Well this is a small hole on the wall place next to Neko sushi and Neko supreme. Kinda confusing at first. Saw a sign that said Neko ramen. And kept waking back and forward a few. Then stopped at the sign that said Eki ramen. Then the guy came outside and said don't be shy and come on in. When I asked he said it's Neko but listed as Eki. Ok whatever I wanted to try. So ordered a few dishes. And a bunch of inari as I wanted to see what it was about. It was a happy hour special so it was 1.99 a piece Wanted to warm up a bit with some soup. It is 55 degrees outside. And it felt like 60 inside. Food got cold really fast. Like come on guys. Can we turn the heater on? They have a microwave on the side counter. Wonder if I could have just heated up my food myself. Lol Handroll wasn't made like the traditional hand rolls see have been accustomed too. If you look at my pics it looks like a square piece of seaweed folded on half like a taco and put inside the holder. Now this doesn't change the overall taste of it (which was good by the way) but some inconvenience for some. See I didn't eat it right away as I was eating my ramen. So by the time I got to the handroll (5 mins later) the seaweed was soggy and sticking to the wooden holder and fell apart. I just scooped it out onto a plate and ate it with my chopsticks. Inari actually exceeded my expectations. It was overstuffed and lots of toppings. Double the size you would normally get at an ayce location. I recommend the creamy lobster. And eel. For some reason they ran out of anything salmon. Kinda weird. Wonder why they just didn't go get some from there ayce sushi stores literally nextdoor lol. Just saying. Lots of improvements could have been done yes. But overall experience of the food taste and flavor is good. Side note. I asked about doing a yelp check in and he mentioned the free dessert. So I did it on front of him and he showed me which one to pick (Eki ramen) and done. Yet he still didn't bring me anything. It is what it is. Jist payed our bill and left. Wasn't a deal breaker for me
It's been a while since we had GOOD ramen... and this place is now added to our TOP list. Service was great no complaints. This place is small but we were seated quickly. Our food came out pretty quick after ordering. OMG. The broth was delicious- after tasting the broth I knew it was gonna be good! Definitely lives up to the name "Umami" black garlic. The ratio of each item was perfect- nothing over powered anything! The meat was good too. I haven't had GOOD ramen in a while and thiiiiis was a hit! Lol. Husband enjoyed his ramen- it wasnt as spicy as he wanted it to be but he agrees with everything I said (Good Hubs) The crispy rice was good, nothing special. Husband thought rice was a little too crispy. The snowflake gyoza was good loved the texture and the dipping sauce that came with it was good! Overall, definitely on our list! Definitely a spot to try!
I love how cute this spot is! Eki Ramen has such a warm and cozy aesthetic that makes you want to stay a while. The ramen I had was delicious -- loaded with noodles and topped with a whole chicken thigh that was full of flavor and soaked up the rich broth perfectly. I also really liked that the noodles were a little thicker, which gave the ramen even more bite. Their snowflake gyoza was crispy and tasty, and I loved the added touch of their banchan and cupbaps to-go. The cupbaps are super convenient since you can just microwave them at home. Service here is also amazing -- the staff is so kind, friendly, and quick, always serving with warm smiles. Overall, I'd definitely come back here for both the food and the vibes!
We got the tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen it was really flavorful and service was quick. 10/10
My friends and I stopped in on a Friday night to check this place out. I had no idea it was located here and that parking was a bit challenging to find. After lucking into our spots, we were worried that there was a huge line. The line was actually for Neki Sushi (next door). When we went in it was only 1/4 full and we were instantly seated. I love the decor and it was so cute and decorative, reminded me of being in Japan. We got a booth and were immediately handed some menus. I had no idea that everything was so affordable--half off on their standard offerings for a total of $10 or $11, and $5 off on some of their signature offerings. They had the option of adding more toppings for an additional $1.50 each also. You're able to choose between Tonkatsu, Shoyo, and Miso broth. The $10 or $11 ramen features standard offerings and also 1 option for spicy. For the features that are some of their most popular, they had a Spicy and a Chicken ramen to choose from. For the other part of the menu, BOGO appetizers where you can choose from Deep Fried or Baked Rolls or Grilled options. Their drink menu features tea, soft drinks, sake, soju--with 1 free soft drink valid with Yelp check in. I didn't use this option since I'm more of a water fan, but it's good to know that it exists. We got a Baked Lobster Roll and Truffle Fries and Shimp Tempura and Baked California roll. For entrees we got the Eki Jumbo Chicken Ramen, Umami Black Garlic Ramen, and the Spicy Volcano Ramen. We also opted to get more spice on the side to add on to our orders. The broth we chose were Shoyu and Tonkatsu. First off everything came out pretty quickly and the staff was very attentive and kept checking on us. The spice wasn't super spicy and I'm glad we opted for the additional spice. Everything else was as expected and delicious! We did end up boxing up half of our stuff since we had so much food! Honestly, I plan to come back again in the future to take advantage of their deals. I must rememeber to come hungrier since I was sad that I couldn't try out more items on their menu.
Honestly, for a Saturday night... this place is amazing! Cheap ramen and BOGO on appetizers! We were immediately seated and the staff was joking and laughing with us! It's like a little escape to Japan the decor is amazing!! You are really missing out if you don't try this spot!!

