Having been a former Door Dasher I used to pick up orders here all the time but this is my first time sitting and actually trying the food. I arrived on a rainy Tuesday morning so as you can imagine the place was not crowded. All part of my plan. The restaurant has a shiny happy people vibe to it that makes you feel good just walking in. As it wasn't crowded I was allowed to pick my seat. There are several booths, a long cushy bench with tables and chairs, lots of regular chair seating and if you want to be close to the action, you can sit at the bar up close near the kitchen and get a good view of how hard the wait staff work! I chose a bench seat in the corner because I hate people. ;) Just kidding. The two waitress's on duty I remember from my DoorDash days and they me. I was presented with utensils and a menu. I was asked if I wanted to start with something to drink right away but I said I'd wait. They gave me a few minutes to look it over and returned. After reviewing the menu I decided to go with an Orange Juice and the Caramel Apple Pancakes. I was asked what size drink I wanted. I went with the small because sometimes you never know about OJ. Some places it can be strong or pulpy. The small was just right and if the large had turned out to be the size of the water cup it would have been too much for me. She also offered the cup of water which I thought was nice and accepted. Ordering the Caramel Apple Pancakes I got a choice of bacon or sausage. I chose sausage. I then got a choice of links or patties. I chose the patties. I liked that I had the options. I prefer sausage to bacon and patties to links. A very short wait later my order arrived. Two plate sized pancakes with hot apples and a caramel sauce drizzled over them. I tried the pancakes as they came thinking adding syrup to them with caramel sauce on them already might be too much sweet on sweet. But the pancake ate dry. They were hot and delicious but I just can't do pancakes without syrup. There was a whole bottle already on the table for me so lets try it! I only poured it out on the side of my plate so I could dip the pancakes in them. It helped make them even better than they were. One thing about the pancakes though, when I forked my bite the bottom layer of them kept peeling off making it a little difficult to eat. My two sausage patties looked yummy. They came with a package of whipped butter. The patties had a good flavor, not thick but not thin either. But I have to say compared to my hot hotcakes, they were a bit cold. Almost like they were premade and sitting under a warming light. If they hadn't hit the griddle with the pancakes I wish they did cause that was the only thing I could find fault with this entire meal. It even left me full but not stuffed. I will definitely be back as I have some waffles and french toast to try!

Stopped by today around 10am. There was a 25 mins wait. Got seated and I ordered the cinnamon bun coffee. Which I didn't care for; it tasted really water down. Then my steak and eggs. Eggs was really nicely done. However. As much as I like the garlic toast. It was soggy: and the whole dish was room temperature. I wanted hot but didn't want to send it back since it will cover cook the steak. Customer service was great.. But I'm not sure this will be my go too:

I will start by saying that the server was a really nice and I know that not all food is gonna look like how it looks on the website, but this is ridiculous. My food did not look appetizing. My home fries came out cold, and I didn't even eat them, and my friend had to return her coffee twice because it was burnt and disgusting. We will never come back.

For anyone who follows my reviews knows I live and die by breakfast! Yeah, I'm breakfast boy from way back. I love the whole breakfast atmosphere at a restaurant. It's really hard to mess up breakfast but it happens sometimes. Stopped by Eggs Up Grill in Fort Mill, SC. Had pretty good reviews, place seemed to be popular because it was crowded so it passed the 121 rule. (Go back to my other reviews to see what that means). The wife and I were excited to try the menu. I got the crab cake benny. Sooo...you ever had a crabby pattie that was a little too crabby? Yeah, it was just a little funky tasting, mushy and bland. The poached eggs were decent, maybe a little over cooked. Finally, Benny is always served on an English muffin. This was served on what seemed like the regular toast they serve with every meal. I wasn't very impressed but my wife seemed to enjoy her breakfast wrap. When I'm in Fort Mill I will try it again, but won't order the over crabby crabby pattie benny. (Say that 3 times fast)

Eggs Up Grill has been a staple of mine for a delicious filling breakfast for quite some time. The food is always good and I always try something different. Breakfast meats are always cooked just right and they have an egg guide on the menu so you know they're not going to mess those up! The griddle items like pancakes and french toast come in creative flavors with delicious seasonal options as well. I can't forget about the coffee which also has many flavor options and I've loved every single one. Service is efficient and kind just like you would expect in a southern diner-like establishment. You can come as you are, this isn't your bougie brunch uptown. The portions are just right to leave you full and happy and they are happy to take care of you. Go ahead and join their e-newesletter for a nice birthday surprise too!

SUPER friendly staff all around. Everyone was smiling. Food was awesome! Got the chorizo scramble and the loaded breakfast bowl. Yum!

The food is mediocre. The fruit was fresh but the strawberries were a little out of season. The wrap was better with the sour cream suggested by the waitress. Overall I expect that the locals love this spot because it was packed. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the building being warm after visiting other restaurants in the area and the heat was low.

It's come a long way since first coming here. I regret to say it's our last. I can expect service being a little slow, however food coming to our table cold and not up to standard par. It's unfortunate that the same passion isn't there as when the establishment was new.

The family and I started our day by visiting the "Eggs Up Grill" before setting out to explore Charlotte. The entire experience was good from start to finish. There was a wait to sit, however it wasn't bad giving it was a Sunday morning. I had the strawberry cheesecake pancakes which were AWESOME!! They are sweet so prepare yourself!!! The rest of the family had the Red White and Blue waffles which seemed fitting for Memorial Day weekend. They seemed to love the fresh fruit and the waffles. Next time we are in area and looking for Brunch we will be back to try out the another item off the menu.

Both meals were delicious. The croissant was perfect, so fluffy and so fresh. The pastries looked really good too, disappointed I didn't grab one of those as well. Service was amazing also. I did notice people drinking while waiting on their table which is a plus. I ordered the savory toast and it was delicious. Light but filling. I also had a chai latte which hit the spot. My fiancé had the poppyseed pancake and omg let me tell you. It was perfect! Sweet but not overly sweet. Moist but not raw with a hint of honey in the mix. The syrup as well had a hit of honey and came out warm. This just added the cherry on the top. Walnuts decorated the tops of the pancakes with a nice crunch and lift sweet taste. The location is great, small yet cozy. If it were a tad bigger, I can see it filling up as well. If I could give this a 10, I would. Don't overthink it, come eat here.

I came in to celebrate my birthday, but the real treat turned out to be the food and the exceptional service from Crystal. She was warm, attentive, and made the entire experience feel special without being overbearing. That kind of genuine hospitality goes a long way. Now let's talk about the food--because wow. The lamb was cooked to perfection: tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The salad was fresh, delicious, and surprisingly filling. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared. And the Eggspectation coffee? Perfection. It sealed all the flavors beautifully and brought the entire meal together. Between the inviting atmosphere, outstanding service, and consistently great food, this place truly checks every box. Honestly, it doesn't even matter what the occasion is--this is the kind of spot you come to because you know you'll leave happy. I will definitely be back again... and again. Highly recommend.
