I chose Einstein Bros. Bagels on Okeechobee Blvd in Palm Beach this morning and had a pretty solid experience. I ordered the Asiago bagel with cheddar cheese, bacon and two eggs, and it was delicious. The bagel had the perfect amount of chew to it. Not over or under toasted. The eggs were fried hard and well. I also had a medium sized hot black tea. Love my tea.. The service was a bit slower than expected, but the food was fresh and hot when it arrived, so that made up for it. Overall, a good meal, but the pace could use a little improvement. Would definitely return for the tasty bagels and tea though. read more

The staff was chipper as can be on Thanksgiving morning. Mary was holding it down per usual and Jalen (sp?) greeted me with the most radiant smile. His smile could literally light up a room. They were so kind and efficient. I purchased a bakers dozen with two tubs of cream cheese to go and a jalapeño cheddar bagel that I plan to enjoy today. Our family enjoyed the assortment of bagels yesterday and slaughtered the tub of honey almond cream cheese. Not one bad bite was had! If you're craving sweet and salty, opt for a pretzel bagel with the honey almond schmear. It doesn't disappoint! read more

The food was okay -- the service definitely wasn't. Other people came in and seemed to get their food before mine was available -- I only ordered a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. There were two people behind the counter to start with. Later, a couple others appeared. *Finally* my bagel sandwich appeared. I sat down with it and waited for my drink because the sandwich was hot. Others came in and ordered and got their drinks....still no sign of mine. I finally walk up to the end of the counter where drinks were apparently being placed when done. Finally got to tell someone what I was waiting for, and they made it. I like Einstein Bagels but this location needs better management and service. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Initially, this establishment seemed promising with plenty of parking and a clean exterior. However, upon entering, things did a complete 180. The staff was unfriendly and did not even greet us. When we approached the counter I began by ordering one bagel with cream cheese, with no heat, while others in my party ordered similar items. The team members, once again, were beyond rude and did not confirm anything regarding the order, including the price. They did not honor their discount policy (senior discount or any other). The gentleman taking our order said, 'What?' Every other Einstein Bros. Bagels honored them, but this one didn't? The staff member simply said, 'k', not even a full 'okay', and literally did not blink, as if pretending we wouldn't notice. We did not receive our discounts. The restaurant itself was also not very clean and the area in which plastic utensils were kept was a mess. This might be due to customers with poor manners; however, was also not even 10 o'clock in the morning and the place seemed empty. The order took 10 minutes for three bagels. Mine had no cream cheese on it, and when I asked why, they didn't even bother to give me an answer, just a glance. I requested cream cheese on the side, which I had to apply myself. It's not ok, and really crappy to over charge people without asking. Every sandwich has an option of one or two eggs, and it is not ok to assume customers want 2 eggs and charge them. I was very upset when I got my food, then realized she never asked but charged me. Also the chorizo sausage was gross. The edges were hard and crunchy. Ok this is/was my last visit here. I ordered a bagel and wanted half toasted for here and the other half to go, so the cashier looked at me as if I had 2 heads and said we can't do that." I go why not?? This Sat morning visit brought me a much better experience. Different crew, fresher bagels and excellent customer service! I have been going to this Einstein Bros location since it opened a few months ago. I originally wrote a review for it with two stars. That entire page has somehow disappeared. (Anyone at YELP have an idea how/why?) I have had some terrible experiences at this Einstein in regards to customer service but thankfully they seemed to have made a turn for the better. The food is still fresh and delicious and the coffee is still 'Darn Good' but the customer service that was TERRIBLE before is looking much much brighter. Note: I thought last week was a fluke so I waited until I had another good experience before writing. Today I had the absolute pleasure of being waited on by happy and friendly staff, smiling faces, and a clean dining area. For the first time in months my name was spelled correctly on my receipt. When the coffee ran out, fresh and hot coffee was immediately replaced. The half and half ran out too when I went up for a refill. It was replaced in the blink of an eye by a smiling employee who assured me it was no trouble at all. The crew came out to collect baskets, wipe counters, and deliver food multiple times. It was running like a well-oiled machine. I think new crew leader Stephanie is a great addition and have upgraded my original 2 stars up to 3. This place is now A-ok and I will continue to visit. read more

This morning my husband stopped in to get bagels as we have guest. He ordered the bakers dozen which comes with 13 bagels and 2 shmear tubs. This was more than enough for the amount of people at the house. Knowing that this is the first time my husband is visiting the establishment i go online check out menu. Tell him exactly what to get. I come home after work and ask the kids why are there so many bagels left over. They said because there was no cream cheese. So i ask my husband who is now at work. He said no one told him about the shmears... So this location closed at 3pm, and I walked in at 2:42. There was a man and a woman working behind the counter. I ordered 4 bagels and was out of there by 2:44. I mention the time because I really did not take up much of their time at all, which leads me to my next very concerning comment. First of all, the lady behind the counter was so rude to me. She mumbled, and when I couldn't hear her, she continued being rude. However, she said very loudly, and very clearly, to the man, "can I lock the doors now?" before my transaction was even finished (I assume from the fact that she was asking him means that he was some sort of manager- who, by the way, did not stop her either). And then she laughed very loudly, and very clearly. Lady, your rudeness and desire to close 15 minutes early is neither funny nor cute. The 2 minutes (literally) that I was in the store did not warrant your nasty comments or your nasty attitude. Anyway, the bagels were good, which is the reason why they got an additional star. But if you're looking to be treated decently here, just skip it. read more

I am always one to leave positive feedback but after my experience on Friday at this location, I have nothing positive to say. I ordered four bagels total. One everything bagel, toasted with cream cheese. One Asiago bagel not toasted with veggie cream cheese. One everything bagel toasted with egg & cheese. One Asiago bagel toasted with egg and cheese. Every single one was given to me incorrectly after waiting over 30 minutes for them to remake just one and make it incorrectly again. It was 11 AM, after the breakfast rush and before the lunch rush, yet they had none of the requested bagels except for one everything bagel that should've just been called plain. The toasted bagels were ice cold, both cream cheese types were incorrect and egg and cheese weren't even fully cooked. They put all app orders, like uber eats, ahead of the customers in the store so after you wait and wait they finally tell you that they're out of what you had ordered and paid for over 20 minutes ago. Every person who worked there was rude, nasty and made me feel extremely uncomfortable for their mistakes. To top it off, no hair nets were worn, no gloves and no masks (albeit this particular one is their choice). They exchanged money with the same hands drinks and food were made with without a washing. My company orders out from this location a lot, I'm glad I went this time to see how much disarray they are in and how unsanitary their conditions are. We will not be returning. read more

Worst experience. Waited in line while person ahead of me took time ordering two dozen bagels. Cashier pulls her order. Then a lady jumps out of line for an express order cashier goes to help her and start her order while I wait. This was probably one of the worst ways to start my day. I call ahead and place an order over the phone which was very convenient because a lot of places don't allow it. However, when I got there to pay after, rudely, being redirected to another counter to wait in a line, even though I called ahead, whom appeared to be the boss had a very nasty attitude when I told him that the orders were going to be paid separately. This is my first visit to any location. 2 of the associates behind the counter have their ear buds/ full size headphones on their head... even while talking to customers! Our order was wrong.
