    Blueberry muffin
    Becky L.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast on Saturday. Grabbed a lemonade, iced coffee and blueberry muffin. There wasn't much of a line but there was a bit of a slow down with checking out. It seemed like too much to enter a rewards number and insert a credit card, but we got it sorted out. The patio was spacious and everything tasted great!

    There's capers this time YES!

Last time I ordered a smoked Salmon bagel it was disappointing to find there where no capers on it. This is story behind my post!

    Can reserve? Yes you can.

Been only twice. Review premature, perhaps. I think it is a great place to sit and relax reading a book or getting some work done. Window seating, fireplace round table, and high and low tables. Most of the tables along the wall have access to electrical outlets. Music is loud enough to hear and bonce to but not too loud to carry on a conversation with the person across from you or on your side. Layout, decor, and materials are good but it doesn't seem well maintained and isn't kept very clean. Also heavy kitchen smells on the smoky side easily make it into the seating area. Drinks are ok but a little higher [cost] compared to elsewhere. Haven't bothered to the try the food. Will I be back, yes. Will I consider bringing a smart electric mask next time, yes.

After seeing Aubrey Gs. Picture for the nova lox I wanted the best example of one in the Milwaukee area so I reached out to him for his opinion on where to find one. Aubrey explained that nova lox is not really a Milwaukee thing and that Einstein brothers bagels would be the the best place to try one so I went over for breakfast. The place was nice looking for a chain bagel place with real wood tables and chairs, yellow walls and high ceilings. The Coffey is self serve when they hand you the empty cup. The counter has five varieties of Coffey to chose from and I chose the dark roast. There is a nice variety of bagels and muffins with an assortment of sandwiches. There were all range of ages from children to seniors so they seem to appeal to everyone. You walk up to the counter and place your order, they take your name and call you when it's ready. My nova lox was ready in minutes and looked good. The nova lox comes on a plain bagel but you can pick any one if you want. It's a bagel with creme cheese smear, capers, tomato, red onion and the thin slice of the cold smoked salmon. The bagel was good with that chewy skin and fresh soft center. The salmon had a nice smokey seasoned flavor to complement the whole sandwich. I really liked how all the taste and textures played together and this was a great change for breakfast. Overall I enjoyed my nova lox with fresh Coffey even if it's a chain restaurant and I will file it away as an alternative to the classic American breakfast.

    Mango Orange key lime smoothie

Customer service- Great on most days, but can vary. (Today was awesome!) Experience- The Mango Orange Key Lime Smoothie is extremely sweet, but pairs well with a salty egg sandwich. The French toast bagel sandwich and cinnamon sugar bagel sandwich were really good. I'd get either again! Overall- Good Experience!

Really Love Einstein Bagels. This is not my favorite location though. It will do for the time being or should I say once the remodel is completed at the Shorewood spot. Same great bagels just the service is slightly less and I attribute that to not being a "regular". It's a perfect pit-stop on Saturday morning errands or heading into work. In particular the seasonal bagels rock and there is nothing quite like the Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee! OMG!

    Aubrey G.

Consistently good bagels and most importantly, VERY hot coffee in help-yourself urns.

    Philippe C.

This so called bagel shop is ALWAYS out of sesame bagels. Even at 10 am! If that isn't enough their so called sesame bagels have literally a scant amount of sesame seeds ( see photos). Very disappointed. They need to get customer focused.

Long line when I walked in. But it sure was worth the long like. Food was amazing. Sorry did not take a picture of my sandwich. I was so hungry it didn't last for the photo shot :). Service was extremely pleasant!

The food came to our table hot, which is definitely unusual for these types of breakfast restaurants and delicious too. I like to try something a little different, so I ordered the Avocado Toast with Eggs. I requested my eggs over easy, and they came out perfectly cooked. For my side, I chose the hash browns instead of the fruit. I asked for them to be extra crispy, and in hindsight, I should have asked for them to be extra-extra crispy. They were still very good. Service: We arrived right as they opened, so there were only a few occupied tables. We were seated immediately. Our server did a great job getting us settled in, gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, and never made us feel rushed. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our meal. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a welcoming feel. Large windows fill the dining room with natural light, and the tables and booths provide plenty of space. The noise level was low enough to enjoy a quiet conversation. I also liked how they used wood posts and beams to break up the large dining room, making it feel more intimate. Nice touch. Overall, it was a solid breakfast experience. I'd love to see a few more inventive daily specials to complement the menu.

