Basic breakfast plate, just BARELY cooked.
    Jessamy P.

I was rather unimpressed with this breakfast spot. My meal was a basic breakfast plate (eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast) and everything (with the exception of my over medium eggs) was undercooked. I had asked for bacon well done and had to send it back because I can't do the texture of the fat in the bacon. The hash browns are the same that you'd find at any basic café but priced higher. The fresh squeezed OJ was the highlight of my meal. Our server was pleasant and prompt. With so many brunch options in the Phoenix area, I highly doubt i will return to this location.

Food was fresh and fast. Service was nice but a little direct. Prices were alright. I did like the variety of options and overall more upscale quality of the food for a brunch style place. Fruit was fresh. Would come again.

Eggs Benedict needs some lemon or something tart but still very good. Service really goood. It was very nice to sit outside.

Super quick and friendly service! Delicious food, lots of options for everyone, and cute atmosphere. A great place for breakfast and lunch! We ended up coming to Eggstasy after a long wait elsewhere and we are so happy we did. We were sat, served, and finished in the same amount of time we had to wait for another spot. It was very casual and calm inside mid-day on the weekend. Our server was a gem and portions were very generous. I loved the fried chicken and waffle that came with eggs. Stop by for breakfast!!

This is a brunch spot worth checking out! I went with a friend on a Saturday morning, around 10 oclock. We were sat right away! The servers were super friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. I think the decorations on the wall as well as with the quirky "egg" slogans on the menu was a cute touch. I got the chicken and biscuits. The portion was huge! I'm usually not someone that takes home leftovers, and I had to take one biscuit home. They were so tasty! Overall, I had a pleasant experience with a delicious meal. I will definitely come back here for brunch again!

Some of my friends went for breakfast this morning. First time here. Welcomed and seated. Brought a carafe of water with cucumber. Love that touch! The menu is wonderful. It's quite large ... and honestly enjoyed reading it all. Neal's came out and every single thing looked amazing! And the lavazzo coffee is a great touch. Next time I will have an adult beverage and some crepes! Can't wait. Our server Karen was amazing!

The only thing I don't like about this place is there is too many scrumptious items on the menu to pick from!!! Excellent service and super friendly staff. The food was delicious. The orange juice is amazing. It is very family friendly.

The food was not super great. I got the steak skillet and thought it lacked a lot of flavor. The hash browns were kind of mushy and didn't feel like it was seasoned that well. The portion sizes were high though and you get your bang for your buck. My skillet came with my choice of pancake, waffle, or crepe. My boyfriend loves the pancakes and said they were the best pancakes he's ever had at the location. It was really loud inside but I think that was the vibe of the place. Service was great!

First visit for brunch. Loved this place. I had eggs Benedict. Very good perfectly prepared. Others had omelets which were delicious and very large. Service was great. We were surprised at having no wait for a table at all on a Saturday morning at 10. Perfect!! We will be back.

Our waitress was nice. Just a warning, but the portions are huge for their omelette so if you do get an omelette it's shareable for 2 people. I'd say the omelette was lacking in flavor. It was just egg, there wasn't a wow factor. I'd say the eggs are made without seasoning. You get some of the flavors from the items on top of the egg, like cheese and meat. I'd say the egg to toppings ratio could be more balanced. The pancakes were really good though.

The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service made our entire family feel comfortable and cared for throughout the meal. As amazing as the hospitality was, the food completely stole the show. Every dish was spectacular, packed with flavor, and beautifully prepared. The absolute must-order is the jalapeño bacon burger -- perfectly cooked with just the right kick of spice and loaded with flavor in every bite. It has a lovely ambiance, the food is good, and while we had a few issues with our food, the service was delightful. We also found some fun offers when booking through OpenTable. We arrived to Aftermath for an evening reservation on a Saturday night that we made through OpenTable. The parking spots in front were taken so we drove around to the back where there was plenty of parking. We found a parking spot right by the back door to the restaurant, which we had to pull to open (though that was easy to do). We then walked to the host stand and were seating right upon arrival. Our server Allyn was wonderful! She answered our many questions, gave some great recommendations, and made us feel right at home. We started out by ordering a cocktail and wanted something fruity, sweet, and made with vodka, and while nothing on the menu fit this request, we had Allyn work with the bartender to create a "Bartender's Choice" drink, which turned out to be a Blackberry Mint. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We then ordered Rigatoni Alla Vodka for my wife (consisting of imported rigatoni, Calabrian chili vodka sauce, parmesan, and basil) and an Aftermath Burger for me (consisting of 2 Arizona grass fed blend patties, velveeta, red onion, house pickles, toasted onion Kona bun, and Aftermath burger sauce with fries). We learned that the Rigatoni Alla Vodka has a spiciness level of 2 out of 5, though Allyn put in a request for my wife to get it at a 1 out of 5, and it was perfect. Our only issue is that when my dish arrived, the fries were actually cold and the burgers were barely lukewarm. It was busy at that time in the restaurant, and once I got the attention of someone to assist, they quickly brought out a replacement burger, which was delicious. The fries tasted almost as if they were nuked in a microwave, but they were still a good complement to the burger. Learn more about Aftermath at https://aftermathphoenix.com. They are open for lunch daily from 11-3 except for Friday and Saturday when they are open from 10-3. They are open daily for dinner from 4-10 PM. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 PM and live music every Sunday from 7-9 PM. Open Table also offers specials. The first time you book Aftermath through Open Table, you can get a drink for only a penny. After several visits, you then earn a free appetizer or dessert, and after several more visits, you earn a free burger. While we had the issue with the burger and fries temperature, Aftermath redeemed themselves by quickly replacing it, and otherwise, we had a very good experience. We do plan on visiting again in the near future.

All my concerns were quickly subdued as we were seated in the enclosed patio. I sampled some of their house beers right away to counteract the 106 degree outdoor temperature. The service was stellar and extremely expeditious considering the number of patrons there. We ordered the nachos & hot wings for starters, both of which were excellent and garnished beyond what I would expect for this kind of restaurant. Somebody in the group immediately recommended the Turkey Pastrami sandwich, so I went with it, and very glad that I did. It was sort of chopped up to improve texture, and while I feared it might be dry, it wasn't, loaded with a well made coleslaw to keep things moist. Overall, this is a very respectable place for drinks or semi affordable meal in the vein of Rock N' Brews, 54th Street etc, just executed better.

It's spacious, open, airy, and has a really fun energy that makes it perfect for Mother's Day, Father's Day, or any family brunch. There's plenty of outdoor seating and games near the cornhole area, which gave the kids room to run around and play while the parents could actually relax and enjoy their meal. Service was very good throughout the visit, and the food came out surprisingly fast considering how busy they were for the holiday. Food-wise, I'd put it around a solid 3.5-4 out of 5. My vegetarian wife really enjoyed the breakfast bowl, which was a great option for her. My son and I both ordered the breakfast burrito, and we also shared the French toast for dessert. Everything was presented beautifully, but the burrito leaned a little heavy on the carbs and could have used more eggs and sausage. The French toast tasted good, but it was slightly dry and would have benefited from real maple syrup instead of just the drizzle they provide. Overall, though, we had a really enjoyable experience. Great atmosphere, family-friendly setup, solid service, and good brunch options. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're looking for a fun brunch spot.
