Ok so I ordered the applewood bacon and egg bagel. Let's be clear here, the bacon was not applewood in the least. Just regular ol bacon. I know the difference, we are from Los Angeles. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offered it on the menu. If I wanted this thin McDonald's quality bacon I could have went to McDonald's. Also, the cashier was unkempt, not sure if she was tired from the pregnancy or what which I can totally relate to but honey it's 9 am so kinda early to be so out of it. Maybe it's the winter weather out here idk but some cheerfulness in your greeting could go a long way. I frequent all Einstein's, and recently moved to Sandy so I needed to find my "go-to" Einstein's. Sadly, this one let me down every single time. As soon as you open the door, you're punched in the face with the aroma of burnt bagels. Now I get it, accidents happen and things burn, but I've been to MANY Einstein's and this is the only one that I get that smell at every single time. And it's always extremely strong, sticks to your clothes and hair, and it's just very unappetizing. If you can get over the smell and get to the register, the staff always treats you like you're an inconvenience. I have my usual bagel order and it's always gotten right at other locations, but almost never has it been delivered correctly here: two honey whole wheat bagels, toasted, with honeybutter on the side. Sure, a little time consuming, but I'm asking to do the work of shmearing my own bagel, so it shouldn't be that hard. Well, no. The last time I ordered this, they melted the butter and gave me a cup full of melted butter with a cup of honey next to it. Someone please explain to me how this is supposed to be honey butter, and how I'm supposed to be able to spread this on a bagel?? I was truly at a loss. When I took it up to the front, the employee looked at me like I was the biggest moron and simply said "I melted it." Yes, I'm aware, now please help me spread it? Problems like these occur every single time at this location. It seems like they need a refresher on the cleanliness of the building, how to properly toast bagels, and what honey butter is. Yummy!! I think this place deserves more than 3 stars. Went to "bros" for bagels to go and they were honestly very good. I come from New York (bagel heaven) and these bagels are actually pretty close to what I've had the past years. The bagel itself is fluffy and not too dry and they have a pretty big choice of sandwiches and spreads (they even sell spreads to go). Between chocolate chip bagel to cheese, pretzel, sesame seed, spinach..or plain.. You should be a happy person :) We had the vegetarian, spinach bagel sandwiches and I may or may not have come back (5min later) to get the Nutella one..(oopsss). PS: for all the Nutella lovers..they do put quite a bit of Nutella.. Very dangerous to have them around the corner..! read more

It's Einstein Bagels. It's a chain, you know what the deal is. The bagels are consistent at pretty much every EBB I've visited across the country, and this one has equally on par bagels - but the schmear could have been a bit more generous. My major qualm, and main reason for the two-star rating is a surprising shock that totally ruined the entire purpose of my visit (getting some work done on the free wi-fi): THERE ARE NO PLUGS. Well, that's not entirely true. There's one outlet - near the miniscule, sun-blinded table sitting lonely in the area where people stand in line. Basically, no one would ever sit there unless they were pining for the power of a plug. I didn't even know Einsteins without plugs existed. read more

I really like Einstein's. They have a good mix of sandwiches to go with the standards you would expect from a bagel shop. The service is usually friendly, but the staff are prone to fairly frequent mistakes. I would normally find that fact annoying to the point that I would not return, but they are so kind and apologetic about their screw ups that it doesn't bother much. read more

I've had a turbulent relationship with Einstein Bros. Bagels. Some days, the order is perfect and absolutely no issues, other days........every single thing is incorrect. In this particular case, the order was incorrect. I ordered a Turkey, Avocado, Bacon on an everything bagel with no French dress stuff. The sandwich came on a plain bagel.......okay, not the end of the world and they added the French dress. Again, the sandwich is edible but just not exactly as I wanted it. I also ordered a blended vanilla Frappuccino. This isn't rocket science people......but they managed to give me something completely different that was vanilla. Disappointed to say the least. I do believe it's the cashier.....as the assembly line is based on the information the cashier enters. Just verify over and over again that she has the order correct. read more

This location is very near my kids' school and each year at the end of school I take bagels in for all of the teachers. Most years I order ahead but this year I let it slip my mind and so I went in at 6:30 am the morning of and ordered coffee, juice and bagels for 45 people. They handled it like pros and got me in and out within a few minutes all while waiting on many other customers quickly and efficiently! Way to go! They made it right! I ordered a trio of beer cheese smearfuls (amazing!!! Btw) and I got two beer cheese with one plain that was cold. When I informed them they quickly made me up another whole order and added a 4th all warm and toasty and lovely. Mistakes are part of life and so I was only a little perturbed when my order was messed up, and in more than one way. This location is usually excellent in customer service but today I think they were having a staffing issue. Mother most important part of all of this experience and what I took away is that they went above and beyond to make it right! Thanks guys! I would recommend that your cashier is a little more engaging and friendly but she was new so maybe she was just nervous. read more

Went in never having been to one before and the cashier was amazing and helped me pick a meal out for me and my wife. Both were spot on!!! Great staff great food. All the food looked really good. Leila- I think that was her name, while taking my order, she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Her attitude was unfriendly and because of this I will not be going back to this location. While asking my what size coffee I wanted, I had to ask what size and she informed me "uh small, medium, large" with the snottiest attitude. Food was great, but now in days, customer service is everything and making sure your customers have a great customer experience. If you have someone with that type of attitude, they should not be the at store front and dealing with customers. read more

****How has a District Manager not done something about this place after so many similar reviews?***Einstein is usually my go-to place for bagel stuff, though I should start buying from local shops. All I can say is that the staff at this location was probably the most unwelcoming crew I've ever encountered. The place wasn't even busy, nor was there a line. Didn't even get a hello when it was time to order. Then the manager there didn't even look at me as he just said, "go to the other end of the counter to pay". No thank you, nothing. Now I get that working at a bagel place probably sucks when you're in your late 30's, but at least show some respect to people. And when you make a Nova Lox bagel, could you at least try to make it look the picture on the menu? At least put enough Lox on there so you'd have a little with each bite... had enough to cover about half of the bagel. Definitely not going back to this location. I been coming here for a while, been pretty good, but now seems like employees dont really care about what's going on. Walked in and we'll no chocolate chip bagels. I like the jalapeno bagels, no jalapeno neither, we order something random not the best but ok. Order chicken salad no salad,, it's 10 am ... I said to my self.. I have not eaten any bagels in over 2 years. Boy was I missing out. A FRESH, warm bagel with my favorite "smeared" flavor was so much better than my dollar drive through breakfast! Only two employees working. Extremely dirty. Got our order wrong multiple times. Very snotty attitude when employee was told of problems. Cold coffee. I tried to take survey on Einstein Bagel website to explain problems but the survey timed out on me several times. What good is a survey if you won't give your customers enough time to provide comments when asked to do so? This location needs new owership that cares enough not to smear the reputation of a good company with their poor management, weak leadership, and total lack of customer service. read more

This location doesn't have very good customer service. 4 people behind the counter talking while they say they have 12 customers ahead of you and can't cut 2 bagels, while one waits for eggs to cook...I like Einsteins and frequent the Riverton location often. Awful service. My husband and I paid and then they told us they didn't have our bagels. I said that I had already paid and they just stared at me. The coffee was all cold at 10 am in the morning. They ignored me when I told them. Their creamer was out as well. The only thing nice I can say is the bagel we got was okay. read more
