Stopped by to grab a bagel and coffee mid day. I got the everything bagel with garden veggie shmear and vanilla hazelnut coffee. Perfectly toasted and smeared bagel and coffee was happily enjoyed out on the patio. Good, quick service and ambiance, and as always, plentiful parking.

Green Chile Bagel vs English Muffin

Stopped in and bought half a dozen bagels Wednesday to take home and toast. The bagels were so thin, it was extremely difficult to slice them. These were some expensive crackers . The flavor of the green chile wafer with schmear was still somewhat on point, and you must respect their commitment to ending over eating and reducing obesity.

Service was fine. Got my nova lox bagel after I asked for no capers and there were a few in there, not sure how that happened. Also they literally put two small onions on it. That's it?

Super duper easy to order on the app and come pickup curbside!

I was super pleasantly surprised by downloading the app, ordering our breakfast, and having it literally ready as we arrived to pick it up curbside. It was quick, easy, delicious, and it took all of what, about 7 minutes total for me to order. I was a few blocks away but I ordered at the gas station, paid through app using my Apple Pay, and when we arrived about 7 minutes later I pulled into the curb side pickup line (there are signs pointing you in the right direction for this - there's also a note and a sign and a number stating if you've waited for longer than 3 minutes to please call). But I arrived, pulled up, and within seconds a lovely gentleman who I presume was smiling even though I couldn't be certain because he was wearing his mask (they also ask you wear a mask at the pickup line) walked out the side door and handed us our treat bag. We were off right away. Was a super quick and pleasant experience and of course our breakfast (I ordered three eggels and a breakfast sandwich) was so delicious. Great experience and great service. Thank you, Einstein's!

    Almost no cream cheese

I ordered 2 bagels this morning in advance for pick up. I waited for my order patiently as they seemed busy. After about 20 mins there was no longer a line so I asked a lady if she could look into my food. She said sorry it's being worked on now. About another 5-10 mins and I got my 2 bagels. Then I get home and realize it's not how I ordered them. I ordered one toasted with cream cheese and it did not come toasted and both had almost no cream cheese. It wasn't worth the money or time. I live so close so it's convenient normally to come here but I won't be coming back.

I usually stop by for bagels for the office which consists of a dozen bagels and two schmear tubs.. perfect breakfast snack for any office (garden or strawberry schmear are the office favorites) On today's visit I stopped in for a sandwich.. went with the tasty turkey.. served on an Asiago bagel with turkey, cucumbers, tomatoes & schmear.. this was a tasty and filling meal.. comes with a pickle spear and side item.. fruit salad, potato salad or chips. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating .. today's service was fast & friendly.

Baked goods available during my visit.

I went at 9am on a Saturday and it was very busy! My two sandwich order was perfect and every employee was so nice!! I would recommend this location to everyone, just check your order before you leave.

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Serving up quality diner food with friendly service, classic hits, and blast from the past decor. What We Ordered: - Steak & Eggs: Under $20?! Count me in! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. Honestly, we both left very impressed as all the food was seasoned well and cooked beautifully. Who says diner food can't be done well?! Nana Dee's has set the standard for diner food!

We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

We have been curious…read moreabout this place ever since we stopped and talked to the person seating people while we were waiting for our reservation across the street. He mentioned a pickle martini, which I ordered at lunch and was very good. My wife ordered the welcome burger and enjoyed it except for them getting the toppings wrong. Our granddaughter really liked her mac and cheese and there was a generous serving of sliced fruit. And my Jose Burger had just enough spice and was very tasty. That what's the good. So we stopped here for lunch on a Friday about 12:30 with our 3-year-old granddaughter. Our initial server barely said two words to us and we felt like we were an imposition. When we ordered my wife asked did they have Pepsi or Coke products he said we have bottles and cans of everything, so she ordered a Coke. It was Mexican Coke which is fine, but $5, and it wasn't until we noticed other people had cans of regular Coke and realized he did not give us a choice. When we ordered our burgers, again he barely said two words and did not ask us how we wanted them cooked even though the menu says cook to order. When we got them they were very rare, see the picture, which we're okay with although we would have ordered them a little more done. My wife said no onions on hers, and of course there was onions on her berger. Later we were served by a waitress who was much more friendly and we realize was probably just not there yet when we sat down, so the initial waiter didn't really care what we thought since we weren't going to be his customers at the end. So sadly what could have been a very pleasant lunch was spoiled by the initial waiter, even though the food was good we may not be back.

We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Just 2 minutes from the ALB airport, this spot hits exactly how you need it to hit when you're either coming off a flight or heading into one: easy, classic, no-frills comfort. I went with the corned beef hash + pancakes breakfast, and it delivered that old-school diner energy. The hash was hearty and filling, eggs cooked just right, and the pancakes? Soft, golden, and exactly what you expect--nothing fancy, just solid. But let's be clear... the real reason you come here is the pie. Village Inn doesn't play about their pies, and the banana cream pie is the headline act. Light, creamy, not overly sweet, topped with whipped cream and just enough texture to make every bite feel intentional. For under $20 a pie, it feels like one of those rare "still worth it" moments in today's food scene. Yes--it's a chain.
