My expectations were exceeded on this brisk January morning in Alpharetta! Came here primarily for some coffee, but the smell of the bagels and the wide variety of breakfast sandwiches available lured me into ordering breakfast to go. I got the Texas Brisket breakfast sandwich which came with sous vide eggs, brisket, cheddar, and chipotle aioli all on a jalapeno bacon bagel. I opted for the "thin" bagel version to attempt to keep things a little lighter (haha). The flavor was fantastic, and it was plenty filling. The smokiness of both the brisket and chipotle aioli was perfectly balanced. The bagel itself had great chew. It was perhaps the tiniest bit salty, but that was something I enjoyed. The service was really great. Very friendly and accommodating staff, and I received my food super fast. The service was uninspired, the person who helped me just exuded indifference, but what do you expect... the bagels were good. The location itself is clean and has lots of room. Tried Einstein bros for the first time today. It smelled so good when I walked in and I immediately got hungry. The lady there recommended me the Santa fe. This particular location of Einstein's is really hit or miss! I usually order the Tasty Turkey sandwich and some days it's great and other days, the person making my sandwich barely puts ingredients in my sandwich. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and go back. I just wish this location was more consistent with delivering a lunch sandwich that's consistently great with lots of ingredients and not just 2 slices of Turkey. They have a large selection of bagels to choose from and enjoy. Usually most times I've been here, the service has been quick and efficient. Once I arrived no one was aware of where my order was, although it was past the 20 min pickup mark. The heavy set cashier with the glasses was clueless. Nonetheless, one employee with the short hair & glasses stepped up and apologized and took over making my order. The tall lady with blue hair, sorry, I did not get her name, was very nice and was surprised when I did not want my bagels toasted, when my GF asked for hers toasted, she said, "that's my girl!". Olivia (or Olive) who is apparently the manager at this location basically did not care that her staff gave me 8 plain bagels instead of 8 Asiago cheese I ordered. She basically blamed me for not checking my box of bagels sooner that 1 hour (I was so busy prepping for an event I didn't get to check or eat the bagels the moment I picked them up). I just wanted to enjoy the Asiago cheese but didn't expect them to replace.. I just wanted to make them aware ... but she refused to even apologize for their mistake. I almost always enjoy their bagels and cream cheese, but some of the associates are not friendly, considerate or welcoming. I came into the store to purchase a sandwich based upon the January 1-2 promotion. There was one associate taking orders and one associate making food. I waited close to 15 minutes for my food. A third associate came out from the back and started to help make the food. She called out when my order was ready. Apparently the cashier had never asked for my name; therefore, they only knew the food item purchased, not the person placing the order. The associate literally screamed at the top of her lungs announcing the name of the sandwich I had ordered. I initially could not remember which breakfast sandwich I had ordered. She continued yelling the name of the sandwich. When I finally approached the counter, she did not thank me or acknowledge me in a positive manner. Based upon my interactions with this employee, I am inclined to not return to the Einstein Bagels in Alpharetta on Mansell. Before leaving the restaurant, I visited the restroom. It was dirty. The trash can was completely full and overflowing, and there were no toilet seat covers. All three trash cans near the coffee and drink machine were also completely full. A friend told me to check out Einstein Bagels while I was in the Atlanta area, and I'm so glad I did! I was on the go so I got bagels and lox to eat in the car and then several different types of bagels to take with me to toast at home. The bagels and lox was delicious plenty of capers on it which I definitely love and the rich cream cheese and salty lox were delicious on the warm bagel. The store is pretty large, but there's no indoor seating offered, everything is roped off. Masks are required so that was great. Next time in Atlanta I will definitely be back to check them out! read more

I was helped by Jasmine and Alveeda. Both were very helpful, and I enjoyed the drink and bagel sandwich they recommended. I will definitely be driving out of my way just to come back to this location. Customer service to me is everything. Einstein Bros Bagels does a good job with bagels and coffee. I needed an afternoon pick me up, so headed over for coffee and toasted sesame bagel. Lots of different types of bagels on the menu and sandwiches too. Ordered from the app and it was ready when I got there, and they have the orders set on a table near the entrance. Totally contactless. This location has a really nice covered outdoor seating, which is the way to go with covid. Talked to the staff briefly when I got my coffee refill and they were very friendly. Only downside was limited coffee selection as it was late afternoon. Stopped in the bathroom and it was very clean. Convenient location near GA-400 and lots of parking in giant strip mall with lots of other stores. Worth a stop if you need a decent coffee and quick snack. read more

The store in Alpharetta on Windward Pky was one of the worst I've been to. Before I could even finish my order they were going to toast the bagel. She'd already put it in the toaster and instead of getting another bagel she fished it out with a knife. My order was an everything bagel with cream cheese and lox only. It was put together so poorly that it fell apart when I unwrapped it. There was barely any cream cheese on it and the lox were in a lump. The bagel itself was terrible as I could barely bite into it cause it was so tough, almost like it was microwaved and overcooked. The employees acted like it was an imposition to make my order. Dropped by here last weekend after picking up my Thanksgiving 5k Race number from Big Peach Running next door. This location sits off Windward Pkwy, less than a quarter of a mile from 400 (exit 11). This is my second time coming here, but it had been 3+ years since the last time. Parking can be hard to find when this spot is busy, since it sits in a location with other stores. It's on the end, so they offer up covered outdoor seating. I do like the layout and decor of the place. Tables, booths and bar type seating give you a few options. The framed photographs really caught my eye, which were whimsical. I was craving a bagel in lox, or a Nova Lox (their version). The guy behind the counter got my order started before I even ordered or paid. They also have many other types of bagel options plus pastries. Plus, they have doggie bagels which I thought was cool. I ordered a small coffee with my meal, and paid $10+. The area with the coffee was messy when I first went up to it, but they cleaned it up some while I was there. There were about 5-6 options and I settled on the hazelnut. Thankfully they had creamer and sugar containers, bc I love a lot of cream and sugar. I always feel like that guy in Office Space when I have to open up all those packets of sugar to get it to my liking. My bagel in lox was good but it wasn't much for what I paid. Not a lot of salmon, capers or onions. I was still hungry when I finished it. The coffee was the best part (their brand is Caribou that they use). I saw the bad reviews on this place with service, but I had a good visit. It does need to be tidied up a little more. I used to eat Einsteins more often but $10 for a quick breakfast is slowly becoming not the norm for me, and still hungry. Bagel quality has gone downhill, even the recipie seems different. Bagels previously had plenty of toppings and were soft and fresh now they tend to be dry and hard with very little topping. I asked one of the counter help to microwave it for me and she left it in for 10 seconds and it was still cold. Then after waiting for 25 minutes for our sandwich we were told they were out of the bagel we ordered so had to switch. They were out of almost every variety. this is at 12:00 on a Sunday....
