Went for breakfast, cuz I love me some breakfast. Unfortunately Had a really really poor experience with a server. She just had a really poor service mentality and cadence. Everything was an issue. So either she has a HUGE chip on her shoulder and maybe be should re-think her career or she is just a bummer person. Short, tatted up, not real blond and not pleasant. Food was good, the fruit was fresh and like that they don't cut the toast into triangles, but the server made the whole experience and situation horrible. I was just at Eggstasy on Saturday morning 7/11/26 at 8:15am and had a really negative experience with the server. After waiting a couple minutes, the server walked up to me, and before she started pouring the water, I said no water please, she continued to pour, and I said no water, please and her reply was "well, what do you want to drink? Then if you don't want water"? And I said no water. She then informed me I have to give you water because my boss will get mad if I don't give you water. What kind of BS is that?!?! ONE. The attitude whoa.... and TWO. I don't want water so why the hell do I need to take water? It may sound stupid to some, but I don't want water and why the hell are you making me take water that I said I don't want. It's that simple. Why are you forcing a customer to do something? They specifically said three times they don't wanna do. And then the attitude of this young lady was just out of bounds. , I know that she's been a server there for years because I've been in there before many many times and wasn't forced to take water, but this girl's attitude was just out of bounds, so I left don't try to force me to take water on my table that I don't want lady. We stumbled upon Eggstasy on our very last day in Scottsdale, and my only regret is that we didn't find it sooner! From the moment you walk through the door, the service is absolutely top-tier. We were seated promptly and immediately greeted with fresh coffee and water (the good kind of morning drinks! ).Our table ordered a mix of sweet and savory: the corned beef hash and eggs, the lemon blueberry French toast, and the chicken and waffles. When the food arrived, the presentation was a perfect 10/10--and the taste matched it completely.The portions here are incredibly generous. I visited on a Sunday morning after a long night of adulting. I must say that the staff was so pleasant and accommodating. The place was very light and airy. I have never been so mistreated in my life we came here, family 6 with little ones, was told it was a 20 minute wait we were here over 40 minutes. We asked multiple times if there be a table and they told us well we dont have a table for six where there was an open table for eight multiple tables for four they're all getting sat before us. The manager even walked over and asked the hostess why we were waiting so long and they both kind of giggled "well. I have nowhere to put them" from what I could read it from their lips, we asked one final time and they said they don't know where to put us and sadly we will never coming back here again. Me and my boyfriend decided to come here the other day for some breakfast. The facility is really cute inside. It looks bright, well decorated, and clean. The waiting area wasn't very big. It was fine for the day we went but I imagine on busier days you'd probably have to wait outside. We were seated pretty fast since we were just a party of 2. I had decided to order a coffee this morning as I wanted some caffeine. I went with an iced caramel macchiato. The coffee is very strong, it has a potent roasty flavor to it. I added a packet of Splenda and it was much better though! For food, my boyfriend got the chilaquiles and I got a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and side pancakes. The side of pancakes is huge! The omelet was very good! It was simple so I was already expecting it to come out good. The pancakes were definitely the star of the show! The alcohol seemed to just come in a tube on the side and isn't actually inside the pancake mix (but I could be wrong). But it was very delicious and I would definitely order it again! Overall, our experience was great. The staff were lovely and everything was very efficient. My one complaint is that the restaurant was very warm inside. As you're eating your food you feel the warmth a bit more and I could not cool down from being outside. However, it was manageable enough and we still enjoyed ourselves. Why this is not a 5 star rating beats me! We drove in from Vegas. A Phoenix local friend of mine steered us here and we LOVED our food! After our long drive we were ready to start our Phoenix weekend out with some delicious food. When we walked in the atmosphere was a mix of poppy music and CA beach brunch spot vibes. We were greeted immediately by a friendly server who sat us right away. Next our equally friendly server arrived with cucumber water and asked for our drink order. My husband and I are pretty routine when it comes to brunch. I get an egg white something and he gets a patty melt. So we already knew what we wanted. Our order was placed and with in 10 min our food came out beautifully plated, hot and just as we ordered. My husband's patty melt came w fries and a delicious tortilla soup that had posole broth flavor. Yum! His PM was on some hard core hearty rye and I sampled quite a few of his fries which were crispy and just the right amount of salty. I had the Heart Healthy breakfast which was 100% my jam! Egg whites, turkey breast, onion w reduced fat cheese and a side of fruit. Like GOOD fruit too. Not the sad flavorless melon slices w a tiny grape fruit cup you normally get. It was a delightful skewer of fresh pineapple and strawberries. The English muffin was quite substantial too. Really thick toasted muffin to perfectly accompany my eggs. Our server, I think his name was Nick, was on point too. He brought our drink refills out before we even needed to ask. Very polite and great at his job. Made the experience that much more enjoyable. Made a reservation for a Sunday - not many brunch places let you make reservations so this was very nice. Got seated right on time. The water came with cucumber in it, which I loved. Nice touch. The menu is extensive!! There are so many omelet combos, it was very cool to read, I had a hard time deciding. I went with the Brie and apple with chicken sausage. So good. I would have liked more cheese as it was just on top and more than four thinly sliced apples but there was a lot of chicken sausage in there and the omelet was huge. I chose fruit instead of hash browns - and only because it was actually a good fruit skewer with pineapple, strawberry, and some berries... usually it's melon and cantaloupe which I hate. Then I chose gluten free pancakes instead of toast because they don't have gluten free bread of any kind (so if you're wanting Benedict or egg sandwich or what not and you're gluten free, find somewhere else). But they didn't charge me extra and I got two HUGE pancakes with powdered sugar and maple syrup and butter and it had a cute whipped cream dollop on the side. I was impressed. The pancakes were so fluffy, I loved them. I was stuffed and had an entire meal as leftovers! My friend got the sun dried tomato, pine nut, and goat cheese omelet. The place is pretty spacious, the menu is (a bit) extensive (if you are indecisive you may feel overwhelmed from all of the options, and the waitress we had was attentive. The prices were not even too bad either. For instance, my boyfriend got the steak and eggs, which came with (2) pancakes and either hash browns or fruit, and it was $22.95. That's a steal! He ordered fruit but his dish came with hash browns, and luckily the waitress easily fixed that by just adding a plate of fruit in addition to the hash browns. Sometimes I can't finish my food, so I ordered a starter dish and a side of bacon. The "eggasm" is a little jar of mashed potatoes with a poached egg, and it comes with bread topped with chives, bacon and cheese. This was the perfect dish! It would be perfect to share for the table, as well. For some tasty breakfast with standard and special entrees, this place would be great. read more

