We we're in a hurry for food and we stopped off at this place and we were extremely disappointed. First I was trying to order a sausage sandwich but they don't have sausage!!!! Literally every single breakfast chain has sausage included. Also I was going to an order an orange juice because its healthy. It had 340 calories and 72 grams of SUGAR! Incredibly unhealthy, it is also MADE by einstein company. I had to pay at a different place for my food which was an inconvenience. Speaking of inconveniences, I had to go to the bathroom but the whole area has their bathrooms locked. But, I checked the other restaurants and they were locked but you could access them with a code. You cannot sit down at this place because they are still in a Covid state. The workers are not friendly and did not thank us for picking them or used manners like Starbucks. Napkins we're hard to find because they were tucked away in a rinkey dinkey box. The sand which was undercooked and cold. The bacon look to be store bought and the eggs were thin. Also all of the bread in the casing looked stale and moldy. Not to mention that the entire restaurant was dirty and run down. There was so much dirt and cracked ceiling panels. First semester of college my friend and I would car pool and every frickin morning we would be here. One of the guys, Josh, even learned my name and he was sooooo awesome, unfortunately, I don't get to see him at Einstein's Bagel anymore. I haven't tried anything here that I didn't like. I love their spreads, every single one of them. They always give me an abundant amount and I love anything that is a spread, dressing, or condiment in large amounts. Their eggvwhite thin bagels are sooooo good as well. I love their coffee, I am a picky person when it comes to my coffee. It is one of the best. I've been trying to find a decent bagel place since moving to California and gotta say that I still haven't found one, although Bros Bagels are pretty close to it. Without a doubt my favorite lunch spot. This is my perfect fast lunch spot in north Huntington Beach. It's literally 2 minutes away from the freeway and parking is easy. I love their bagel, I no longer buy bagel from anywhere else. My favorite bagel is the asiago and the jalapano cheese. Their new pick 2 is a great deal for lunch, bagel sandwich with creme cheese is healthy and taste so much better than burgers and fries. Also my new favorites are their strawberry salad and pizza bagels. I highly recommend the California wrap and Club Mex sandwich as well. I also love their dark dark ice tea that keeps my day going all afternoon. If you leave them a survey on the receipt you can get a complementary drink the next visit. I am not sure why there are so many reviews complaining of service speed at this location. We ordered the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich, and Bavarian chicken sandwich. These sandwiches are so good. The bacon was so crispy. Avocado and turkey are so fresh they both go together with the bacon. The strawberry lemonade is good too. I gave them one less star because the line for ordering and pay are far apart from each other. The walk way gets congested. Came here on a busy Sunday morning, the employees asked the customers to move to a different part of the line to help streamline everything, which was awesome that they were able to herd everyone like they did... My family abs I have ordered curbside pick up a number of times and had great service and great food. Today was very different. We place our order around 9:10 and it said it would be ready in 10 min and to pull and turn on my hazards to have the food brought to my car. Just like I have done many times before. My son and I arrived at 9:18 and turned on our hazards. We waited 10 min and no food we went and got in line to find that our food had been sitting on the counter. We were given our food only to find 3 items were missing. We found this out when we checked the order at the car. We went back to wait in line again (our food just getting colder) finally someone from the store happened to walk past us and I said, "excuse we me are missing some items. She took the bag inside and I saw her quickly try to the cook the egg white bagel thing. Once she had finished she brought out everything to us. Our original food now having sat for over 20min and when we got home the egg white was not heated all the way through. I was so disappointed this morning by a place that my family has so enjoyed. I also had ordered a hot coffee and when she brought it out it was iced but by the end of all this I was so frustrated and my son was so hungry I just left. this location is weak and poorly run. The bagels are great when they have some in stock. Normally go in for the cranberry which is the best around. They are usually out of them no matter what time I visit and I end up going to the Irvine store which is always fully stocked (take note, that is how to run a business). This bagel place has been opened a while now but it was only recently that I started coming by every morning. They have a wide selection of bagels and different 'shmears'. My favorite are the Asiago and Spicy Nacho. The bagels are good, but i feel like they can be inconsistent in the way it is prepared. One day, the bagels are a good size with the right amount of shmear and another, the bagels are flat and soggy. Besides that, it's a great place for your breakfast fix. Good price point for bagels. Customer service is great, workers are friendly. One thing that bothers me about this place is; the minute you walk in, it smells like something got stuck in the toaster and is burning. I love Einstein bros usually. I always go when I am out of town (Utah and Arizona mainly) and I love their food, so once I saw there was one near where I live I was excited to try to. I downloaded the app to order curbside pickup since I was in a hurry this morning and I regret it. First when I got there there was no where to do curbside pick up so I don't understand why that is even an option there? I still had to go in. I tried calling and no one answered the phones yet the place was empty (3 employees inside and no customers). Then when I walked in and asked how curbside pickup was supposed to work the worker ignored my question and told me they were out of what I ordered so I needed to pick something else. When I said I didn't want anything else they said I would have to call their customer service to get my money back so it's easier to pick something else so I did. I just wish they could have called since I was in a hurry so I could have changed my order, especially since no one was there. Also the employees were rude and I feel could have handled the situation differently. Then when I got my bagel it was no where comparable to the quality I have gotten in other states. Not blaming them for that since that's not the workers faults just another thing that upset me. I will not be returning to this location. read more

This place has been our go to bagel place for a few years. Actually ever since Bagel Me closed this is the best we have in HB. However, lately they have been decreasing in quality. Burned bagels, forgetting challah bread or other parts of the order, going extremely light on the cream cheese. Just watch your order and double check you have everything. Mmmm their bagels are so good! Try the yogurt parfaits, too. I like to take them for work cause they're a great size. And who needs Starbucks when you have their coffee? It's still tasty to me and since it's self-serve, you can mix it up however you want. They're pretty chill about free refills, too.
