I too was a bit apprehensive at going to this place due to the location in the laundrymat strip mall in Baldwin Park until I ate there!!! Personally I dont think the interior is that bad. It is a small place and for that reason I would not host a large luncheon here. I do however go in about once a month with my mom for a nice quiet lunch. As for the food I love it!!! I haven't seen any italians in there but us mexicans sure can cook some great italian food! Flavorful large portions, great bread cozy atmoshere. There is another location in Azusa I think which only has take out. I would definelty recommend this for catering just to wow your friends. read more

Jambalaya!! Enough said =] it's a small place but it's really nice, prices and portions are really good and their food is delish!! Service is always excellent even when I go at lunch time and it's packed. My ONLY issue is that I wanted dinner and I drove by at 7 PM and it was closed, longer hours are needed for sure!! read more

First time here. I had been looking for a place to have my favorite chicken Marsala, since the last place shut down. I have not found a place that makes it the same, however this one is bit different but great. I think this will be my new spot. I like how the owner (not sure if I'm just assuming it's the owner) or front worker tries to build rapport with customers too! Pizza fanatic here! Was in the area so i decided to try it. Pizza is really good. Crust in just right and is not too heavy where it just tastes like dough. Cheese is nice and gooey and sauce is very flavorful. Toppings are very fresh and look appetizing on the pizza. In a hurry or want an inexpensive meal? Lunch special is the way to go. $6 for a sandwich, fries, and a drink. My favorite are the eggplant, and Italian sandwiches. Customer service!! Excellent!!! I love Italian food and by far this has been one of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend that you try their Poblano Salad, the Chicken Tequila Pasta and the Lasagna. All the meals are delicious freshly made to order and their homemade dinner rolls are perfect with any meal. The staff is very friendly and nice. Great service it's worth the wait. Perhaps take out isn't the best way to go with these folks.. Ok let me start off by saying that my gf and I ordered the blackened chicken fettuccine and to our surprise when she took a bite of her fettuccine she almost literally choked on a plastic wrapper that was in the dish.. So we call up the place and they tell us to come back the next day for another dish on the house.. So I happen to pick it up this time and to my surprise they didn't shut the lid right because it dripped all over my foot and the ground as I was already walking out.. I didn't even bother to go back because I was so mad and not to mention that I burned the shit out of my hands and foot.. I'll never go back to that place and I don't recommend getting take out at that place.. If you do decide to go make sure you look at your food as you eat it don't be surprised like us and find wrappers in your food.. read more

You wouldn't believe it if I told you that the food at this place is really awesome and an unbelievable price . It's likely that I'll never be back but that's more because the service was generally slow, environment was overall very rough, etc.. You look at the outside of it and you think "maybe I'll get shot?" or "maybe I'll be robbed?" or "maybe I'll be robbed then shot?" If you live in this area though you should be here like 5 times / week. I think they do take-out? If so I would use them to cater a lunch meeting at work or something. read more

Another fabulous find! Was in area with out of town sister and wanted a private place that was not Mexican or a chain place.... We found this jewel. The OWNER gifted us with a very warm welcome! We we catered to the entire time. I was really wanting eggplant parmigiana but they only had sandwich version, and they made it for me anyway, then we had rotini with champagne sauce and then the linguini with clams , all really great! The salad was so tasty and the homemade bread rolls are not just eat one! They have Italian beer and beautiful merlot, such a great small place! I can't wait to go back! read more

A total hidden gem!! Fantastic Italian food at incredibly reasonable prices. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, but you can taste the quality in every bite. My girlfriend had chicken parmigiana and I had the grilled chicken with vegetables with side of angel hair pasta. My dish was flavorful, lemony with a light taste of garlic. The portions are extremely generous and the waiter was very attentive. It was also nice to meet the owner of the restaurant as it is a sign of person who cares about the quality and taste of his food. He recommended a few dishes for next and frankly, I can wait to go again. It may not be in Beverly Hills or Newport Beach, but easily one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. Came here on a recommendation from a coworker to try their steak & spinach salad with roasted potatoes. I ordered the salad, but realized half way through there were no potatoes. I mentioned this to the waiter and he brought a plate of potatoes out, but seeing as I was pretty much done with my salad by then I decided not to eat them. :/ Service was pleasant and quick, but they did seem a bit overwhelmed with the lunch rush, so I would recommend double checking your order. I was having lunch there today which they have delicious pastas, taste really good. Services are really great, waiter asked me do I need anything more than twice during the meal which is pretty sweet. The waiter also asked me whether I need a salad after I done ordering my meals, and came to ask me what do I want to drink before I am ready to make order. So he stopped his steps for me for at least three times during this period. Overall, it is a nice restaurant, definitely will visit there again. read more

Staff is very friendly and great too. 4 stars because the time I went it felt like there's no AC. They had ceiling fans on but that was about it.
