I ordered ahead and it said 10-15 minutes but it was almost a half hour till my order was ready. First thing they said was they did not have the bagel I had ordered, so be aware their online menu is not accurate. When I finally got my food it was low quality and ice cold. I ended up throwing it away. The cheesy hashbonw was disgusting and partly frozen and the muffin didn't look much better. I ended up throwing it away. The staff apologized but easily forgiven because it was breakfast time peak hours. For sure they only want to serve the customers quality bagels, cream cheese smears, coffee and bagel sandwiches. Stay away! I went into this location and sat down my computer on one of empty tables. I was planning to order coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The place had ONE OTHER PERSON in it. I had one short, urgent email to answer before I put in my order. Before I could even finish the email, a rude and nasty worker came over and asked if I was "going to actually order something." I indicated that I had planned to. She rolled her eyes and said "ok." I packed up and went to Tim Horton's which is right next door. Mind you - I just ordered over $100 in catering a couple weeks ago from this same location. She could have accomplished the same thing without the lousy attitude. Unsanitary. The owner, manager and a couple employees don't wear hats as required by health code. A couple of the females have very long hair. When they bend down to get bagels the pony tail falls into the baskets. When I complained they only laughed. A call to the corporate office was just as bad. They don't require management to wear hats. When I asked about health code they repeated that management isn't required to wear a hat. So their company policy overrules state laws. Constantly low on bagels. Don't try to order a specialty bagel especially the power bagel. I was told the co-owner told them not to make very many because she can't afford it. When I walked in I was greeted with smiles by the cashiers. This was my first time at Einstein Bro'a and the cashier helped me decide what I wanted to eat and drink... she was so pleasant and helpful. I got a 6 cheese bagel and a black iced coffee with caramel. The bagel has the perfect texture and was delicious. The coffee was by far the best coffee I have ever had. The taste was fantastic. Not sure if has happened with anyone else but I have not been to Einsteins since October and I found two fraudulent charges in my bank account, on in November and from yesterday December 2nd 2021 all for the exact same amount. I did not go on either of those days, it is possible that they are charging my card since the information is in their system. My wife has noticed extra charges as well. Just went in with my boyfriend and had the worst experience ever. the guy working was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. He raised his voice at me because I asked him to top my drink off with more coffee because there was an extra inch of space at the top of the cup. He was then incredibly rude saying that I get less coffee because I ordered less ice. Then as we were leaving I went to grab a few napkins and he wedged his way between me and the counter, I then said he was being rude and he started laughing. He not only was not wearing a mask, but literally left no distance between him and I. The rude owner of Einstein bagels on Canton Center has just lost my future business. I called in an order after an early morning dental appointment at Ford Rd and Beech Daly. The girl taking the order asked me to pay with a credit card, and I explained that I was driving. When I arrived at the store 25 minutes later, the girl was busy on the computer and the owner was wandering around behind the counter. It was 5 minutes of standing there without any customers before the owner asked what I wanted. I was disappointed to learn that he hadn't even started making my order yet. I waited for him to make my order and then he told me "next time you pay over the phone". I explained that I was driving. He said in an angry tone "you could have pulled over". The bagels are is always good, the Wi-Fi works well too which is a plus, and the coffee is hot. I have stopped in here several times to surf the web and have a quick breakfast. The staff on all occasions have been friendly, especially on Saturdays. One time in particular they took their time while I had a long look through their menu. I had their Nova lox bagel with no capers it was well put together and tasted fine. I've had this at other Einstein bagel shops and there isn't much you can do to mess it up. The owners of this location are rude and confrontational. Been a loyal customer since they opened but today was the last straw. Refused to honor $7 Tuesday price arguing with an 88 year old man about it only being available on Monday. Even though the customer mentioned the special. The owner said it's not his responsibility to honor it if you didn't give him your account number. The customer mentioned it- why didn't you ask for his reward number? I have always been asked by this owner for it or if I had and coupon or rewards points to use. Once again the owner didn't slice the bagels as asked (3 or 4th time this has happened). The owner was very condescending when it was brought to his attention. By sarcastically saying oh sorry I missed that and snatched the bag back. Then while slicing he start whispering to his wife and I spoke up and said if you have an issue you can address directly rather than talking about your customer in front of him. So rude - I will never return to this location. There are 2 location in Plymouth (1 at Sheldon & 5 the other at Ann Arbor just East of Main Street). We've been here several times, and each visit has been like the last--OK. Fortunately, the bagels are delicious, which keeps us returning from time-to-time. On pleasant weather days, It's a treat to sit on the patio. Service is a bit slow at times, even when they aren't busy. Several of the employees aren't friendly--they aren't rude, but they come across as just not being very nice. We usually get here between 10:30 and noon, and regardless of time, they are always, without fail, out of the same bagels. If I've noticed this after a few visits, they've been open long enough to notice, and know that they should be making more of these bagels (most notably, cinnamon sugar) and less of others. We've also never seen the bagel bites and pull apart cinnamon muffins here that my kids grew fond of at the Ann Arbor Rd. location. So, if you're in the mood for a bagel, it's not a bad place to stop. It's just not great. read more
