We were up early at the beach and decided to hit this place for a nice breakfast. We were before 8am so we took advantage of the early bird special (which was a great price) and the peaches and cream pancakes with bacon. The regular breakfast was regular. Nothing special. The peaches and cream pancakes were cooked nicely but wow is it sweet. Better have a big sweet tooth for these. Bacon was ordered extra crispy (emphasis added). It was not. We had to send it back. Nice clean open space. Lots of seating available. Our server was kind, friendly and attentive. I didn't get her name otherwise I'd give her a shout out for being wonderful. I ordered the caramel apple pancakes. I was debating between that and the berry ones. This was delicious. The pancakes were cooked perfectly. Nice texture and flavor. The crumble was a nice addition and the apples were flavorful and the perfect amount. The only thing I didn't like was the caramel sauce. Some of it got hard so it was a chewy tacky bite that wasn't fun. It was like biting into a candy apple. I was worried I'd lose a filling. I'd order this again but without the caramel. It didn't need it anyway. My husband got the cinnamon swirl French toast, which was surprisingly disappointing. The bread they use is small, smaller than normal bread. Like pepperage farm or Thomas cinnamon bread. It comes with 2 pieces. I'm small and don't eat much but this wouldn't have been enough for me. It looked like a kids meal. They should throw another slice or 2 on there since the bread is so small and it cost I think $10! We dont eat meat so he got it without the bacon or sausage so $10 for 2 small slices of bread seems like too much, but even with the sausage or bacon I still think there needs to be at least one more slice of French toast. I didn't try it but he was unimpressed with it. Said it would have been better if it was normal bread, the cinnamon swirl didn't do much for him. He said he wouldn't order that again. read more

Went for breakfast (Friday at 9am) and was immediately greeted at the door and seated at a table with an amazing waitress, Cameron. She (and really the entire staff that we saw) was so helpful and friendly! They're lucky to have her on their team! I had the fall special, pumpkin pancakes (YUM!) and DH had everything French toast (EW!) Yes, mine was scrumptious with whipped cream on top...but DH's choice was not. He did not understand that the French toast would come with "everything bagel" seasoning baked on it. It came topped with cream cheese (like a bagel) with a side of bacon and eggs (cooked to order). My wife and I visited this recently opened franchised eatery on Saturday morning. There was a fair number of patrons and plenty of employees. The staff did an excellent job in welcoming, serving and assuring our satisfaction. The room is bright with a neutral décor offering both tables and booths. The menu has all of the breakfast and lunch staples covered along with the cute names corporate entities can't resist. I ordered the corned beef hash with eggs and grits. The hash was good, the eggs were nondescript, and the grits were too watery for my preference. My wife chose the pancakes. The pancakes were fine, served with two strips of bacon. The food is neither noteworthy nor bad. Coffee refills were timely. The value equation is fair with our breakfast coming in at just over $28. I went here for brunch with friends this morning and it was very underwhelming. I ordered the classic breakfast: scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, breakfast potatoes, and toast. Everything was very greasy. I chose turkey sausage in hopes that it would feel a little bit lighter paired with everything else but grease oozed out when cutting into it. It was SOOOO busy this am!!! I think they were down a person (according to our server), they were weeded but I saw the Mgr jump back on the line (which, I believe, was necessary- good communication in the kitchen). The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Saw a gal (Lisa) who worked somewhere else and hadn't known where she moved, so it was great to see her! She is awesome, by the way, very bubbly, sweet as can be, and you'll often hear her singing while she's running around taking care if her customers. Outstanding customer service overall! Sadly, didn't write down others' names. We (BF & I) had gotten an egg sandwich on Brioche a couple weeks ago...it was outstanding and good value for the price. We got the same sandwiches today to go for our trip out of town. Actually haven't had it quite yet..so can't comment...but they look delicious! ;) The one star taken away is simply because we got STARVED watching all the delicious food coming out of the kitchen waiting. Have eaten here twice before and it was always fine. My son came for a visit over Easter week and we stopped here for breakfast. We got seated immediately, but waited a long time for our order to be taken and food to be served. I ordered oatmeal, which was truly awful, as it was clearly instant oatmeal made with lukewarm water so that some of the oats were still dry and hard and some soggy. It was inedible. The bacon my son ordered (and the couples' at table next to us) was burnt and cold. We paid for the bacon because my son picked around the burnt parts and ate what he could (the table next to us complained and didn't get charged). The charge for my oatmeal was removed. There were complaints to our left and right, front and back. A really off day for Eggs Up and I hope it'll improve. read more

Extremely disappointed, called in a BLT on rye untoasted with fries. The order was ready when I arrived, the staff was friendly, the place looked clean, customers well socially distanced. The food on the other hand was absolutely terrible. Worst BLT I have ever had. The one slice of tomato on the sandwich was sliced so thin it was see thru, the one piece of lettuce was part of a wilted outer leaf, and the two small pieces of bacon didn't cover half the sandwich. The potatoes were very greasy, highly seasoned and left oil all over the carry out paper that drained to the bread of the sandwich and made it soggy, yuck. Stopped in on the Sunday right after Christmas around 10am. We were seated immediately. Family of 4 with two adults and two kids. Coffee was okay, classic mimosas were great. Our kids got the kids meal with pancakes eggs and fresh fruit. The pancakes are large, I could have had my kids split one kids meal and it still would have been plenty. My husband got the peaches and cream pancakes and OMG they are the best pancakes I have ever had. I got the limited time caramel apple pancakes which were also amazing. Eggs were cooked to order perfectly, we shared an order of home fries which were excellent with great seasoning. I got a side of grits as well and they are easily the best grits I've ever had! Portions were huge with plenty extra to take home for left overs. The bill plus tip rounded out to about 60$ but was fair given all the extra sides we ordered and drinks. Multiple dirty tables and trash on the floor throughout the restaurant. At least 5 front of house staff were visible, but none were making an effort to clean tables or floor. Would not recommend to others. At this price point ($45 for 2 adults and a child) cleanliness should not be an issue, especially with the staff on hand. read more
