Time for an update! Since my last visit which was back in March 28, 2025, I have been there a few more times, but didn't do a review. I walked in today around noon knowing that they close early. I wish they were open at least until 3 or 4pm like other bagel shops are. Got a somewhat friendly hello from Benito and he took my order. Let me not forget to mention that they have their favorite/regular customers and I don't know whether or not I fit in that category. The service here can be hit or miss. Place was somewhat clean, I had to clean my own table and there were some tables inside and outside that needed to be cleaned. Nice music was playing overhead and the atmosphere can be a little more soothing and warm. Food came out very quickly. Ordered their Onion Bagel Plain Shmear add Egg, $3.99 American Cheese, $1.29, Everything Bagel $4.69 Plain Shmear, add egg $3.99 add small slice of tomato for 0.99. Also, got their small 100% Orange Juice & their yummy, creamy spread.. Honey Almond. For all this the price came out to be $31.73 including tax and tip not included. EXPENSIVE!! You can get a dozen eggs from your local grocery store for just the add-on eggs on my bagels. My food was nicely toasted and everything was right with my order. It tasted DELICIOUS, FRESH, and the portions could have been just a little bigger. I will still go back to this place & instead of getting 2 add-on eggs on each bagel, I will only get one. They also do catering, pickup/to-go orders, and third party apps as well. There are many bottled beverage options as well, such as juice, water, etc... Parking lot is always full, shared with a lot of other businesses and has one gender neutral restroom. read more

Always a lot of options for bagel sandwiches on their menu but parking just sucks here because it's in the same parking lot as Trader Joe's on Ventura Blvd. So it gets super busy here. They have about three tables inside and two tables outside. Unfortunately even though they were not busy they moved very slowly to get our order completed. They were also pretty skimpy on the cream cheese in my nova lox bagel. read more

Amazing service, top-notch bagels, the cream cheese and lox tomatoes. Everything is really best of the best. Nice ambience. They're also bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Delicious. The sister at the counter was on triple duty overdrive and had to not only manage the counter but manage watch over and support the other person in fulfilling the orders who was making mistakes left and right! Don't bother coming here. It says they open at 6am but every time I have come at 6am they don't unlock the door until at least 6:20. The employees will see you standing outside & roll their eyes as if it's annoying you showed up during their operating hours. Very busy parking lot but that's nothing new in Studio City. I went in to get a bagel. Waited about 5 mins before someone took my order. The owner or manager was on the phone but I could see three employees in the back talking. I ordered an onion bagel with cream cheese. A guy came in after me and ordered. When the lady called a bagel he took it. I realized about one minute after he left the shop that he took my onion bagel. They remade mine. I left to eat it at home. The bagel was fine but there was barely any cream cheese. Like half of a spread. When did bagel shops start to put barely any cream cheese on a bagel even though they're so much more expensive now. Paid almost $5 for basically bread. Won't be back unfortunately. read more

My wife likes Einstein bagels a lot, especially the Ancient grains. I think they are okay and we bought a dozen to take home, and it was nice that we got a 10% senior discount. The lady who helped us, who's name I don't know, was very helpful and $20 for 13 is certainly a good price these days. We've had either bagels, cream cheese and lox or a bagel sandwich either for lunch or dinner over the past week and still enjoy them, especially my wife but me too. read more

