Here is the thing. I enjoy their bagels! And I am simple as it gets! I get 2 plain bagels toasted with butter. The problem is I DREAD GOING IN THIS LOCATION! Not all but majority of the employees who have helped me are never nice or fast. They are the slowest workers I have ever seen!!!! When I can order two plain bagels go over to Starbucks (in their chaos keep in mind, get greeted with a smile and at a decent speed) and than get back to Einsteins and my bagels still aren't done is unbelievable! read more

Customer service is SEVERELY lacking. I've been to this location several times and people are not friendly. Politeness and a smile cost nothing. Multiple people stood in the 'Order Here' line and 3 guys walked back and forth and never acknowledged the people standing in the line. The hot sandwich was NOT hot. And the 'No tomato' request was ignored. The floor in the food prep area (very open and visible to the eating area) was dirty and the bathroom floors need a thorough professional cleaning. When I'm sad that I'm away from New York's Bagel Boy, I turn to Einstein to fill the void. I love the Everything bagel with cream cheese. The Lox and Bagel comes with capers and is quite flavorful. However, you have to plan your timing..fresh bagels in the morning comes with a long wait. read more

Tasty, if not traditional, bagels. Industrial breakfast sandwiches (microwaved eggs and other ingredients). Counter staff could use a bit of improvement in their customer service. They are a bit gruff. The coffee is good. The prices seem a touch expensive for the product. Think I will stick to bagels and spreads and skip the sandwiches in the future. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I live fairly close to the Oxford Oaks Shopping Center so I've stopped in here for breakfast a couple times over the past couple of years. Every single time, I end up regretting it. I don't even know where to start.. During one visit, I went in to grab a panini for lunch and waited over 20 minutes for a single sandwich (I would understand this long wait if the store were busy, but I was the only customer in the store at the time) and when I brought it back over to the Starbucks next door to eat, I bit into cold pieces of chicken. I went back right away to let them know about my experience (I didn't even ask for a refund- I simply wanted to help them by letting them know about my experience for future reference) and the employee just stared back at me and stated that he was unable to refund me. Keep in mind- I didn't even ask them for a refund. I gave them back the sandwich from which I had taken one bite and told them they shouldn't be serving undercooked food. On a different visit, I walked inside and waited over 5 minutes just for my order to be taken because the woman working (with long, curly hair which is always down, which is disgusting considering she works in a food establishment and her hair could easily fall in the food) was on the phone, yelling at whomever was on the other line, and refusing to acknowledge my presence. Finally, after 5 minutes of waiting without a single greeting, she yelled over to a younger employee who happened to be doing something in the back room/kitchen area, and demanded that she come out to the front to help me. They exchanged a few words, saying that they were each busy doing something else and that the other person should help me. Seriously?! After the younger employee took my order, I went over to the register to pay for my bagel and waited another 5 minutes before the woman with the long hair would hang up the phone and ring me up. There isn't one instance in which I left this bagel shop satisfied. I'm honestly surprised that this place is still around considering their rude employees. read more

I have been buying bagels here for awhile. Service is an issue much of the time. You stand there and wait while they run around. Lots of time the bagels are out but this morning was a kicker for me and I may not go back. I tried to get a pumpkin latte. It is expensive but I was in need of one. (I should have gone to the Starbucks which is a few stores down in the shopping center.) I was drooling looking at the picture with all the whip cream and the topping on the drink. What I got was crap. No whip and no topping. I asked about it and I got a curt, we don't have that?!?!? What? The pictures on the price board have it. You charge for it! But you don't actually give it? I will be finding a different place to buy my bagels. read more

I wish i read the reviews before i went. This place was awful, not to mention pretty expensive. My boyfriend and i spent $10 on two of their "classic" coffees. It was very watery and left something to be desired. We tossed them before we even left the shop. I ordered cream cheese and avocado on a poppyseed bagel, and they put so little of either that they couldn't even spread it evenly on the bagel. Would not recommend!!! Seems like each time I come in here I've had somebody that's rude as they try to rush you, I vowed the first time I came here I would not come back because of the rudeness even when no one was behind me. I just decided to call in an order and once again absolute rudeness a woman named Kim took my order and then before I could even finish it by saying I wanted to get extra spread on my bagels she hung up on me without without saying goodbye or anything i'm sure when I get there they will be just as rude, worst customer service ever!! read more

