The drive through is closed - not sure if that was just today or if they're waiting to re-open after getting up and running for a while. It's been so long since I've been here I don't really remember what it was like before but they seem to be on top of their game. Line was about 8 people deep and moved quickly. One register to order, next register to pay and get drinks then wait to the side for your order. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. Bagel was good but a little light on the cream cheese for me. So to begin with, Naomi, our cashier charged us for Garden avocado bagels... my wife's was supposed to be sesame seed bagel, with one egg, and mine was supposed to be poppy seed bagel with 2 eggs (they ran out if everything bagels), both ordered as 'make it a meal' which includes a twice baked hash browns and a medium coffee, of which we ordered both as make it a meal. What we got: our coffee cups were immediately given to us, so we got those, but when our food was ready, they forgot our hash browns, and our sandwiches were wrong! Both were with poppy seed bagels, and both with one egg! I asked the girl if she can give us a couple hash browns but she messed that up too and only gave us one! I told her we had 2 meals and we still needed another one! Finally she got it for us and said to hell with it on the sandwiches as we were starving already (no doubt they would've screwed that up too!). Another few things: tables are NOT wiped down, they're disgusting with trash and crumbs from other customers' meals. The trash cans are all over full and not tended to either! The manager never once came over to apologize for the screwed up order either! To make it all worse, no receipt was given to us by Naomi so we could get comment on this store, which is why I am on yelp to do so! While the food tasted ok, it was not what we ordered. When we came it there was no one in line. We ordered 3 bagel sandwiches and went to sit down. All the tables were filthy! No one was cleaning up and a lot of standing around. We then waited about 45 minutes for those bagels to come out. Wild since no one was even in line. It seems as though they focus quite a bit more on their mobile orders rather than the people that come into the lobby. We will not be coming back. Bummer since the bagels were decent. read more

The bagels are fresh and tasty. The Tasty Turkey sandwich came with a toasted Asiago bagel, turkey, tomatoe, cucumber, spinach, onion and lettuce, chive shmear and a bag of chips at a reasonable price. This is a healthy alternative to fast food burgers! The staff is friendly, professional and proficient. The place is clean, spacious and decorated nicely, with humorous posters. Went here for the first time and after ordering a nova lox bagel I noticed 8 people that ordered after me got their order. I told the manager and he compensated me with a box full of bagels which was great. After taking off I was ready to eat my nova lox bagel and when I opened the box my bagel was charred, I want it double toasted to where it's golden brown not black. read more

However, when I arrived the line was wrapped around the building with a note in the door lobby closed and mobile order must wait in line. The line was not moving. I had somewhere to be and could not wait. There was no where online to cancel an order and when you call the restaurant they do not answer, so ridiculous! Beware of this scam. read more

I absolutely love this bagel shop, always have! This is the first time I've been utterly disappointed in what I received for my order and at the price I paid. Why have a drive thru if you're just going to block it off? I've attempted to come three times and have seen chairs blocking off the drive thru. I'm often stopping by with my dog so I need to use the drive thru as I don't leave him in the car when it is sunny. I come here specifically because it has a drive thru. I'd go inside with my dog but he's not allowed. Leaves me in a pinch and I often have to just waste my gas and leave to go somewhere else. Being closed once is fine and I can understand if something isn't working. But numerous times it's been blocked. Food is fine, drinks are fine, I gave 3 stars because when we have been able to use the drive thru the guys working have been very kind and also because my dog is obsessed with the doggy bagels. read more

Ordered on mobile app today, Saturday. Took well over 25 minutes to get my order. Talked to "supervisor?" twice and she basically kept saying they're working on it. Finally went up again and it was on the rack.... They're acting like it's been there but it was not till after all this time. Don't mobile order! The people next to me ordered at counter & the lady said it took about 10 minutes. The manager should have gotten my "lost" order done immediately and offered some sort of compensation. read more

