The staff is phenomenal, from the owner Anthony to the manager Carly and everyone in between a near perfect cross section of personalities and vibes that keeps us coming back. The cold came from a coffee pot in the fridge. For hot, the beans were ground by a machine in front of us. For whole beans the prices start at $16/lb and go up from there. His decor is automotive themed, as that's his other passion. He roasts his own beans at a nearby facility but will be roasting on site soon. I selected the Apex Ethiopian coffee, a medium light roast. It was absolutely delicious. As it cooled off, the nuance increased. Enjoyed discussing coffee with Chris. I ordered the Deadly Nightshade (Expresso, Blackberry Vanilla Syrup, Blackberry cold foam and sage), and the Little Lad Croissant which was served with cream and berries (and had cute little flowers for decorations). The shop was packed, but yet we somehow got two seats. There are tables, green couch and red velvet armchairs with a high backs. We sat on the armchairs. Everything was so delicious. I actually gave up drinking coffee, substituting it with matcha, but I decided to make an exception for today. And boy I am glad I did! I never had more delicious coffee. Inside was nicely decorated with that dark, moody, Victorian feel. Also kinda reminds me of the Addams family for some reason tho lol this visit we tried their Cemetery Dust which was Tiramisu-flavored Iced Latte. This was a nice "dessert coffee" drink and perfect for that post-meal sweetness. We also got their Memento Mori (with this one, Harry Potter came to mind lol) and this was my favorite as I enjoy charcoal coffee and black sesame! This had a nice balance of espresso and sweetness. I would get this again if we are ever close by.
