We had just arrived in a late flight and were super hungry. We ended up seeing this place across from our hotel. It was busy and had to wait for a table. It was first come first serve. It was a little disorganized since you had to claim your own table as soon as you saw someone leave. The food is priced appropriately. I had the typical breakfast of two eggs, bacon, hash brown and a waffle. Everything was good. They work hard in the kitchen. You can see the staff working non stop. Waffle House was recommended by the locals if we wanted to go to a 24/7 diner. A lot of restaurants in SC closes super early, especially in the winter. The bf and I ordered the hash browns, waffles, sausages, and cheese burger. The cheeseburger was so good! Simple, tasty, and refreshing! The waffles surprisingly was A-OK. Not very crispy or fluffy. Just more on the soggy side. The hash browns were crunchy and crispy! Definitely recommend! Service was friendly, but super slow. They took a while to make our waffles. Overall, we will be back for some late night munchies! AS ALWAYS, NOM FOR LIFE! read more

This was the nicest Waffle House we have ever been to . The bathrooms where spotless and the employees were so nice and were having such a good time laughing and singing . The food was the best I've had and I always order the same thing no matter what Waffle House I go to . Something about this place just didn't remind you of a typical Waffle House . Love love love Waffle House...just wish there were some of the up north. This chain hands down has the best tasting waffles out of anyone. A full breakfast (waffle, bacon, eggs, toast, grits and a drink) will run you about $10. It's affordable, fast, and very good. The locations are small but there's barely ever a long wait to be seated. If by one definitely check them out for breakfast. You won't regret it. read more

Extremely unorganized when you get there. when i was finally helped, the server was nice, she seemed pretty overwhelmed but was still friendly. Took my food to go because they were extremely crowded and there was no crowd control considering Covid. My food was cold, had to warm my food up when i got back to my hotel, which was only 6 minutes away. The food didn't taste bad, but i wouldn't eat there again. read more

It's Waffle House so it's just what it is. This one is a touch small but stays heavy traffic. Keeping up with cleaning seems to be a challenge but they try. Service is a touch below the beachfront and CF locations - probably attributable to the people volume. It gets LOUD in here! 90+db constant. If you've never been - it's a cross between a truck stop and a greasy diner. Have some hash browns or grits. Maybe a waffle. Two people can eat here under $10 and leave very filled for about $15-18 You'll leave happy if you don't arrive expecting fine dining. read more

This was my worst experience ever. Walked in, was not greeted nor seated. After figuring out you had to seat yourself, my partner and I sat at the bar area. Even right in front of their faces we were ignored for 20 minutes before we left. The servers and manager were assisting the people behind us as they walked in. One of the servers was playing on her phone ignoring customers. Def do not recommend! read more

We don't have Waffles Houses up north but I sure wish we did. The food is awesome and it's open late. The staff is what you'd expect from a diner at 3 in the morning but there's almost a charm to the cooks and servers screaming at each other. Manager was asleep in a booth next to us and the employees were banging on the register to get it to open. I don't really go for the service so it was great, would highly recommend. read more

Prices were super reasonable, we got out of there without breaking the bank, which is always a win living in tourist town lol. I went for the classic breakfast combo: pancakes, eggs, and corned beef hash. Everything hit the spot perfectly. The pancakes were cooked just right, fluffy on the inside with those nice crispy edges that make you go back for more. My eggs were super runny and dippy, exactly how I like 'em for sopping up with toast. And the corned beef hash? Straight out of the can, but in the best way possible, hearty, salty, and no frills, haha. Service was friendly and quick and seems to have a quite of bit regulars.