Well, it's our last time here. Once again the wait for our food is terribly long. We ordered online for pick up at 12:50 and it is now 1:10 and we are still in the restaurant waiting for our food. Went in to order a bagel for lunch and buy a pack of 12 no line i was thrilled. Until I stood there for over 5 minutes with no acknowledgement no eye contact with the 4 workers no hey welcome in we will be with you as soon as we can. Nope .. NO NOTHING .. they all saw me they all averted their eyes ??? Bad bad service . I saw another person over by the coffee looking for someone too. This yas yesterday 11/29 at about 1230 1 pm. You guys do any customer training? Seems like your employees just flat out suck with it. Came it just now and stood by the register for at least 10 or more minutes and not one person said anything to me. I use to love coming here and have never had a problem. Seems like the younger you hire the manners go out the window. They don't toast the bagels in this place so don't bother asking. My asked for double toasted and got just a raw warm bagel I had a cold bagel with butter not toasted at all even though I asked for it toasted. Took 25 minute because the guy gave our first order to the wrong person. It wasn't even busy and there were six people working. In all of Reno there are no dumber employees than in this place. If I could give less stars I would!! What an absolute joke of an establishment. I ordered in their app for pick up. When I arrived the store was closed and only the drive through was open. I ordered online to pick up at 11:30. I have a commitment at my work at noon, so I was giving plenty of time to get back. When I got there, the doors were locked, and said to pick up in the Drive-Thru. I got in line, about 9 cars back. I finally received my online order at 12:05. To wait in a line, that I didn't have to, and went out of my way to avoid, is RIDICULOUS! I'm sorry your short staffed, but maybe don't take orders online that you can't fulfill them, or just let me run inside to get my bagel, like always. I ordered online 2 Bakers dozen and asked to have the bagels sliced. When I picked up my order, none of the bagels were sliced. This is the second time this has happened at the Reno location. Went in about an hour before closed so I wasn't expecting anything spectacular in terms of bagel availability. They still had exactly what I wanted and they were super quick. I believe this bagel sandwich was about $9 (they didn't give me a receipt). It's the tasty turkey sandwich. But you would think for that price it would have more than 2 thin slices of turkey. I thought the turkey would be piled high. It's basically a just veggie sandwich unless you think this is enough meat. I have always wanted to try this location (haven't been to Einstein Bros. since it was at UNR) but every time I drive by the line looks so long! One day, I finally decided to try it out. The drive through line was very long, so I decided to go inside and cut the wait time. Wow, was I wrong! I waited just as long inside for a breakfast sandwich. I might as well have waited in the comfort of my car rather than standing inside next to a pick up counter for over 15 minutes. The sandwich was pretty good, but it wasn't worth the wait or money. I got the Farmhouse sandwich and two bagels to go. I had been hoping for a chocolate chip bagel, but I didn't see any (not sure if they do these anymore or if they are seasonal). Things have to be really bad for me to leave a one star rating here on Yelp. I normally just let it go. Bagels are mediocre (good, if you like cakey bagels) and the breakfast sandwich was mediocre as well. Wait time was rediculously long. I ordered a baker's dozen bagels and one breakfast sandwich just after 9am on Wed 4/2. It was busy but not packed. Waited over a half hour when my breakfast sandwich came out. I had to remind the "server" that I had paid for a baker's dozen bagels also. She jerked her head toward the bagel counter and I repeated the selections I had ordered when I paid. She then handed me a bag, I thanked her and was off on my merry way. When I got home (over an hours drive), I unpacked the bagels for the freezer and found I was 6 bagels short. OK. Mistakes happen and I was super tired myself. With not getting that much sleep and the ridiculously long wait time, I didn't check the bag and didn't even notice that the bag should have been bigger. I immediately called the store and told the person who answered the phone what happened. I told her that I live over an hour away and don't get to Reno on a regular basis , so I would like a gift card for the balance of the bagels that I didn't get. She was very nice and sympathetic and told me that she would have her supervisor phone me to correct this issue for me. NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL. Had anyone called me to resolve this, I would NOT be writing this epic review. As I said earlier... "mistakes happen". But total disregard for customer satisfaction is unforgivable. As things stand now, I won't be going back to this franchise for my usual bagel freezer stock up. This place has delicious food, the only downside is that the wait is absolutely insane during the weekend. Could sometimes be 20-30 minutes to just get your bagel or sandwich. I really believe that they are very understaffed on the weekends. read more

The only reason I ever come here is because the location is very near to my school, so it is convenient. Starting with the food, it's SO inconsistent and overpriced. I made the mistake of getting a turkey bagel sandwich here once and I will never do that again! It was the most dry, bland and empty sandwich ever with like one measly slice of flavorless turkey. The basic bagels with smear are decent, but the amount of cream cheese you get varies wildly from barely any to so much you can hardly swallow. As far as the service, this place is amazingly slow, I don't even know how they manage to move so slowly a lot of the time. The drive through is rarely open which is so annoying, but then again when it is it moves at an absolute snails pace. If there was another bagel place closer I'd probably just never come here again, but as it is I do still drop in from time to time if I'm on my way to or leaving school and craving a bagel. It's disappointing considering they spent so long fixing the place up after the roof situation and finally reopened, I had really hoped the standards would be higher. read more

Customer service could definitely be worked on. I've had 10 years in customer service but this women with brown braided hair on 8/14 around 11am was very rude, I was inquiring about my order when she showed me all of the receipts, I'm assuming to visually show me how busy she was. Extremely rude. I can think of a hundred different ways to let someone know you're busy apparently she can only think of one. read more

Went to get the Texas Brisket sandwich. The picture on the website VS the actual sandwich is a little disappointing but the taste was there. I got my sandwich with one egg and thought the brisket to egg ratio was really well proportioned. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed 2 eggs. All in all a really great sandwich. read more

I was happy to see this location open again. I stopped in to buy a half dozen bagels. Able, at the register helped me. There was one bagel that was not marked. Able told me Apple-Cinnamon . When I was checking out, Able gave me that bagel, asked me to try it and let him know what I thought. He was very helpful and nice. But the Apple bagel was too doughy and the apples were really only on one side of the bagel. I thought I had left me phone on the counter and returned 5-7 minutes later. The store was already closed and I knocked for a few minutes before they let me in. I didn't see my phone but Able came out. Called my phone. When I didn't hear it ring, Able came out to my car with me, called my phone and we found it in the car. That was customer service! Thank you. btw. My delivery driver had to wait awhile for the order and it still managed to come straight out of the freezer. The bagel was ice cold and just overall very poor quality and tasting weird ( chorizo sun bagel). Brought over some friends to meet for bagels, it took over 20 minutes to get 4 plain toasted bagels with cream cheese and a lox bagel. Was not crowded and multiple people behind me got their orders before us. When my baby started to cry I asked how long cuz I had to do school pick up and was told " you are next", another 5 minutes went by so I went to get a refund with screaming kid in toe... was just so incredibly disappointed with how long it took and the customer service. We will not be going here again due to the customer service. Maybe if you order each bagel on a separate transaction you will get your order before other people. Experience was terrible! Waited 45 minutes to get our bagels, the service desk gave us the wrong bag. Upon returning they asked another customer and I to switch bags instead of remaking the sandwiches. When opening the second bag, they order was on the completely wrong bagel, with missing ingredients and ingredients we asked to be removed.
