Beyond disappointing. My husband ordered me a nova lox bagel to bring home, after not being able to eat salmon during my pregnancy I was so looking forward to this. What I received was a bagel with two small onions, barely any cream cheese, a couple of capers, old small soggy tomatoes and salmon that had browning on it. You would think that for $9.00 you would be getting at the very least fresh salmon. I'm breastfeeding so there is no way that I would risk eating this. He ordered himself a bagel with no cheese because he's lactose intolerant and of course they added the cheese. We work hard for our money and it's disgusting to get such a horrible meal read more

Employee stated "why are they standing behind me, I hope they hear me, I'm not working any faster" Waiting for over 30 minutes to get two bagels. Food Quality was mediocre after such a long wait. No one care to apologize for the long wait. Manager was also complaining with another employee about a customer getting upset that she was not told they did not have the bagels she requested. No one wiping down tables after customers left. This location has a lot of improvement to do this is not the first time that I have experienced this type of service. read more

I've been to this Einstein location several times and have had positive and negative experiences; I like the atmosphere as it doesn't get very busy/noisy so great for studying or working, but sometimes the workers don't do a good job as one time my bagel sandwich came completely cold to me and had to be reheated two more extra times. However, a special needs man walked into the store today and was completely lost looking for his father. Without hesitation, a woman took action to help this guy, asking him questions and trying her best to help out. The man brought up wanting a drink and that's when I realized she appeared to be the manager as she quickly went to get him a coke and tried her best to keep him calm. She asked for his dad's name, a number to call, and even went to the store next-door to see if he was there. Fortunately, at some point the man appeared outside, the son pointed him out, and she helped reconnect them. Unfortunately, I didn't hear the father thank her for the help, but I wrote this review to let her know her kind actions did not go unaware. If she's the manager, it made me admire this location a little more. I'll always support people who help support people. Faith in humanity restored a little more today. read more

I had not been to an Einstein Bagel shop for many years, and after visiting this morning, I remembered why I had stopped going. On my way to my nail appointment, I had a craving for a pumpkin muffin, after all, we are officially in the Fall season once again, not that anyone in Miami would ever even notice the change of season with the scorching heat that we are experiencing... I walked into this shop and immediately noticed that it was completely packed with lots of Sunday morning hungry people.. The line in front of me was huge but I was determined to patiently wait my turn to satisfy my craving. When it was finally my turn, the girl that took care of me did not have any customer service skills or was never trained to deal with clients.. I asked her a question regarding their selection and she looked at me as if I had asked her a question in another language... I then asked a gentlemen who was prepping food and he did not even answer me.. I proceeded to pay for my food and prepare my coffee only to find that the coffee area was in disarray.. The saddest part of this experience is that my beloved pumpkin muffin was dry and stale :( The coffee was delicious though and the only reason for the one lonesome star. I love Einstein'd but I would rather drive 45 minutes to us1 than come to this location again. I was a kitchen manager for a chain restaurant and i know how busy things get but there's no excuse for the terrible customer service in this location. I ordered a 6 pack of bagels and I waited over an hour for them to tell me they "gave away the bagels they set aside for me now there's non left" then once I was offered a refund from the manager he said actually I have to clean tables and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes. I love coming to Einstein bagel but today I walk in and the guy behind the counter is spraying some sort of foamy liquid on the glass and shelf of the bagels.I questioned it and he said it doesn't hurt the bagels but you can clearly see that it was wetting the bagels. I proceeded to order making sure to choose the ones that didn't get wet while l was there. Thy were out of asiago bagel and I asked him about it and he said we are out. Never offering to make me any. I asked, can they be done? He then turns to the manager, do you want to make them? The lady that was behind me saw this and she was smart and turned around and left!! As I was choosing my order he got it all wrong and he had to recount several times to get it right! As I went to pay, I asked for a cup of water and she asked me "for what?" So glad I discovered Einstein Bros Bagels in Concord, NH. I had the apple wood bacon sandwich this morning... YUM. don't mean to sound like an infomercial but I needed that before work. Disappointed in the downturn the Einstein in Carrollwood had taken this year. This is the third time in a row that I've received a bagel with a scraping of cream cheese, not enough to even cover half of the bagel. Combined with onion bagels that have no onion on the outside and I am not sure what's going on other than they are cutting too many corners. I'm done giving them more chances. read more