Although there was a mistake with our order Anayah was quick to address the issue and even after the issue was fixed we decided to take the wrong item to go. I enjoyed the Phat Kid's Club* with the Creamy Lemon Chicken & Quinoa and fruit and my wife enjoyed the Phat Country Boy* with hash browns and an order of Chorizo Cheddar Grits. The item we received by mistake Turkey Club Wrap was also so good, I am glad we decided to ask just to leave it and got it to go. We had a group of nine and finding a reservation for a Sunday morning can be quite a challenge. However, I was able to book one after a couple of dead ends and I had to call to check if our reservation actually existed at the correct Eggstasy. All was good. We arrived only to find that they had tried to squeeze us into a table for six. After standing around for a few minutes by the table, we were moved to a more spacious area with room for about twelve. Our waitress was very enthusiastic and took our drink orders as well as our food orders. I ordered first yet my food and drink came out last by quite a few minutes. All I ordered was a coffee and two eggs, over easy, bacon, hash browns and toast. When my food finally arrived, some of our group were almost finished, and then I waited for my coffee. And then I waited for hot sauce, and then cream, and finally my toast arrived. Yes, I did have to prompt the waitstaff a few times. My food was tasty, although it's difficult to mess up what I ordered. There is a lot of parking although, when busy, you may be across the parking lot. The outdoor area is pleasant but not fancy. I think they were short-staffed but I can't be positive. Most of the group were happy with the food they ordered. Next time I'll pick a week day when the restaurant may not be as busy. read more

We came at about 9:30 or so and they weren't very busy but had quite a wait when we were leaving at like 11. I suspect a post church rush. All of their meals are so much food! I split the veggie skillet with the gf lemon pancakes and a half serving was the perfect amount of food for me. I recommend either splitting or being pumped about a good bit of leftovers. Visiting town from Los Angeles for the weekend so we wanted to have a great breakfast before flying home. I have been to many different breakfast and brunch locations throughout Scottsdale and have been to other locations of Eggstasy. Brunch this morning was pretty good although there were some hiccups. Parking is extremely easy as it's in a shopping center with plenty of available spaces. We arrived at about 10 for breakfast and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. They have a very large menu with a lot of options, which is one of my favorite parts of this restaurant chain. Today our server was very polite and did a great job. However, we were a table of three and two of our dishes came out and then the last dish came about 15 minutes after the other two. The third and late dish was just pancakes, so I have no idea what was going on in the kitchen but pretty much everyone at the table was finishing up their meal when the last breakfast arrived. I chose the Crispy Prosciutto Benedict and added avocado. Overall, it was pretty good although the eggs were not poached well as the eggs were not runny, they were more over hard as the yolk did not run at all, and was more like a hard boiled egg. Also, the prosciutto was good although it was overly salty. I am half Italian and I've been eating prosciutto my entire life and this was definitely one of the saltier versions I've had in a long time. Finally, the hashbrowns are not crispy, they are more like chopped potatoes so in the future I guess I will ask for extra crispy hashbrowns. Overall a pretty good breakfast, but could definitely have been better. I will most likely choose another item to order next time, even though Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. However, this version fell a little short so I would recommend the restaurant, but would not recommend ordering the Benedict. read more

Disappointing breakfast today. Ordered the corned beef hash with over medium eggs and extra crispy hash browns and specifically asked if they had cinnamon raisin toast to which the answer was yes. The eggs were more over easy at the most, the hash browns were the palest out of our three orders (barely cooked) and my toast had some raisins in it and a lot of nuts.