Customer Service. That's all. It's about providing some level of decent service. I don't mind that they forgot my cream cheese. I do mind that they can't just say "oh sorry about that, we will fix it." The guy acted like he was doing me a favor to remake it properly and like I was annoying him. I then tried to make small talk about something with him and he just cut me short and rolled his eyes. Really? I was just in your location in Yardley and had all intentions of getting a bagel but when I used the ladies bathroom, I was horrified at how dirty it was and there went my appetite to eat there. I let one of the workers know who said, "thanks". It hasn't been cleaned in ages. There was black balls of dirt on the floor and all along the edges of the floor. The toilet was disgusting. The paper towel holder was filthy. How can that be ok in a place that serves food? If your bathroom is that dirty, I can't possibly imagine how your kitchen is. I have been here two times now and both times I have regretted it. They are the SLOWEST workers I have ever encountered...that and they are chronically understaffed. There is almost always a long line where people wait an eternity just to order a bagel and coffee. Then, when you get your food, it's often cold and if you do order cream cheese, they will put literally just a drop of it on, so it's just a bagel with a thin film of cream cheese on it. Avoid this place. This is not run well at all and you will be disappointed. read more

I travel between Newtown and Yardley and I've been to the Newtown Einstein bagel a few times, great service fast and great food. I've been to the one in Yardley 3 times now this year and each time my order was messed up and atleast 1 person waiting to get there order fixed. Extremely slow and terrible customer service. These are not NY style bagels. They lack the chew, the meatiness, the "crust" and the flavor of a bagel. They are round bread pieces. We ordered a toasted sesame bagel with lox, cream cheese and onions. We laughed when we saw it. The person who made it didn't bother to spread the cream cheese around. They just sort of half ass put some cheese in the middle of the bread. It had super unevenly cut onions on it..one side of the onion was 1/2 in thick and then other side was about a centimeter thick. The lox was good. Here's the deal, if you're hungry and need some carbs, it's good bread. If you want a BAGEL, don't go here. read more

Not the friendliest bunch... I'm not sure that I've ever seen anyone behind the counter smile when I've been in the shop. And I can't say that any of my visits there have been relaxed or comfortable. I ask a simple question, then I wonder what I said wrong because of the flat response that I get in return. Always seems to be an uncomfortable few minutes in there. I always have a great experiance here every Sunday. The same people seem to work every Sunday. Nick appears in charge and definitely knows how to run the store and to keep the customers happy. This is the only Einstein's I will visit in the tri-state area. read more

The one bucket-hat dude was very rude and gave me attitude for no reason and threatened to call the cops because i was irritated for waiting a long amount of time, i grabbed my drink and said we should receive a drink for free for waiting so long. He told me with a slight attitude he couldnt handle how long other customer would take. There was another register (the girl helped another customer on) and i said they should have rang us up on another register since there was two workers. Not sure how the register system works but he had the nerve to raise his hands and his voice and tell me with an attitude there wasnt another one and i warned him to not give me (the customer) attitude and he picked up the phone and told me he'd call the cops. What would they do?! So at that point i left, i didnt need the stress from a some rando bagel worker. I did raise my voice back at him because we were already irritated and you dont treat customers the way they did to my mother, friend, and myself. I had no idea workers were allowed to argue and tip off the customer instead of remaining calm and handling the situation in a professional manner. Before all of this my friend asked the girl if there was another register and she was almost immediately ignored and the girl put her attention onto another women (who was already finished eating) while we were obviously very irritated for waiting such a long time on our break. By the time we got our food it was cold. Once going back into my job i told people to not go there because of the immaturity and absolutely terrible customer service. I come to yardley for 4 days every two/three months for my job and i have never had a problem until today. I will never return to this place. read more