Too slow. If you are going to wait 45 minutes for a bagel sandwich and a half dozen bagels you might as well go to Denny's or La Carreta down the street and have a proper meal. I wish there was an Einstein Bros. Bagels for every Panera Bread out there because their bagels and coffee are superior. Plus, I'd rather hang out on my laptop at an EBB than a PB any day. The only outlets available are in the center of a hightop communal table in the center of the room. Unfortunately for me, that means I can't work at the bar by the door or any other table. There are also a few tables outside which I enjoy sitting at on a cloudy day (otherwise it can get really hot in the sun.) WHEN they have real eggs available (whole eggs, cracked and cooked to order), their breakfast bagel sandwiches are delicious. Hopefully, they will continue to offer this because I detest liquid eggs. I usually opt for the Bacon, Cheddar and Egg on Asiago bagel. If you think Einsteins is just about breakfast, think again. They make a killer Turkey sandwich on Potato Roll. Its got Turkey, cheddar, crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, deli mustard and mayo. Their deli sandwiches are served with a choice of side; chips, banana, potato salad (really good!) or fruit cup. I've also been eyeing this Pizza Bagel that fellow Yelper, Johandra P. posted a photo of. I think I'll have that for lunch today. :P Other lunch sandwich items include Chicken Salad, Hummus, Tuna salad, Ham & Cheese, Italian Chicken Panini, Chicken & Pesto and more. I love the variety of bagels available. They have the usual lineup PLUS so many unique additions. Having plenty of sweet bagels to choose from is a bonus in my book. Here are just some of their bagels and schmears*: BAGELS Asiago - One of my faves Blueberry Chocolate Chip - Like Cinnamon Raisin - Like Cinnamon Sugar - Love it Cranberry - pretty good Everything - Very good. I love the honey butter on any of the sweet bagels but it goes really well on the Cinnamon Sugar or the Apple Cinnamon bagel. DRINKS Their Vanilla Hazelnut coffee is so tasty. Bonus: it is self serve! I usually drink it (and subsequent FREE refills) over ice. The Cinnamon flavored Winter Blend coffee was great. I can't wait to have it again next year. They also offer 3-4 other coffees , fountain sodas, several espresso drinks like Lattes and Mochas, smoothies, OJ, Honest Kids juice pouches and more. They recently added a Mango Iced black tea. It is slightly sweetened and very good. I had it yesterday. LOCATION So...the Kendall EBB moved from a so-so spot (Kendall Dr. and 138th avenue) to a worse spot (Kendall Dr. and 122nd avenue) The entrance to the plaza it's now located in can be a nightmare to get in to and there is far less parking available here. However, at least this location is nicer and newer. The staff is always friendly and helpful. :) Izzy is the best! She is such a sweetheart. If you're pressed for time, call and place your order over the phone. They will happily make it for you and have it ready for pick up when you walk in. Just be sure to go directly to the register on the left where you pay. The register on the right is for ordering there. NOTE TO EBB; If you add something similar to Panera's "Rapid Pick-Up" system I think lots of people would use it! TIP: Pick up a box of 13 bagels for the office only $6 on Mondays. I want to start off with I LOVE bagels and I'm on a quest to find Miami's best bagels and I could honestly say Einstein bros is one of the best places to get a bagel; with that being said I not only love the bagels here, I especially love the staff. If you are from Miami then you understand that good costumer service is harder to find than Waldo on the last page of the book. Einstein is my go to breakfast place on Saturday mornings. I am a huge nova lox fan and Einstein has the cheapest price for one of my favorite sandwiches than other places I've been to. The employees are usually pretty friendly, and there usually isn't a very long wait. I wish it had more tables just because they tend to fill up quickly. I think this is also because of the location. It's located pretty centrally in Kendall and it's right off the turnpike. My boyfriend always orders the chicken and artichoke panini and he loves it! The cheddar bagel is addictive! The only con of this place is the coffee, it's pretty mediocre and when I get the iced coffee it's really watery. Overall I'll be back here most Saturdays for a quick breakfast before getting on with my day. read more

