken all the hungry children out who had waited 30 minutes to be told that we couldn't have a table after all. The owner asked what he could do, but our family was not going back into a restaurant where a "manager" could treat customers so rudely. This isn't my first time to an eggs up grill I have previously been to the myrtle beach location. But, when we walked in we were greeted by Danielle who is super friendly and told us to sit wherever we would like. Danielle got our drink order and informed us Tanya (hope I spelled that right) would be with us shortly. Tanya was super pleasant matter of fact EVERYONE there was nice! A VERY bad experience from start to finish. Table was sticky and waiter acted like he was put out when asked to clean it. Silverware was dirty. waiter asked specifically what I wanted. I pointed to the item on the menu. He pointed to it to confirm. Order was wrong. when asked, waiter again looked at menu and said, oh...there's supposed to he an egg. Rather than offering to bring correct order, he asked "where do you want your egg?". Then I was over charged. When waiter was asked to correct the bill, he said "I gave you the bigger item, that's why you were charged more.". I told him that was not what I ordered. He said you already paid with a credit card. Do you want cash? A complete waste of time and a bad experience brought on by one waiter with a bad attitude. I will never return there! read more

The staff lacks common sense skills and customer service such as acknowledging customers as they enter, table follow up, refilling drinks and making eye contact multiple times but ignoring you as you sit poised for your bill and displaying all the signs that you've finished your meal (dishes and trash neatly stacked in front of you). I witnessed a family of 3 enter, sit at a table, be ignored, moved to the counter where 3 waitresses moved back and forth in front of them but continue to ignore them. That family finally got up and left. The home fries taste like cheap spray oil. The eggs are not scrambled but more like broken yolk and a quick stir in the pan. My wife and I have been going to the Fort Mill restaurant for over a year every Saturday and Sunday morning and have been mostly satisfied but last Saturday 5/20/2023 we went in and the slim girl that appears to be about 14 at the podium tried to sit us at a table that we were not happy with and we asked could we sit elsewhere and she said no. This surprised us because usually it is seat yourself. So we left and I informed her that we come every week and would not be back, all we got was a stare. I understand the owner is a pilot, this is what happens when you let children run (ruin) your business. We moved from Fort Mill in October to Indian Land but we kept going back, now we can save some gas. read more

This was my second time visiting this location. First time was just as awful. Today, we sat at the table for about 10 minutes before any of the waitresses even acknowledged us (meanwhile they were all just standing around). Once the waitress took our order, she brought my son the wrong drink and took about 10 minutes to bring us ours while coming over multiple times to say she would be right back. Once she finally took our food order and we received it, my husband was almost done with his food he noticed two 2-3 inch hairs on his plate among his food. This could be great.. however, I ordered the gravy biscuits. Plentynof biscuits but just a side of gravy.. very small portion... being a true southerner I need to somther the biscuits in it. I did also order a side scrambled egg which was cold when served. My daughter ordered pancakes, which she said tasted weird. The syrup was already on the table. The syrup should be served warm. The toast she ordered was covered in butter. Hopefully it will get better in time. read more