When we first stepped in, our waiter greeted us warmly and we immediately got seated. Japanese music was playing and the ambiance was pretty casual. They also have a special going on where some items are half off. I got their house special ramen and it tasted amazing. The broth was delicious and the ramen noodles were the right consistency. I can't wait to come here again.

I really wanted to keep supporting this place, but the constant menu changes have finally lost me. I miss the original Neko Ramen menu from when they first opened. With all my favorites now removed, there just isn't enough left on the menu to warrant a return visit. Great service can't make up for the loss of the food that made me a regular in the first place. Please bring back the addictive cucumbers at the bare minimum! If you really want to get us back as loyal "day one" customers, bring back that original menu with the hand rolls and the creamy chicken ramen. Until then, we'll be looking for a new go-to spot.
Most generic, perhaps even bland, tonkatsu broth is have ever had. Everything else at the restaurant, including the service and the price, was wonderful.
Incredibly cute and delicious ramen shop in Chinatown. Eki Ramen is styled after traditional quick but delicious ramen in Japanese train stations and the vibe inside is so well done. Service was excellent as well and everyone was very friendly and prompt. I got the original ramen which was genuinely the best ramen and broth I've had yet. I'm not normally one to go crazy for ramen but I am currently losing it over this broth. Most of the menu is also half off or buy one get one (in the case of some appetizers). This spot is so affordable with incredible food. My ramen was only ~$10 and the chicken karage (excellent fry) was ~$7. There is a parking garage as the outside parking fills up quickly. I'm excited to make Eki part of my rotation this weekend.
Formerly Neko Ramen, Eli Ramen has the same delicious food options. The umami black garlic ramen was flavorful and filled with toppings. I inhaled it. My husband loved the eki signature ramen (he had it two nights in a row). The lobster roll was solid and i enjoyed it. The place is quaint so be prepared to wait for a seat or to sit along the wall. The decor is fun and the service was great. The prices are phenomenal!
Craving ramen? Well then Eki Ramen is your spot! Located inside cheongdam food hall the combos offered include both the ramen and the sushi! The delicious pairing and scratches both itches when you can't decide whether to have sushi OR ramen. The Lisa Lisa roll was pleasantly crunchy and creamy with a hint of sweetness. As for the Final Boss roll, the eel was tender and the contrast between the sweet eel sauce and savory garlic chips hit just the spot. The Eki ramen, a classic tonkotsu broth was comforting, creamy, and warm, with a slightly sweet taste that lingers in the back of your throat. The food itself was great but the service was even better! My daughter was starving after her black belt testing and within less than minutes it arrived and she scarfed it all down in five. Even the warm lighting of the place set a comforting mood to the meal. The soft buzz of other customers and the hints of greenery created a welcoming the environment for my family to have their meals. read more

Not bad ramen shop in Cheongdam Food Hall offering *almost* 50% deal on their ramen and bogo on sushi. * tonkotsu ramen (4/5) - standard, slightly lean meat but great $10 value w the soft opening deal Our server was super sweet and accommodating. I really wish I had pictures but we devoured everything so quickly. The food was delicious and the prices were great. I've lived in Japan and this is the closest ramen and ambiance that reflects their ramen restaurants. Service was fast and efficient. The restaurant is small. But decorated very Japanese. I will be back for sure! read more