It's a busy place so we had to wait about 10 minutes on a Saturday morning, but I was OK with it. The building itself is pretty good sized. They have a couple of different rooms with lots of tables and booths. They also have some tables outside to wait at, but I'm not sure if they have an actual outdoor patio to eat at. The service was great and everyone was friendly. They all definitely work well as a team. I started out with just a plain black coffee. They also have iced coffees and Frappuccino type coffees. I believe they have juices and can even make some cocktails like mimosas. They did offer me sugar and cream with my coffee, but I just like my coffee black so that's how I ordered it. For my entrée, I ordered the village omelette and added gyro. It comes with spinach, tomatoes, and feta so the gyro meat sounded delightful in it. It also came with a choice of side, and I opted for fresh fruit. And then finally, you can choose between pancakes or toast. I went with plain sourdough toast. Everything was great and super fresh. The omelette was filling and well-made. They have a gyro sandwich and based on that omelette, I would definitely get the sandwich. The meat was tender and flavorful. And the feta gave the perfect little salty tang. I actually want to re-create the omelette that I had there here in Kansas City because it was so so good. The fruit was fresh and was mainly just honeydew and cantaloupe. And the toast was a perfect vehicle for some of the omelette to my mouth. Overall, I loved this brunch spot. If I lived in the area, I would go pretty regularly. If you are up north in Wisconsin stop in and check them out because you will not be disappointed.

The food is always delicious, the service is truly impeccable with well trained, friendly servers, and it's very clean and homey. I had an egg special, and my choices included two (perfectly cooked) poached eggs, three crisp on the outside sausages, a well balanced fruit bowl with fresh pineapple, melons, and grapes, and a short stack of their light and fluffy pancakes. My husband had over easy eggs, bacon, pancakes and fruit, plus we both had The Coop's rich, deeply flavorful coffee. Everything was excellent and at a most affordable price. Fast forward several hours: my daughter and her young sons were in the area on an errand, so we met up and of course the boys were hungry, so as The Coop was, once again, very close, we went there. My daughter was very happy to see decidedly different menu options for kids' meals than the usual. Two of them had grilled cheese sandwiches with fruit cups, the third had a scrambled egg, sausage, a pancake and fruit, my daughter had French toast, and I had two cheeseburger sliders with fries. Everyone loved their food and the atmosphere, and they all want to go back. Two great experiences in one day!

The manager made an effort to make things right for my family and me, and I appreciated that. Because of that, I decided to give the restaurant another chance, and the service was better overall. However, there was still a significant communication issue regarding the complimentary meals. Our waitress told us that the manager would be comping three meals, which was completely fine since I had brought my daughter with me this time. She asked who the three meals were for and pointed to my fiancé, my mom, and me. I confirmed that was correct. However, when we received the receipt, my mom's meal had been charged. My fiancé ended up paying for it, which I appreciated, but the situation was frustrating and could have easily been avoided with better communication. Unfortunately, we also had the same waitress who had served us during our previous visit. I understood that she was having her first day during our earlier experience, so I tried to be patient and give her another opportunity. This time, though, her attitude felt noticeably different, and I couldn't help but feel that it may have been because I had previously complained about the service. There were several issues during our meal the first time we came (the time before this last visit) We waited approximately 5-10 minutes for water, and my fiancé's pancakes arrived extremely late--he had already finished his main course by the time they were brought to the table. Unfortunately, the pancakes were also not good by the time they arrived. And my smoothie didn't come til I had to ask multiple times. I genuinely wanted to give this restaurant another chance because I still love the food, and I appreciate that the manager previously tried to make things right. However, between the repeated service issues, the lack of communication regarding the complimentary meals, and the uncomfortable experience with the waitress, I don't feel comfortable returning to this location. I will continue enjoying the food, but from now on, I will be visiting the West Allis location instead. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, because the restaurant has great food, but the service and communication need significant improvement.

I saw a picture of their breakfast burrito on social media and made plans to stop the next day. In addition to the breakfast burrito, which came with a side of hash browns, I ordered cheddar broccoli soup and was gifted a brownie for visiting. The breakfast burrito is build your own with a bunch of different options for meats, cheese, and veggies. I went with bacon, American cheese, and spinach and wasn't disappointed. The burrito was hefty and every one of the ingredients stood out. This is something I would definitely come back for. The three hash brown patties tasted as you'd expect and I appreciate that they weren't cold in the middle or bland. You can definitely notice the freshness in the soup. It was thick and used actual florets of broccoli, not just the stalks. Given the size of the burrito I had just eaten, though, I wish there was an option for a smaller portion of soup. The bowl was large and if you just plan on having that as a meal it's fine, but I would have preferred buying a cup as compared to a large bowl. Hopefully that's something they consider as a menu tweak. I'm not a big brownie person, but I enjoyed it. Like the burrito and the soup, it was a sizable portion, so worth the price if you're buying one. I'd be interested in trying their lemon bar or coffee cake on a future visit as those are more up my alley. I enjoyed talking to the woman who was prepping the dining area while I was there. She mentioned that Senor Luna's next door is their sister location and that Miss Daisy's has such early hours (currently 5am during the week) so as to cater to the nearby business park. I appreciate the early hours because I can easily make it there and back over to where I work in plenty of time.
