Food was bomb, I had a lomo saltado and was very well seasoned, the portions was pretty big, feeds 2 if your not THAT hungry . Price was reasonable ($19.75 with a Coke ) It's an outdoor seating which was rooftop. Service was good , staff was friendly

El Aji Cocina Peruana serves some of the most delicious Peruvian food I have ever tasted! Definitely you have to get the Ceviche Mixto it's super refreshing and bursting with fresh flavors! The Tallarin Saltado and Chaufa Pollo have that fire taste to it as everything is stir fried to perfection! And of course you cannot forget about the Lomo Saltado which is the ultimate comfort food ever! Come down to El Aji Cocina Peruana grab an Inca Kola and say hi to the owner who's been doing this for sometime perfecting his craft!

    Vanessa P.

This is my first time I ordered through Uber eats and it had really great reviews so I had to try it and honestly it wasn't great the lomo Saltado was disappointing when it came to the meat it had no flavor so I didn't eat it

Lomo Saltado plate $11 and an Inca Kola $2.50.

It's a small open air space, and it can get full right at dinner time, but if you go right as they open at 5pm, you'll be fine without reservations. The menu is limited, but it's all delicious! The Yuca Fries are a must! Fried and topped with chorizo. All of the sides sounded really good, but these are the best! The thigh meat chicken skewers are perfectly sauced, and can be ordered as an appetizer to be shared by two. All of the main dishes are meant to be shared. The prices are up there for the portions, but it's all a real treat for the taste buds, and the view is great! Highly recommend.

We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Sunday without a reservation, but we were immediately seated upon arrival. The ambiance was relaxing and calm with a resort-like interior. Our server was attentive, yet very respectful of our private space and time, which we greatly appreciated. We never felt rushed, and were able to enjoy the relaxing time. Here is our order: Chicha No Nada with Pisco: A very refreshing drink! Adding pisco was a right choice, making it a perfect cocktail to start off the vacation. Bass Ceviche: A great Peruvian-inspired dish! Highly recommend adding the crispy quinoa crusts for additional $3. Wood-fired Skirt Steak: This dish is very similar to Lomo Saltado, which is our favorite Peruvian dish. Steak was cooked to perfection. Yuca Fries: This dish was very interesting, featuring chorizo, yuzu-cilantro, pickled ajis, and cotija. It was delicious and perfect as a side dish. While the food was excellent, the portions were quite small for dishes that are "meant to be shared" as descrived by our server. Albeit this, our dine-in experience was very positive and enjoyable overall.

The cutest little hole in the wall, but still has plenty of seating. I noticed the sign saying they've been open for 45 years which really caught my eye. I walked past it 3 separate times while checking out different stores and each time I saw new customers outside, it was never empty, I knew I had to try. 10/10 service! I was looking at the pictures on the wall and not even 30 seconds later, Ozzie (sorry if i spelled it wrong) came out handed me a menu and greeted me. A couple minutes later he came back to take my order, but I am indecisive and needed more time and he was super kind and patient! I ended up sitting at the bar and ordering to go when the owner Juan came out we started conversing. He asked me how I found the place and if it was my first time and he was so kind and personable. I love when owners or managers have this warm energy to them! I paid $13 cash for three tacos (al pastor) which I'll be honest is a little more than I would normally spend on tacos, but they were a really good size, double tortilla, and delicious, probably one of the best i've had in a long time and the service was so nice that I would go back and do it again. The salsa is super hot lol be careful i'm a huge fan of Peruvian food and it's hard to find good Peruvian food in this area so I will definitely be back to try the ceviche!!

The Peruvian food is still as good now as it was then. I ordered the Aquadito de Pollo which is a chicken soup with a distinct herbal flavor. There is plenty of tender chicken in the soup. It was a good start to my main which was Pollo de Saltado, my favorite. The dish was nicely prepared with a good ratio mix of chicken, onions, tomatoes, and French fries. It was not too salty at all. Rosty seems to make an exemplary Pollo de Saltado. The Chicha Morada was refreshing with the meal. I would return to Rosty if I am in the area again. Dining areas are comfortable with staff being friendly and efficient. The neighborhood looked gentrified with many other businesses in close proximity to explore. The portions were quite generous making the food great for sharing. They also provide complimentary toasted bread and great dipping sauces. What I tried: - Fried yucca - a classic and great way to start the meal - Arroz chaufa de mariscos - shrimp, squid, mussels and fried rice. This was yummy and easily large enough to share. However, the rice was a bit too much on the salty side - Tallarin saltado de carne - sirloin beef strips with spaghetti and sautéed with onions and tomatoes. So delicious, but I wish they were a bit more generous with the amount of beef given the price - Causa de Cameron acevichada - smashed potatoes with shrimp ceviche. Only available on Fridays/weekends. Beautiful presentation and tasted as good as it looked Overall a great spot to try Peruvian food in a comfortable, casual setting. I ordered the quarter chicken with rice and salad, and I was really impressed with the portion sizes. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and gave me the kind of authentic Latin food vibes that I love. The sauce was definitely the highlight for me--it was so good that I found myself adding it to every bite. The prices are also fantastic. For the quality and quantity of food you get, this place is truly a gem. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The restaurant itself is very small, with limited seating available. The customer service also wasn't the best during my visit. Since the dining area was completely full when we arrived, we decided to place our order to go. While we were waiting for our food, a table opened up, so we asked if we could sit down and eat there instead. We were told that because we had ordered our food to go, we were not allowed to sit in the restaurant. I found that a bit disappointing, especially since we had already paid for the same food as everyone else dining in. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely the reason I would come back. If I'm in the area and craving their chicken, I'd absolutely return--just with different expectations regarding the seating situation and service.