This Einsteins needs a lot of work. While lines at these establishments can be maddeningly long on the weekends, this locations wait times exceed what you would even expect. Lines are disorganized and I have been several times in which it starts in different areas. This has caused confusion among patrons, slowing the ordering process and wait time down even more. Went on a slow day and I order the regular, (lox bagel on asiago cheese) and after waiting 10 minutes was told they were out of asiago bagels. My friend who ordered at the same time at the register beside me got their asiago bagel which made it sting even more. If they were that low on a specific bagel, you would think they would already have bagels cooking. Not the case, she said they didn't realize and they just began to cook them. Par for the course here. I have also received a lox bagel order without Lox. Literally cream cheese, tomatoes, capers, onions. Not sure how that slipped through the line. If I knew of another similar style deli I would go there but my craving for lox keeps me coming back, and even then only just. read more

Bagels and coffee and goodies on the go and in a breeze! I used to call Kendall my home. I was born and raised in east Kendall, however the west area was a go-to for my family for many years as well. I recently gained employment in the far west Kendall area and find myself passing by the mall that Einstein Bros. calls home around these parts. Wow. What a find I submit. A lot of folks can name off a lot of local or chain coffee and bagel spots, however to me, the taste of a real fresh great bagel is found only at the best shops. I feel that Einstein Bros. does bagels as well as any other place I have ever tried and this location, in west Kendall is perfect for me. As I do pass by to and from my work every day, I can choose to stop before or even after work. Yes, the shop is open until 5pm and not 3pm on week days and I do leave work well before this time and can make it. Surprisingly, the assortment at this late hour in the day is still vast, all things considered. I recently stopped in and found myself enjoying an "Ancient Grains" bagel, which was fantastic and a new variety of flavors my palette really enjoyed. I do plan to try others, however for now, I believe I have my go-to. Whether it is coffee, tea or a bagel or muffin, Einstein has this and much more, with ease of access, ample parking and freshness you will enjoy. SYOY! read more

Dropped by this Einstein (nowhere near my house but close by the office I happened to be at) and ordered breakfast/coffee for myself and a friend I was meeting up with. Service was efficient and well-organized, including markers to ensure social distancing. The manager (I didn't catch her name) was absolutely wonderful. She was taking orders and making sure everyone waiting for an order was informed of the status of their order. She was also really kind, giving her customers compliments and being extra patient. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I went with my parents for breakfast. After my parents added their items to the order they proceeded to find a table while I requested my food and paid for our full order. The older man standing beside the cashier (which I suppose was the manager) yelled at my parents who were by then at the other side of the restaurant that "they hadn't paid yet". EVERYONE turned to look, it was such an embarrassment! I explained that I was paying and wasn't done with the order and he didn't even apologize for causing such a scene. I litterally love Einstein bagels. But this location is not it. The best thing about my trip today was the coffee. The manager is super rude and there's no structure. Everyone running around not knowing what's going on. I ordered an tomato avocado and bacon sandwich and it came with ....no avocado ..... that's litterally the main part of the sandwich. And when I came back to mention it I got attitude from the manager. And they couldn't remake it because they had no more bagels. 4 sandwiches and none were toasted when specifically asked "would you like them toasted". Overall bad experience today read more

This location always runs out of bagels, when I walked in the place was filthy! Tables with stains, trash cans overflowing and I waited over 30 minutes to get my order. While waiting I saw the supervisor, Wanda, bossing around the employees in the most rude manner in front of all the customers. Another customer arrived that she recognized and gave special treatment to offering free drinks etc. I saw a bag placed on the counter with no receipt or name called for it. It sat there on the counter for another 5 minutes I asked the employee who it was for she shrugged, peeked in the bag and said there was a wheat bagel in there. It was my order and I got home just to realize they had gotten my order wrong. This was not the first time this has happened. This location needs serious help. read more
