I have been to other Eggs Up Grill locations and had a good experience, this one was a miss for me. Let's start with the positives: It was busy on a Sunday afternoon, but the wait time to get a table was not long (5-10min). So I appreciated that. Inside it's a pretty big space, nice atmosphere and the tables are a good size and some have benches. The staff is very friendly also. Started off strong with the peach mimosa. That was delicious and came with sliced strawberries. My husband enjoyed his cornbeef hash breakfast , I believe that's what he got. Here are the misses for me: I ordered the hashbrown bowl with overeasy eggs and a side of cheesy garlic grits. Miss #1 : The cheesy garlic grits come topped with bacon, it doesn't say that on the menu and I'm not the biggest fan of bacon. I know it's the south, but c'mon let people know if theres bacon! They fixed that no problem. Miss #2: The potatoes in the hashbrown bowl are just diced HUGE. They are way too big! I do not want huge chunks of potato when I imagine a hashbrown bowl. It was just not pleasant to eat for that reason. Also they forgot my eggs so I had to wait for that as well. I would come back, but I would try something else.

This is the famous Shrimp & Grits Bowl, which was so delicious I almost forgot to take a photo!!

Stopped in on a busy Sunday morning at Eggs Up Grill on Ladson Road, and let me tell you--it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the Grand Classic, and it truly lived up to its name. Every breakfast staple was there and cooked to perfection, from the fluffy scrambled eggs to the crispy bacon and creamy grits. Classic comfort food done right! Since it was just me, I grabbed a seat at the bar. Despite the crowd, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure everyone felt taken care of with genuine Southern hospitality. And the cherry on top? I added the grilled blueberry muffin a warm, sweet, slightly crisp masterpiece that sealed the deal on an already great meal. If you're looking for a spot that serves up hearty, delicious breakfast with great service, even on a packed weekend morning, this is it.

Wow. They have pumpkin cream pancakes this fall as one of their specials. It is so good. Best pancakes I've ever had. They are filled with pralines all throughout. They have pumpkin cream in between the pancakes. It so good. I highly recommend. I had a caramel cinnamon smile specially coffee. That's my favorite coffee by them. It has a lot of whipped cream and caramel sauce on top. So yum. I go to Eggs Up about once or twice a month. I love this place. It's my favorite brunch spot. We eat brunch every single weekend. We love Eggs Up the most!

What an awesome breakfast and experience I had at EUG on Ladson. There for a meeting I was quickly greeted and seated. The location offers big booths, tables, and a bar countertop. This allows for large parties or someone dining alone easy access to enjoy a meal. One other touch that impressed me off the bat was how the waitress introduced herself before taking drink orders. I appreciate that touch as I enjoy knowing my servers name. It makes the dining experience more comfortable. And Nicole was awesome too! I ordered the Philly cheesesteak omelette with seasoned potatoes and rye toast. The bread was perfectly toasted and buttery. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Especially the meat and veggies in the omelette. And the seasoned potatoes! The only thing I wanted more of was the cheese inside the omelette. But that's because I love cheese!! I also had plenty of leftovers that reheated well. I'm excited to go back and order more and more from the menu!!

What's up Eggs-up?! I like the menu with good descriptions for their food. I wanted a little bit of everything. I settled for their loaded bowl with turkey sausage that is well seasoned has a good mix of ingredients and tastes wonderfully for breakfast, lunch or dinner (bacon would've been great too). I was pleased to have the server notice the additions to my party. She was highly personable, attentive, and is very helpful with the menu.

Came here last week with a small group. I didn't pick the place so I wasn't sure how the food would be. I was expecting decent breakfast like IHOP. But I was totally wrong cause the food was way better than I thought it would be. I had the Bananas Foster French Toast. The combination of the cinnamon toast with the banana slices and caramel sauce was so perfect (and delicious)! If you like bananas on your French Toast then I highly recommend it. The restaurant was very busy when we came but we were seated after a 15 minute wait. Service was also very good. This is a great place for brunch!

The venue has been updated and has been redone in primarily black and white paint and accents. It's nice - not dated, not trying to look fancier than it is. It's comfortable and approachable. They have taken out many of the tables from the previous spot so you feel like there is room around you to breathe. The chairs are SO comfortable, too. They're inviting and even two hours later we still commented on how good they felt. If you've been to the Riverfront location, the menu will be very familiar. They have added a few new options but have primarily stuck with what they know they do well, which is smart while they're just opening up. We started with the smoked chicken thighs and the deviled eggs (which we ordered when we saw them being delivered to another table and needed to have them!), both SO good. My never-ending pet peeve is when you order something and it comes with too many or not enough for the table - like 5 deviled eggs for a 4-top. For my entree, I ordered the steak frites. I don't eat a lot of red meat, so this was a special treat and they did not disappoint. The medium rare was perfect and the fries were yummy as always. Both of the dessert specials sounded good, so we decided to get them both so everyone at the table could have a bite. I will be back, for sure. My only spot for opportunity was the parking lot. It is VERY dark. I don't know that I would truly feel comfortable walking there at night - there are some trip hazards and it's not the safest if you're alone, so I hope they add in some spotlights and a path.

The facility was clean and well stocked. The quality of food is not worth the crowding or wait time that so many are subjected. As a single person party, I chose to find a seat at the bar. It was not overly large and was monitored by 2 servers. I was fairly quickly addressed to get my drink and I ordered a starter without prompting due to the number of patrons. Another sat beside me but she was overlooked for quite a bit of time, finally having to ask for a menu. Once my starter arrived, the okra basket, I was ignored. The okra was ok but nothing special, standard premade restaurant supply brand of thickish breading that was intermittently soft or crunchy. I was 1/4 way through the basket before I had a chance to request cutlery and seeing that the servers had started to focus only on the person next to me that they had initially overlooked, I also requested my entree. I had reviewed the menu prior to arrival and decided on my order in advanced. Unfortunately it was not available on the brunch menu and lunch was not an available option. I should have asked for the check at that time but selected an omelette instead. While waiting and consuming my starter, I requested a menu draft to be told it was unavailable too. The suggested alternative was decent. My entree arrived about 20 minutes later. It was dry, both the eggs and protein. I was able to request and receive a sauce in a short period of time. My refill did not need to be requested but it was incorrect so I did have to ask for another. I know the staff is most likely good, the popularity produced by the Travel Channel keeps them too busy and complacency is prevalent. I had hoped that the publicity did not change the uniqueness of the menu but I will trust my intuition in the future and continue to avoid these types of restaurants.

This is a pet friendly restaurant and you can see people eating outside with their dogs as early as 11 in the morning. There wasn't any ducks to be seen. Our initial gripe was the service which wasn't particularly warm or friendly (not something that we usually find in Summerville). A patron's connection with a server is probably 75% of your dining experience at an eatery and here it was cold and unassuming. However, what was especially disappointing was the food. My burger was a dry hockey puck and was basically your typical frozen burger that you would order on the cheap from Costco. This isn't typical for a pub, a freshly made burger is usually a staple of Pub fare and it was a surprise that they would serve a frozen paddy. The fries were also nothing special as they were unenjoyable and a disappointment. My guests were also disappointed in their individual meals as well. It's possible that we hit this spot on a "bad hair day" and since we live in Summerville, we may at some point give the Dog and Duck a chance for redemption.
