The vibe changed as soon as this aggressive man walked in barking orders at his team, while making the whole store uncomfortable. I would never work for such a jackass. Todd, you need to learn how to treat your employees. I have been a manager in the restaurant industry, and honestly, managers like you make others hate their job. This place is terrible. I usually only go to the Evans location since they have literate employees. Unfortunately their bagels didn't proof this morning and were teeny tiny. I was forced to go to this location. They never serve warm food it's always cold to where the cheese doesn't met on the breakfast bagel. They also never cut the bagels. This place is a total joke. I walked in to get a cup of coffee and a cinnamon-raisin bagel with cream cheese. There was hardly anybody in the place except one couple. I ordered and sat down expecting a short wait. The person who took my order didn't even bother to give me a cup to get my coffee. I figured no big deal, I will get it when my bagel is ready. Ten minutes later and I'm still sitting there with my thumb up my ass waiting for one of three people to process my order. Someone finally started my order. I was called to pick it up at the counter and I was given a cup to dispense my coffee, but the canister with the flavor I wanted was empty. Back to back times now my boyfriend and I have gotten the WRONG order! Literally have asked for a farmhouse bagel & the tomato avocado bagel & every time they give us some random bagel with some weird red sauce & cheese with the egg white. My avocado bagel NEVER comes with avocado either this is three times now this has happened to me. They rarely answer their phone either so it's very annoying. How hard is it to literally look at the menu & see the CORRECT ingredients to be putting on our bagels when we order?? I guess really hard! Don't recommend this location either... also 0 seating so you have to eat in your car or the 2 tables they have outside which always has people sitting there anyways. read more

I've been going to Einstein since I was little. Their bagels are my absolute favorite, especially the Asiago and honey wheat. I also like the option of being able to get just a bagel and cream cheese, or a bagel sandwich. This location used to be just Einstein. Now it's an Einstein Bagels/Caribou Coffee hybrid, but this particular location seems to be more focused on the bagels as opposed to the Centennial location which leans more toward Caribou. But I digress. This Englewood location is close to my work and usually doesn't have too long of a wait. I almost always come in after 12pm and they have plenty of bagels left. My only wish is that they had dark roast coffee at the self-serve coffee bar in the afternoons. read more

Five stars for the wonderful customer service I received. Misty is someone you want on your team. If you are hiring, you want Misty on your team if you are a customer, you want Misty on your team. This was my first time visiting this Einstein bagel, and I am not normally a customer of Einstein bagel, but I would not hesitate for a second to return here because of the fabulous customer service. I've always been a fan of Einstein bagels, and was so excited when I found out that Einstein would be going into the old Payless shoe space. I really wish the service here was a little quicker, and the product more consistent. There have been a few occasions my bagel sandwich was so burnt it was almost inedible. I had been a customer to this particular store on Hampden for the last 6 years and a regular 3 or 4 times a week. I was very disappointed the manager confronted me on a little hustle I gave a new employee for loosing concentration while providing him with my rewards number. Instead of training him to deal with any difficult customer, much less a repeat customer who always gave them $5.00 tip and on Christmas $20.00 each, the clueless manager had the audacity of confronting me, and threating me that he will not tolerate any disrespect to his employees. Really? Do you know you are threatening one of your high rollers? In casino environment, you would be fired on the spot. Never confront your customers. Always train your employees to do a better job. Average for this type of chain. We hadn't been in a few years, but gave it a shot last weekend. Though it was chilly, they had the door propped open. Thankfully one of the other patrons closed it (yes, I suppose I could have also). The lox comes in an amount about half of what I recall, though it's still the quality I expect. There was a steady stream of patrons, likely heading up the highway to explore the great outdoors and getting some fuel - caffeine included - on the way. The Caribou coffee dark roast is fabulous! just came here today, I only ordered a 6 cheese bagel and a vanilla cold brew. I love the vanilla coldbrew at einstein but today i think they forgot to add the vanilla. I also asked for my bagel toasted and they must've forgot or they toasted it for 2 seconds. Pros- the staff is so friendly! Everyone was so pleasant and kind, 5 stars for the staff. Cons- this place was really dirty. Too dirty for a food establishment. Arrived before 8 am and all the coffee containers looked like they hadn't been wiped down in weeks. Stained coffee all over the floor and counter tops. For a slow early Sunday it wasn't for traffic that created this mess. Coffee stained sugars filled the sugar options. Floors were dirty, counters were dirty. I'm not a clean freak but I do think establishments that serve food should wipe down more frequently. Hate to see what non public view areas looked like. read more

What a badly run place -- you know how sometimes you walk into a place and can just tell things are off? Walk in and there's a bunch of groups waiting for food (uh-oh), the line is super slow, so almost leave but stay and order... a blueberry muffin. The muffin is right there... I can see it behind the counter glass... just needs to be put in a bag and handed over the counter. But nope. I'm apparently in the same queue as all the breakfast sandwiches, etc... 5 people are working, but they're really disorganized and slow, every order seems to require debate between the staff. 15 mins go by... ...the muffin is still there... I can still see it... Can I just walk around the counter and grab it? Sigh.. Finally have to get up and capture one of the staff. They grab the muffin, put it in a bag in 10 seconds, give it to me (no apology, no nothing), and I walk out (at last) with a muffin, but with a major side of frustration. read more

The worst customer service interaction I've ever had happened at this location. My mobile order was taken by someone else, but the employees there refused to remake my food or provide a refund. I was told that I should have paid more attention to the food...it was never placed on the mobile pickup stand, at least while I was waiting there. I'm not even sure they made it in the first place. After the employee blamed me for the issue and refused my refund, I left. I've waited over two weeks for a refund from corporate, which you can only contact online, and I haven't heard a thing. I was handed bags of things which I was informed was my coffee, creamer and "everything else." Got to my business meeting (expecting to impress) to find we weren't packed knives for shmear or napkins.
