Crabs eggs Benedict and a delicious melty cristo
    Kristina J.

Eggs Up Grill is such a beautiful gem. The name insinuates a cozy vibe which was definitely fulfilled walking in. The restaurant is very welcoming with fresh colors that are a really nice sight for tired morning eyes. We went on a weekday, so it was not too busy but that was definitely not due to the service or food. The place was clean and the service was great. Our server checked in on us multiple times and even gave us a punch card for our next visit. The food was so good and reasonably priced. I had the crab cake eggs benedict which was absolutely amazing. Typically cheaper crab cakes can taste very fishy but these were delicious and surprisingly fresh tasting. They went very well with the hollandaise sauce it was paired with. If you're a coffee drinker please try the Oatmeal cookie cold brew! It was sweet and earthy it tasted like a nostalgic oatmeal cream pie in all of the best ways. All I can say is you must turn up to eggs up grill. From it's affordability to its delectability I don't think you will be disappointed.

This was a good breakfast spot. The interior was cute and clean. The staff was super friendly. They had a pretty extensive menu and it all sounded good. I got the classic benny. It was good but not great. I would come back again!

This is a good option for a quick diner type breakfast or lunch. We went on a Friday around 1230 and it wasn't busy at all. The server was friendly, though the restaurant wasn't tidy. There were many tables with dirty dishes laying around and they were in no hurry to clear tables after people left. The table we were seated at had a lot of food under the table and crumbs on the seats. The food was fine. Our favorite item were the biscuits, they seem to be griddled so we're crunchy on one side and soft on the other. Good buttery flavor. The vanilla iced coffee was way sweet, so I couldn't drink it. Hubby enjoyed his eggs Benedict with home fries. I had the egg bomb blt and it was a decent sandwich. I had ordered regula fries but got home fries. It was rectified quickly with fresh fries. Overall, as mentioned a good little breakfast/lunch diner option. We will go back and try it again at some point.

Eggs Benedict with turkey sausage and home fries.

My first time here and it was a dreary cold rainy Tuesday at around 8:30 am. Maybe about 15 customers in total inside. Was greeted and my drink order taken promptly. Seating and table height are both comfortable at the booths. I ordered eggs Benedict with home fries and two turkey sausage patties. From order time to it arriving at my table was about 10 reasonable minutes. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the hollandaise sauce was meh and the English muffins were not toasted properly leaving them barely luke warm. The potatoes were overly seasoned with too much paprika and were cold inside - I asked for a replacement that arrived hot. The turkey sausage was good but one patty seemed not warm enough. Not sure why food isn't prepared and served hot when there aren't many customers... leaves me to wonder about returning again.

cold brew house blend with mocha

So we got here at 9 ish hoping the place wouldn't be too packed. Yeah, they were packed. Nonstop I might add. Thankfully, they have a slew of servers (and cooks?) to get through the high volume of traffic. First think we noticed was how clean and chic everything was. Very impressive considering how many folks were in-and-out of here. Ya'll. I'm not into cold brews. But this place made me a believer. The house blend mocha was divine. My friend got the French vanilla cappucino. She said it was super good. I ended up getting a regular house blend cold brew to-go once we left. I didn't like it as much as the mocha but was still delicious. The food itself was very good. I didn't find anything specifically wrong with the platter I got. If anything, most of the items were slightly above average. What we did notice was just how good the bacon was. Full of flavor. Great amount of crisp. Interesting point to make. A request was made to add chocolate chips into a pancake for the little one. They did. And the pancake was pretty incredible. She couldn't stop raving how good the pancake was.

First time here, and they have been open only for a few months. Nice and bright place, decent spacing, not super noisy, prompt and attentive service, offered refills on coffee before even half the cup was gone, great place!

Since it is our first time, she passed it on to the kitchen manager kyndell, who kindly brought us the palmetto chicken sliders. They were savory and sweet and amazing! The Bri appetizer was delicious as well, with crunchy bread to serve with. On to the lunch : both got the smash burgers, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. Regular fries were seasoned to perfection, and crunchy. Sweet potato fries were waffle and dusted with a little sugar. Both were great! Burger was crispy and you can tell it was a quality meat. House sauce was good as well! Dessert: we got the bacon wrapped dates which was the star of the show. Such a creative concept, came with goat cheese and honey! They were amazing, and I could have had 10 more. The flavors paired perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, Abby and kyndall really made our time special. We will be back to try the pizza and other apps!

If I could I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, because it was good but not great but definitely well enough not to drop it to a 4. Let's start with the location: very nice and everything seems real clean and cared for. Even the men's room was decent at 6:00 pm at night. Now our server: Sidney was very attentive to us. She took very good care of us during our stay. Now the meal: Again it was good. The wifey had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. She tells me the sauce had a nice flavor but the chicken really had no flavor. Certainly not a Blackened flavor you would expect. The chicken itself was good and tender. As for me I had Shrimp and Grits. It also was good. It had onions and peppers in it and again the flavor of the onions and peppers just want there. Who knows. We also had the Brick Oven Brie. There was a really nice amount of Brie. So much that the toasted bread ran out way before the Brie. So as I said this was a good place and meal despite my small hits in this review. I firmly recommend this place because I do expect you to have a nice meal. Ps. To the owners: your link to your website doesn't work via Yelp. To potential customers: you will have to go your search engine and find the Charred site.

When you first walk in there is a step up and then a step down into the dining room, no ramp. They have paper menus which they could easily laminate to keep clean in my opinion. Unfortunately, the food we received doesn't look like the other reviews. The potatoes were tiny and cut into mini pieces & fries, not fresh or comparable to the potatoes in other reviews. The lamb chops are also very tiny..one bite per chop but were seasoned well. The lobster & grits had good amount of flavor but the bottom of the dish was cold as if it was under a heat lamp & not freshly made. Mussels were decent, and eggs were good but nothing stood out. The bar is BOTTOM shelf for each drink. Lemon drop made with Sky Vodka, up charge for Titos or any one liquor. Destiny was our server and she was nice, smiling, and super accommodating for everything; great customer service from her... the other girl didn't seem to know much about how the meals are cooked or what's included in meals.

For cocktails, we went with the Eight-04 and Jax Ward, both well-crafted and enjoyable. The highlight of the drinks was the complimentary mango shooters, which came with a fun presentation and tasted amazing! For entrees, I initially wanted the French style pork chop, but our server let us know they were sold out. Instead, I opted for the salmon with broccolini and a side of lobster mash, and it turned out to be a great choice. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We also ordered the Louisiana gumbo, which had a beautiful presentation, but it was slightly cold when served. However, as soon as we mentioned it, the staff handled it right away and quickly brought back a steaming-hot dish, which I appreciated. Beyond the food, the restaurant's decor was stylish and well thought out, adding to the overall atmosphere. Service was attentive and accommodating, which made for a great experience. I'd definitely come back to try more!