I finally got a chance to try Eki, and had a hard time deciding between Volcano Ramen with tonkotsu broth and Jumbo Chicken Ramen with shoyu broth (not that into shoyu) both are recommended by the chef. I'm glad I chose Eki Jumbo Chicken Ramen. It was very good, decent size with flavorful broth. I like hoe the chicken is oven grilled, so the meat is very soft not dry and delicious roasted skin. I would totally get this again and ai can say i'm into Shoyu broth now too! read more
Today was grocery shopping day and Asian groceries were on the bulk of the list so needless to say we were in Chinatown. As is our custom, we usually have lunch somewhere along the day as well. I've been seeing a significant amount of social media traffic for EKI ramen lately so we decided on lunch there. Well Eki is just the new name/brand and in the same space as Ramen Neko, the place has been spiffed up a bit more Japanesey items etc. they also added a grab and go section which is probably a good move for the late night crowd. A whole slew of tables outside would lend to the neighborhood casual eatery effect. By the way, EKI means train station in Japanese and urban train stations are really community hubs especially once you are a little farther out from downtown areas. There are usually department stores, restaurants, bars etc. surrounding many popular train station. Ok Japanese culture lesson aside. The menu has changed a bit but still ramen-centric with a few app's and maki and onigiri.. We ordered the fried gyoza (three) and the addicting cucumbers as apps . My dining partner had the eki signature ramen (basically a tonkatsu style ) and I had the Umami black garlic ramen (tonkatsu style) . I also ordered a tuna mayo onigiri as an app. Now for those of you who have never had one of the pre-made in some commercial kitchen torture treat, these puppies are like the rubick cubes of food. They are wrapped so the seaweed sheet is sealed separately from the rice and it is a three or four step process to get the seaweed free and wrapped around the triangle of rice. I basically murder mine every time I get one of these pre-made monsters. The gyoza were crispy, ok, nothing special but good. The addicting cucumber was really tasty. A sweet and moderately spicy (level 2-3) crunchy chili sauce. We enjoyed them to be sure. On to the ramen. ..... both bowls filled to the brim with broth (I like my broth super hot and I forgot to tell them to heat it more as the ramen noodles always cool the broth down). The noodles were excellent with a good tooth feel and were plentiful. Other ingredients were typical, chashu (pork) half of a soft hard boiled egg etc. mine was definitely garlicky .... We were definitely full by the time we finished. The bill was $35.49 out the door. Didn't ask for a military discount . Will I be back, for sure. Definitely a different vibe from Sora and some of the other ramen places around Chinatown read more

Lee was absolutely great. He helped us navigate through the menu as this was our first time in. The tonkotsu broth was so great and we also ordered the karaage and it was so crispy and moist on the inside! I would definitely recommend. It's very small inside, but clean and cute. Very fast service and I am very proud to say I like the pricing as well. Very reasonable for good portions. read more

Had Eki Ramen in Chinatown today. The concept is really cool -- the restaurant is designed like a Japanese train station, which gives it a fun, unique atmosphere. We ordered the takoyaki to start. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing. It didn't come with bonito flakes, wasn't very hot, and seemed slightly undercooked. For ramen, I ordered the Volcano Spicy. The flavor was decent, but both the egg and chashu pork were cold. My fiancé ordered the Black Garlic ramen, which had really good flavor overall, but again, the egg and chashu pork were cold. Both broths were only lukewarm, which took away from the experience. That said, the service was great -- friendly and fast -- and all of the food came out quickly. Prices were reasonable as well. read more

Found this spot next to another restaurant we were going to try. The other had a 40 minute wait, so we decided to try this one. Glad we did! The service was courteous and prompt, the food was delicious and came out quickly. Smallish inside so maybe not the place for a big group but it was nice and cozy for my wife and me. read more

We went to this place last year when it was named Neko Ramen and loved it! We were initially bummed when we heard it closed down via Yelp. But, it became Eki Ramen and we gave it a try. This is our second time this trip and we love it. The ramen is amazing and so are the prices. This will be our regular ramen place when we come to Vegas! Service was great as well and the ambiance is awesome! read more

Well I read so many reviews about this place, I just had to come to Chinatown and try it. I had a hard time finding it, it's way in a corner. Parking was not a problem. I was greeted very quickly. Service was way over and beyond. Every few minutes I was asked if everything was ok. I ordered the Addicting Cucumbers and Umami Black Ramen. Being my first time here I wasn't very impressed. The Addicting Cucumbers were very Oily and bland. not much flavor, lots of crunch though. The Umami Black Ramen didn't have hardly any flavor, more noodles than veggies. Over all, about 2 hours later I had massive diarrhea. The place was clean and booths very comfortable. I'll more than likely not be returning but I'll keep trying new places in Chinatown. read more
