Good coffee, bleh pastries, neat vibe. Was driving in the area and stopped for a drink. Place was very modern, lots of wood and stone elements. I ordered a coffee and she got a hibiscus tea. We also got a tart and a waffle to snack on. Drinks came out quickly, and they were okay. The coffee was good, but very weak. Needed milk just to give it some flavor. The tea was also decent, but she only drank half. The bakery items were a flop. The waffle was more bread than waffle and the chocolate syrup was also very weak. The almond tart was weirdly too sweet, and that also got half eaten then thrown away. It wasn't very bad, but it wasn't very good either. It was okay, hence the review. It's an option

Pop's Empanadas is a great way to explore that depressive, or impressive, state of mind. The sun barrels its way into my workspace on a spring afternoon. I welcome its studs up challenge and continue to dribble until I can no longer not acknowledge the aura of Apollo's chariot. - I don't recognize Helios as my Sun god, deal with it. - I check my meagerly checking account and my minute wallet and decide "F it" I've not got but do got a few buccaroons to spare as I continue to wheel around for the cheddar in this rat race we call life. In doing so - I notice a certain extensive tingle in my tummy. One that calls for mass amounts of food. In tandem, the shining sun begs me to bask in its warmth. I need to find some food. Sit in a park. Devour said park. And take a long enough lunch that somebody, somewhere, somehow thinks of me. Once that occurs, I will return between the rock and the hard place of which sits a desk, a chair, brittle bones and a big but battered heart. With my pension for poppin' sandwich and my expertise of my surround areas - radius of 45 mins in all direction - I half-conclude on Pop Empanada for my stroll, toll and roll. - TM'ing that don't even think about taking that line. Actually do think about it. And think about how you've never come up with something that original. This is in writing, I'm the first, I'm the last, I'm your everything. - Anyways, I take an 8 min drive out to a lot nearby and stumble in upon my order. The empanadas are solid, shrimp one is superior. Haven't tried them all. Not crying home to mama about em' but that's not the star of the show so it doesn't matter. I haven't tried everything and definitely should. But every time I'm feeling like I need to challenge my bowels I go straight for this Cuban Sandwich. My oh my. This thing may weigh 5 pounds. Packed to the brim. Sturdy bread. I mean it's literally one of the biggest boys I've ever corralled. It's tasty, tender, savory and sweet. Crunchy, chewy, choppy and neat. This would feed a normal man for an entire day. I, to no surprise of the reader, am not a normal man. By the end of munching on this crunching I'm panting and sweating and clenching my chest. My cholesterol spike so high that a doctor wouldn't even be able to help. By 75% of sandwich completion I don't even want the rest. It's just my hard wired protocol that this whole pups gotta hit the pound. I just gotsss to complete my task. This is probably the best Cuban I've ever had - in sandwich form... if you catch my straits of Florida drift. For the price, it is one of the best bang for buck sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommend you give Pop Empanada a go. On a sunny mid week afternoon there's a hot chance you'll catch me reviving myself from a heart attack on the bench in the park only a stone throws away. Don't to try help me. It's all part of my sick game. Love you, babes, have a beautiful day - LB.

The ambiance was nice, it was clean and some delightful plants adorned the outdoor space. We ordered the Aegean Salad, the Calamari appetizer and the whole fish/branzino as a shared main. The restaurant includes olives and grilled pita and it's served warm. The combo of the salad and the pita was really nice, the salad ingredients were fresh and lovely. The Calamari was equally as fresh and the oils and seasoning were pretty much perfect and again eating it with the pita was a real treat. The grilled branzino was cooked perfectly and simply put one of the best pieces of fishes i've had. The fish came with a side of stewed veggies that were absolutely delicious and honestly the veggies alone are worth a return trip. i can easily see why the reviews are so positive for Aegean Estiatorio, it was truly an excellent meal, especially at a time where prices are so high and one is forced to question the value, this restaurant is really an exception. Lastly, the service was also spot on, we were well cared and treated with professionalism.

We called it last minute for table for 2 outdoor or inside they said unfortunately only outdoors because inside is totally booked and we were okay with that but we realize it was pretty empty when we got there by the time we left too it wasn't full inside either so that leaves us with disappointment and not fully honesty in my book and I don't appreciate that. Service was okay and ambiance around good as well. Portions are a little smaller for huge plates making it look empty. We didn't have dessert I wasn't up for it.

No reason to go to nyc this is the jersey spot for corn, beef, pastrami, brisket, all hands down it's a great place a lot of people would compare it to Kats in New york. My advice is order on the phone to take out 30 min ahead. This place is busy. Once the word gets around on how great the food is it will be just a long to wait like Kats in nyc So go there now Service is as great as it can be because its busy now. Latkes: The potato pancakes included sour cream and applesauce. They were crispy and golden brown on the outside while warm and tender on the inside. This started was excellent and I enjoyed it down to the last bite. Pastrami on Rye: One of the unique aspects about this sandwich was being able to watch the chef prepare the main course right in front of you while waiting in line. This signature sandwich is stacked between two slices of rye bread and piled high & deep with pastrami and a smear of mustard. It has a flawless appearance and looks very appetizing. Unfortunately, I cannot say my taste buds agreed with my vision. I was unable to acquire a taste for this style of meat. The combined taste of the yellow mustard, untoasted bread, and meat was not satisfying. I gave it another chance by attempting to finish the leftovers the following day, but couldn't clear this plate. However, I can only speak for myself, as this is a top seller menu item and I witnessed other patrons eating it. Regardless of my dining experience, I can virtually guarantee this bistro has other menu items I will enjoy because the entire dining area was packed. There was a long line of customers that extended out the door. If I return, I will order an alternative lunch. #pastramigrillbistro #pastramionrye #garfieldnj

We brought it back home and the cutlet was still plenty warm and the romaine was cold and crunchy. My coworker and boyfriend suggest getting some extra Caesar dressing on the side for dipping. The place was cutie pie - I liked that they were playing good music and had a silly book of animals I could browse at while I waited for the food to be ready. There was an altercation of two couples yelling at each-other and causing a fuss. Lowkey I wish the manager would have refused service to all 4 of them because why were they being absolutely terrible at 1pm on a Saturday. I had enjoyed their sandwiches in the past, especially the One Upper, so I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, about two and a half hours after eating the sandwich, I became sick and vomited multiple times. The Aristocrat breakfast sandwich was the only thing I had eaten that day, and I believe it was what made me sick. The following day, I was dealing with significant stomach pain from vomiting so much. My mom called the restaurant and spoke with Marisa, who apologized and offered me a free sandwich. While I appreciated the apology, a free sandwich didn't make up for how sick I became. During the conversation, Marisa suggested that the issue may have been unrelated to the food. Given that the sandwich was the only thing I had eaten that day and I don't have any known food allergies, I felt my concerns were not fully addressed. It's disappointing because I expected the same quality I remembered, but this experience was the complete opposite. It will be a while before I feel comfortable returning.