First time at this location and it was just about a perfect experience. My order was made to my specs and arrived in a timely manner. The ingredients tasted fresh as well as the coffee. I am updating my previous review ( which had been quite good), but yesterday, I had a particularly annoying and frustrating experience: once I ordered my meals and was trying to pay, I had my app open and asked to scan, but the order-taker very rudely told me that I should have told her I have the app BEFORE she rang up the order! WTF!? She certainly could have asked me if I have the app or ask for my phone number, but instead, she very rudely made this my fault and my loss, without even any sort of apology! Good morning! My family and I have been going to this store since it was Manhattan Bagels. Last Sunday,my wife and I went to get a bagel, and they were a little busy. We waited, and the young woman who wears glasses told us to wait five more minutes. Then she told the bald, chubby guy, "pinche vieja que se espere,!and laughed with him. I grew up in a Hispanic family and speak fluent Spanish. As a customer, I deserve respect, not this lack of respect. Later, I realized that the woman who expressed about to my wife like that is the manager. There's no way to talk to her if she speaks to customers like that, so I preferred to file my complaint here. I also want to mention that the other employees are very friendly and respectful,and she, as the manager, should set a good example. Ordered the Tasty Turkey bagel and were out of the Asiago bread so had to get the spinach instead. Also ordered a hash brown on the side that looked like a biscuit. The food was pretty mediocre but what made me take another star away was the service. The girl behind the counter was not pleasant at all. Finally got to try this place yesterday! I've been constantly seeing ads and driving by them but we finally made the drive out to try it! Parking lot is awful. Super squishy and it was packed when we went around noon ish. I found an open spot right in front that I was able to squeeze into and I did a perfect job backing in but the car to my right literally did an awful job and made it impossible for my passenger to get in and out. We walked in and it was busy! They also only had 1 person running the registers so she was running back and forth between them. We ordered a Chorizo Sunrise Egg Sandwich with subbed everything bagel, a bacon, egg, avocado, tomato & cheese sandwich with subbed everything bagel as well (for my mom) since it's one of our favorites. We looked at their everything bagel and it looked LOADED but was super disappointed. I don't usually get a bagel sandwich but the chorizo one sounded bomb and it was! My only complaint was that the everything bagel is not like your typical one. It's basically loaded with poppy seeds and sesame seeds ONLY. No salt flakes or garlic which was such a disappointment. My mom enjoyed hers and my bf got the farmhouse and regular French toast bagel with plain cream cheese, very very good! I got a small iced mocha latte which wasn't great and I wasn't expecting much. It tasted kinda like chocolate milk and just watered down in general. Barely any coffee flavor. It was also odd standing around since the tables are close to where you order and check out and people were just kind of all over the place. They had a larger table in the back corner which felt a little trapped since it was behind another table but also next to the fridge for the cream cheese. Cluttered is what it felt like in here but they have seating outside which is honestly probably better and nicer. Weather was perfect! While waiting for our sandwiches, my bf hopped back in line to get a dozen bagels to last us the week. Delicious bagels that we had this morning, in LOVE with the garlic bagel and wish we got more of that one. We got a good variety of sweet and savory ones and some of their cream cheese (chive & onion and a honey almond one). Overall it's a good bagel shop but a little out of the way for us. We love Einstein Bros. Bagels. They are always fresh and super good. They are not soft and mushy like donuts but actually taste like a real NY bagel. The service is great and the place is always so clean. It can get a tad crowded, but the line moves super fast. We especially love their breakfast bagel sandwiches. Their Maplehouse Egg Sandwich s yummy with egg and pork sausage. They have an All-Nighter sandwich which has egg, bacon, cheese and aioli. What I love about this one is it comes on a cheesy hash brown bagel. It is so good. They have any bagel you might want. Their prices are fair. They even sell in bulk. Enjoy. read more

I had made an order at 10:40am and ordered it ahead of time for 11:30am because I know they get busy, when I get there I am told that they don't have the bun I ordered so I had to pick a different one and wait for it, so I did meanwhile I try to buy an orange juice while I wait and I'm in line for about 5 minutes because the cashier is talking to another customer for a long time while I waited next in line. I end up getting my order close to 12pm and I thought that's it but once I get home I look at the bagel the one they had to make because they didn't have the bun and it's burnt all around. read more

I love this place. The best bagels of course are in New York but, it's the water and we can't do much about the minerals in our water. This place is the best in town (in my opinion) . The service is fast and the employees will point out when it is less expensive to get 6 bagels rather than 4. I love that the employees explain why their bagels taste better, the entire process was explained to me. They sell out almost every day so, get your favorite bagel early to avoid disappointment. Worst bagel/customer service experience ever. They're supposed to be open at 6am but stayed closed bc they had a large order. Mind you, it was already 7am. So, I waited 15 minutes for them to finally open and when I placed my order, Benito was extremely rude and dismissive. I allowed him to pick an assortment of popular bagels and he selected the worst assortment ever. He also had the nerve to rush me when I waited over 15 minutes just for him to finally open the door. I want to thank the manager and employees for taking care of a situation that could have gone really badly. I preordered trays for the gathering after my mom's funeral. It was to be delivered by Doordash. It was picked up but never delivered. Between Doordash and Einstein it was worked out that they would remake the trays and my daughter picked them up. I like a good NY bagel. This is as close to one you're going to find in Studio City. Yes, it's a franchise. Yes, they're other places. But I'm happy there's one in my area. Service can go slow and confusing. I've been coming here for years, but I keep coming back for the classic bagels and the owners of this franchise are kind. They can get confused and sometimes short with people but think about if you were in NYC. Service would be a lot more gruff. read more

Normally I don't leave reviews for chain places, but I was so over and beyond thrilled with the customer service and the quality of the food, and I am a tiny bit enraged that they don't have a higher star meter. The staff was so helpful and it gave our family such a fun time when we were going on a hike for my birthday. We get the bagel and lox, the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and a muffin for my daughter. They have homemade orange juice and good coffee. They also have a bathroom that is nice and private if you need to stop, and it is clean. Everyone there is friendly and it was a really fun place to go, I want to go there more often now. read more

I was a little skeptical to come here after reading some of the reviews, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a place that had bagel and lox to take to a client house and this place did not disappoint. Their service was fast, friendly, and very thorough. The gentleman at the register made suggestions and was very pleasant. I believe you can pre-order as well, which is a plus if you're on the run. I drop by around 9 AM and it was not very full.
