I called first thing in the morning after our heater stopped working in the evening. I was given a appointment window of 11-2 and he called at 10:30 and showed up at 10:45. We called today when our digital thermostat was not functioning and our A/C stopped working - this during a massive heatwave. Marcello was courteous and accommodating. He said he would have someone out within a couple of hours. In the meantime, I figured out that we had the filter off for a bit too long (we have one you clean and reuse) and the system automatically shuts off. Once we realized we could solve our own problem, I called him back to let him know. He had a very empathetic vmail letting callers know that they were booked up for the day but to call back in the morning and they would try and help. I left a vmail and called back a few minutes later - Marcello answered this time and was gracious for our call and happy to hear we had solved the problem. A capacitor blew on my A/C unit over the weekend and it was again in the high 80's inside my home through the night and in to the morning. This review is a bit late. During the last heat wave of 115 degrees my AC went out. After suffering through the 3 day weekend I called Eros and he came out that evening and had it fixed within about 15 minutes. I was desperate during the last heat wave we had out here. I called a lot of places and not only did no one answer, no one called me back. I then came on yelp and saw Eros. I called, he answered AND could come out the same day. He fixed the issue in less than an hour and not once did I feel like he was trying to take advantage or over charge. Marcello answered the phone and said he needed to contact a serviceman to see if he was able to come over at 9pm on a Sunday, of a holiday weekend. The service is incredible I called them 6:30 on a Thursday night and they had someone to my house with in an hour and he had the problem fixed very quickly. The tech was very nice and explained everything he was doing before he did it. Had a new furnace and air conditioner installed. They did the work quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They were friendly and quite tolerant of me looking over their shoulders. They were able to run the pipes and wires for the air conditioner under the house which was very nice. Eros worked with me to give me the appliances I wanted at a good price. My wall heater was not working and the room would fill up with gas because the pilot light would not connect and we were freezing our bottoms off and fearful that the place would explode as we attempted to get heat. I went on yelp and called the highest rated place with the best reviews (Atlas), but they wanted $135 for a visit & diagnosis - parts & labor not yet included (WHAT?!)!! The 2nd highest rated place was too booked. I called Eros Heating & Cooling which was the 3rd best rated heating company on yelp, and David, the owner, answered & came to the rescue!!! His visit rate was $65 (LAST THAN HALF THE OTHER COMPANY!!!). He checked our computer box and confirmed that it was still good & we didn't need a new one (YES!!). He said it might be the gas valve, but the part & labor is very expensive (NO!!), so let's see if it's the connector first (YES!). He cleaned & sand papered the connector & BAM the heater was able to ignite properly and WE HAD HEAT!!! I thought the man was GOD-SENT for bringing us heat but when he said it was an easy fix & he won't charge me, I THOUGHT I SAW A HALO AROUND HIS HEAD!! Eros came out promptly on a Saturday, diagnosed some dangerous and faulty wiring that a previous HVAC repairman and done, they carefully narrowed down the faulty outlet and replaced it. Thank god because the next day was going to be 108. He went on my roof in the dark to check my air conditioning unit and had all the supplies he needed to fix the leaks I had and he gave me a new thermostat. I would definitely recommend this company.
