The grilled branzino was cooked perfectly and simply put one of the best pieces of fishes i've had. The fish came with a side of stewed veggies that were absolutely delicious and honestly the veggies alone are worth a return trip. i can easily see why the reviews are so positive for Aegean Estiatorio, it was truly an excellent meal, especially at a time where prices are so high and one is forced to question the value, this restaurant is really an exception. The following day, I was dealing with significant stomach pain from vomiting so much. My mom called the restaurant and spoke with Marisa, who apologized and offered me a free sandwich. While I appreciated the apology, a free sandwich didn't make up for how sick I became. During the conversation, Marisa suggested that the issue may have been unrelated to the food. Given that the sandwich was the only thing I had eaten that day and I don't have any known food allergies, I felt my concerns were not fully addressed. It's disappointing because I expected the same quality I remembered, but this experience was the complete opposite. It will be a while before I feel comfortable returning.
